None of that changes the fundamental issue and the impact to Africa but its no surprise you are handwaving it, I was expecting that if you were going to comment It doesnt matter how much grain the EU uses because the supply chains are now broken by Russia ending the grain deal. The EU, like the energy from Russia, will make another plan. African countries cant and wont like we witnessed last year because they dependant on this deal And its not just one African country that will be impacted, to quote from the link below " Some of these countries are a part of a group of 16 African nations that import the majority of their wheat from Russia and Ukraine, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization. Djibouti, Burundi, Mauritania, Togo, Cameroon, Senegal, Rwanda, Congo, Libya, Tanzania and Namibia all depend on the warring sides for 50 to 70 percent of their wheat imports. Meanwhile, Egypt and Madagascar import more than 70 to 80 percent and Somalia imports over 90 percent of their wheat requirement. And the African country most dependent on the grain deal is Eritrea – importing 100 percent of its grain from Ukraine and Russia " https://www.trtworld.com/magazine/which-african-countries-benefit-from-türkiye-brokered-grain-deal-624222 points

I have stopped pointing out the obvious lies with the general rhetoric that Russia cares about Africa or the global south The cancellation of the grain deal and its real impact to Africa gets handwaved by Vatniks and Russian supporters with comments like " yes but the grain all goes to the EU " or " its fine, Russia will supply grain directly to African countries " and other similar comments But it will absolutely impact certain African and ME countries the most and these are already mostly impoverished countries that are dependant on this deal for food security and we know this because this all happened last year. Here are 2 links from last year about the biggest outcome for Russia cancelling the deal https://www.hrw.org/news/2022/04/28/ukraine/russia-war-continues-africa-food-crisis-looms https://www.euronews.com/2022/07/23/peace-and-stability-african-leaders-welcome-russia-ukraine-wheat-deal2 points

That was @Noqn And he meant "Diplomacy" instead of "Disposition" in the last sentence I guess. But anyway I think that leveling Intimidate instead of Diplomacy is the way to go for a Steel Garrote.2 points

I gave the FAL to my created merc Dethwish and he is now a murder machine. I gave him the perk that gives him an accuracy bonus from high ground, plus I have a longer barrel on the FAL that increases range to sniper distance and gives an accuracy boost, a scope that gives me a 3 levels of aim for free if I take a shot as my first action in a turn, a heavy stock that gives bonus accuracy with 3+ levels of aim, and a bipod that greatly boosts accuracy when prone. So long as there's a good high vantage point on the map, I can put him up there and he's got pretty much laser accuracy from there. Then it's just a matter of using the rest of the team to lure the poor suckers into his kill zone. I almost feel sorry for them.1 point

For ppl with the same or a similiar Problem. For me , updating the Bios worked Specifically for me I had the Erazer Hunter from Medion. To get this bios update with this PC you need to enter the Medion Forum and ask for the update file. They will respond very fast and send you a step by step guide.1 point

I'm pretty much finished with AIDecisionTrees now! The expressions that are used for defining target prioritization use a different set of methods from the standard Scripts, though I've made sure to cover them all. There's no documentation on them, but the auto-completion feature should be of help enough One issue, as you can see in the videos, is that most of the trees have no DebugName assigned to them... I'm thinking of assigning DebugNames to the trees before exporting to `apotheosis_export` based on this order or priority: AiDecisionTrees whose CharacterClassID is set to a specific class will be named after that class. AiDecisionTrees which a CharacterProgressionTable points to will get that PT's name. If a CharacterProgressionTable contains all abilities of the AiDecisionTree, that table's name will be used. Next, the name of the CharacterProgressionTable with MOST matching abilities with the AiDecisionTree will be used. Lastly, the CharacterProgressionTable with ANY matching ability will be used. Afterwards with this implementation it looks like this, which from what I can tell is accurate enough: Sounds good? Idk if I should name the remaining trees something? I've also updated the export dialog so that it will let you know if you have partially exported data, thought it would be a good idea to clarify since it will show up for everyone after the update now that AI decision trees have to be exported.1 point

Ah, now that's really far from what I was predicting considering what I've read. Eight points into insight it is then hehe. Thanks Noqn, really appreciate you looking into the files again.1 point

I found that 5/226 insight checks can also be solved with perception. Which sounds less than I would've thought, but I went to check some scripted interactions manually to confirm and I think it's accurate.1 point

Elden Ring. Watched a quest NPC being fatally bitten through a wall by a dog t-Rex. Closed the game with Alt+F4. Looted the academy key and rode away from a dragon. Realised that blocking was not viable with the current shield - 1-2 attacks drained the stamina bar. Curious if it is possible to play sword&board at all. Get in the Car, Loser. Got through most of Act 3 with 1 macro, which was activating all abilities with 0.1 delay between them then switching to the next set. Hit the wall at the boss.1 point

