League of Legends Challenge
I realized we have a small logistical problem. Namely Team Obsidian is likely on the NA servers and we're on the EU. Ping problems + if we register there (no, I won't transfer ) we'll have level 1 characters and only the free roster and vice versa.

League of Legends Challenge
I can top or mid. Though my specialty is adc. And Saturdays would be best for me too. Oh and likewise GMT +1.

It's from Nwn or Icewind Dale, I think.- Not an MMO, but Lan support?
I like co-op, IWD2 was loads of fun with some friends back in the day.- Design a monster.
An old classic, done differently: Astral Vampire If someone has his soul ripped out, that person dies. Should he only have part of his soul ripped, tearing it in half, he becomes an astral vampire. Feeling the emptiness where his very being is supposed to be, he starts craving something. That "hunger" becomes worse and worse, robbing him of logical thought, reducing him to a beast, until he sates his appetite and consumes somebody else's soul. His own soul is complete again...for a time. His normal personality returns, though possibly distorted by the absorbed person's. After a while the new soul is "used up", announced by the return of the hunger.- RANDOM VIDEA GAME NEWS!

- Classes and Skills
It looks like classes will be distinguished by their (combat) mechanics instead of the acquirable skills. Which is a good thing, imo.- New Star Wars RPG
\o/ Even if "jedi are being killed off" sounds rather boring, I'm hopeful there's something good woven deeper in the story. Though personally I would prefer a story set after Ep 6. I just like that "era" more. OTOH ,Imperial regime and potencially seeing those red robed guys in action sounds good too.- What are you playing now?
GhostofAnakin, on 09 Feb 2013 - 17:25, said: "Agreed. I think a lot of that has to do with Sleeping Dogs' combat. GTA's combat has always been frustratingly bad." I disliked the whole story (up to the part I gave up, I mean), the cahracter interactions - not the minigame, the conversations. And the animations, gawd. hose snail like movements I have to suffer through to even shoot back at someone.. or getting knocked over from touching people... or spending half a minute in the air because of a car crash... .... ....- What are you playing now?

Those 15 minutes sure flew away fast.. Looks good, can't wait.- Your first cRPG
It was either Enchantasy, the demo of Magic and Mayhem, or the demo of Betrayal at Krondor. All 3 were fun. :D- RANDOM VIDEA GAME NEWS!

I like this one. I think the last time I saw a giant in game was that fire giant battle in BG2 TOB. NwN 1 had giants too!- Adventurer's MOBA Hall
- Ciphers: Inspirations and their mechanics
Random Cipher ideas: Walking animation: A casual stroll, with hands behind their backs. Like this: After all, who gives a fork if the puny unter-creatures want to shout and wave their compensators around? Cipher are too chill for that. (Maybe floating at higher levels? ) Enhance physique/Transcend Your Limitations/However Fancy You Like To Name Your Abilities: Boost a physical Stat. Always useful! United Minds/Souls: As long as the Cipher maintains this power, the party members use his/her magical and otherwise supernatural resistances instead of their own. Or the highest one in the party, whichever. Force of Will: Enemies make a Strength or whatever check or fly backwards. With this cheap and reliable pwer, rodent problems are in the past! Mind Control (I saw this one in the thread earlier, but I'll just write down my version instead of making vague references to that one): Cipher focuses, gains control of one "mook" (think regular ork). At later levels, maybe more than one mook or one elite (~ork chieftain bodyguard) and can mentally harass bosses (ork chieftain). Like, I dunno, make casting harder, or a small stun for one turn, something like that. - "I think I'm gonna have to go on a KILL-ing spree"
