  1. I nearly made this very joke, but I wasn't sure how many people would get it anymore, even around here. That was a damned long time ago. Enough people is the answer. Damn Lithtech engine.
  2. You don't understand it because it's very silly.
  3. That would be rather noice.
  4. This might be Project Rhode Island, then?
  5. What happened to the States nomenclature?
  6. It's an Ouruboros, a rather old symbol, filled with meaning. 300 guests in this thread by the way.
  7. As the fantastical words thrown around are lacking in Google results, I'm betting it's a new IP. Esenath is an actual female first name, apparently.
  8. If a mythological being reports it, it must be true.
  9. Praise it! The sun, I mean.
  10. Dark Souls, hopefully.
  11. It's looking good.
  12. Ryan wants to raise taxes for everyone except the top 1%, I think. There's an article somewhere that points out that Romney would pay no taxes under Ryan's budget plan. @Monte: Ayn Rand is Ryan's idol. Like literally.
  13. Paul Ryan is not, in any way whatsoever, a fiscal conservative. Unless you consider reducing revenue by 4 trillion over 10 years to be fiscally conservative.
  14. Dark Knight Rises. Some serious plotting issues, but I still really enjoyed it, and Tom Hardy was awesome.
  15. Thread closed at the request of the thread starter.
  16. Thanks for all that.
  17. While the 7950 is much cheaper than a 670, the 670 is still noticeably faster than the AMD card, and in fact it performs about the same as the 7970 which, despite the price cut is still more expensive the Nvidia card. At least in Europe, choosing between the 7950 and 670 is a question of budget. If your budget can take it the 670 is still the better choice.
  18. That is, indeed, true. Gromnir used to be a denizen of Bioware's forums.
  19. Civ V was a big step back from Civ IV, as far as empire building is concerned. The first Civ game I've regretted buying.
  20. What happened is that this isn't DS1 or 2. The gameplay is quite different, and as designed there's no point in allowing players to move completely away from each other. Note that the camera is, by all accounts, too cramped for three and four players. If that is your complaint, you are, by my estimation completely right in feeling aggrieved. For two players, however, which is what you seem to be doing, it is perfectly fine. There's absolutely no reason in the course of gameplay to leave your co-op partner standing somewhere. For reference, check the feedback from DS1 and 2 fans on the forums, at the time of release. Fans of the series were angry. Other people not so much.
  21. Or she's the devil.
  22. I note that the one looking at the camera has her body facing one way, and her foot turned the opposite way.
  23. I thought some of the encounter design in MotB, SoZ and DS3 was quite great.