Haha, yea the name was somewhat familiar because I've read a lot of your posts here while researching how to build a character in this game. By the way, if you have time, would it be possible for you to check how much overlap there is between the passive skill called Insight and the attribute called Perception, please? I've read a couple of posts where it's mentioned that there's an overlap and a couple of others that mention they don't invest in Insight at all. I'm definitely going to boost my Perception to 20 because that's the max needed for the checks according to the fireundubh tables, but I'm not sure if there are character/lore secrets I'm going to miss if I don't boost my Insight to 8.1 point

I'd like to see modders get on fixing things like magazine size and such before that, it bugs the living daylights out of me that the FAL has a 30 round magazine as standard. Overall I'd like to see a solid balance pass, the only real reason right now to have a 5.56 is ammo variety. And fix some other details. Also, Grizzly with a shortbarrelled MG recks. Hard. Both the enemy and my ammo supply. I've had him chew through 120+ rounds of 7.62 Nato in one round...1 point

I remember that and being almost shocked tbh. Sorry about that, giving anything the CW treatment is bad. Hate watching doesn't appeal to me, but I'll let @majestic do it for everyone and give him support through posting JoJo memes or whatever. And you know what great show just came back? What We Do In The Shadows. Matt Berry is a delight as always.1 point

I love the destructibility in this game. I was fighting some chumps in a dilapidated mansion and the raid leader was on the second floor. I threw a grenade at him which blew up the floor and caused him to fall, taking more damage. Somehow the guy survived both a grenade blast and the fall (he must have eaten his Wheaties that morning) but he was now also trapped in the corner of the house behind rubble. I took this opportunity to mop up all the other goons while he was effectively neutralized, then dropped another grenade on him to put him out of his misery. Good times. Edit: Holy ****, I found a FN FAL! This makes me so happy. My only gripe is that it doesn't have the Rhodesian FAL camo paint job. A modder needs to get on that $#!+ like yesterday. Of course, then I'll also need another mod for the character portrait and model so that I can rock the shorts in proper Rhodesian style. Edit 2: I used up most of my parts to modify the bejesus out of my FAL. Worth! It's on like neckbone!1 point

Man, Dr. Q is a stud. He can knock people unconscious, pummel them to death, and then still run away with free moves. Plus he's a doctor.1 point

When I did the island fort assault I snuck in through a minefield. With no explosives experts in my crew let's just say I engaged in extensive save scumming to get through it with all my limbs intact.1 point

I did the same thing. That northern mine looks isolated and tempting, but that is a deadly crew guarding it. I might try it now that I have better gear and some levels under my belt. Explosives experts are pretty dang important. There is a lot of stuff rigged to blow up on the maps, plus a few minefields. Red is solid for the price. I'm trying to be nice to a bunch of communists in the northern part of the map, since they are helping me fight the Legion, but they are a bit annoying. Kind of like our forum commies.1 point

Hadn't seen that one before - neat! First thing I thought of when you said ambush was antlions but doesn't fit the setting: The Ambush Bug might be a good fit though -1 point

A lot of the Mr Show guys have. Bob is a respected dramatic actor, David Cross is a top-tier comedian, Brian Posehn wrote comics for a minute, Jay Johnston got charged with some felonies, and Paul F Thompkins is forever associated with a dog who was on a very famous TV show back in the 90s. Very strange paths. I have some bad news, they are. And maybe a crossover with John Wick.0 points

am ordinary quick to jump on the bandwagon to criticize owlcat, but some o' the pain you feel is self inflicted, and another portion is the result o' pretending pathfinder pnp and owlcat pathfinder crpg is analogous. only being level six in leper's scar is requiring you to skip over considerable content, which is a perfect ok approach, but is also your choice. if a battle is seeming serious tough but you ain't level'd as much as possible and you skipped over content which likely provides useful power boosting loot, then you do have options to improve your odds, no? also, we wish folks would quit with the pnp level/power comparisons. in pnp the game is balanced for four person parties and not six, so throw out some o' the level math, yes? heck, if you got animal companions the wotr maths is even more broken as you may be mounted on horses capable o' traversing ladders. with reload plus adventurer gear shops aplenty, is no reason to be without scrolls and potions which is gonna serious buff your party, advantages magnified by your perfect clairvoyance which allows you to see all foe buffs and abilities. reload means even if you die once or twice, you may redo knowing exact how the battle is gonna unfold. ignore the numbers. HA! Good Fun!0 points
