    STEAM!

Can you guys tell me if there's a Steam-like store for PlayStation 3 games?
  2. That's surprisingly nice of them.
  3. I want to live again! Or my cousin on my mother's side, an elf chick.
  4. Hm, would a horse be effective in battle as a weapon, well as much as a dog anyway. Maybe if the horse could breathe fire or something. Dog bites someone, horse tramples them. Or kicks. Or just wriggles around, making you hard to hit.
  5. Analogue: A hate story may* be what you're looking for.http://ahatestory.com/ *May as in "I've no idea if it lives up to it's reputation".
  6. F to the T to the L. Made it to sector 6 before running into two assault ships in a row. And forgot to turn the distress beacon on earlier while waiting to help.
  7. Honestly, if you buy a lifetime subscription during the twilight of the monthly fee MMOs, you only have yourself to blame.
  8. Wasn't Antharion the game that had Necrophile as a race? Or is it the Tom Hall project?
  9. My psyhic powers will awaken and I shall devour humankind in a misguided bid to bring about Instrumentality.
  10. In other news, the Spike VGA is over and the winners are the usual random nonsense as always. Though they managed to pick 2-3 actually good ones this year. http://www.spike.com/events/video-game-awards-2012-nominees/voting/game-of-the-year
  11. Finished Primordia. Nice game, good story, good puzzles.
  12. Instead of virus, there's venom, and it could work just as well.
  13. It's fun trying out the different races. Meklars aren't too shabby. So far, I've found Silicoids and Elerians to be the most difficult to play well with. The 'Creative' trait (and by extension Psilons) is just way overpowered, making up for any shortcomings, as long as you survive the very beginning of the game. I read once that Creative is only useful for beginners and a non-issue for experienced/good players. Which is funny, whether true or not.

  15. There are a lot of DLC clothes for Sleeping Dogs too. Just Cause 2, Hitman, Deus Ex, etc.
  16. I remember a wonderful scene in NWN when my character couldn't attack for three turns, because the turn was over by the time the 3 enemies finished their attack animations and me my dodge moves. And then I died.
  17. Played the demo of Primordia, a pretty post-apocalyptic adventure game. The protagonist is Horatio-Made Version 5, a wanderer Humanitarian (Man is the perfect machine, robots are the creations of it's creations, tasked to tend to the planet), who's ship's power core is stolen in the intro and he sets out to Metropolis, the City of Glass and Lights to find it. The puzzles are a bit weird at times (or just a bit buggy, or I'm really unlucky). They are logical, but your exact objectives are somewhat fuzzy at times. Still, I suck at adventure games and I could complete it, so it's not too hard. The art style is gorgeous and the world/story is interesting.
  18. Cool. Though I'd have to see some "proper" info about the game before I get excited.
  19. Have only played a few brand new games this year, so my choices are pretty much just Binary Domain, The Walking Dead and Guild Wars 2. TWD provides the best experience, but the overwhelming number of contrievances they used to set up the story is a big black mark for me. Guild Wars 2 has the most complex-yet-solid game play of the three, but the story and story missions just plain suck. And I'm not liking the PvP either. Binary Domain has the best story, though the characters don't get as much focus as the ones in TWD. On the other hand, the gameplay is fun, if not very varied. Oh and Sleeping Dogs. It's awesome, very awesome... but somehow does not feel like it has enough. I may have to go with Binary Domain. Though maybe Primordia will be awesome too.
  20. There are. I tried it out once and gave up at a place that had enemies respawning behind, before and above you. In a back alley.
  21. http://store.steampo....com/news/9480/ Just fixed some controller stuff. Though mine patch was around 20mb or so for Ep2... This can only mean they hid HL3 source code on your computer so hackers cant find it! There is trickery involved! I feel it!
  22. Anyone know what that HL2 patch(?) is about? Special note on the 400MB Ep 2 download.
