Secret footage of the allies' current superweapon:4 points

Assuming our news coverage is correct, by now Lula's leading by more votes than Bolsanaro could realistically still get. Good on you Brazilians, did you bring unmarked white vans with extra ballots and manipulated some voting machines too? Should have stopped the steal earlier. Jokes aside, I hope nobody's going to try and pull a Trump, but with Bolsanaro that is far from a given.2 points

I watched the first episode of that show like six months after it came out (i.e. after everyone was already over it) and then I completely forgot that I watched the first episode until just now. I am going to do absolutely nothing to remedy this situation.2 points

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/04/25/elon-musk-and-free-speech-track-record-not-encouraging.html https://abovethelaw.com/2022/08/elon-musks-legal-filings-against-twitter-show-how-little-he-actually-cares-about-free-speech/ https://www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-free-speech-twitter-global-censorship/ Elon doesn't care about free speech, but I think his move to buy Twitter is less about money (he will lose more money than the Tumblr buyers did) and more about attempting to influence narrative (or stopping us from posting the picture of him and Ghislaine Maxwell). The "free speech" crowd are mostly frauds whose outrage is reserved near exclusively for reactionary media figures, none of them said a damn word when a Trump appointed judge sentenced Daniel Baker to prison for four years for Facebook posts. Such folks will be the first to get in line with real censorship (they already have) and need to be treated like the spineless bootlickers they are. I think for Elon, Attention is Money. Most of his wealth comes from government subsides and convincing other rich people he was going to make a lot of money, his companies don't sell nearly as much as their competitors and most of his "innovations" just catch on fire. Elon Musk is a a huckster cosplaying as a (parody of a) sci-fi tech ceo, if he dropped the show and went low-profile a substantial amount of his current and future wealth would evaporate.2 points

I started up Bayonetta 3. What is there to say? It's Bayonetta, it's ludicrously over the top action schlock. The hardware is really holding the game back. While the character models look great, the backgrounds look like something out of an early XBOX360 game, really flat and washed out with hardly any detail. I can't blame Platinum for that, they did the best they could with aging hardware that was already underpowered when it came out over half a decade to go. The good news is that the framerate is solid and the action silky smooth, which is what really matters. Still, it's pretty obvious that the Switch's lifespan is about over, Nintendo needs to introduce a more powerful system soon. I'm going to set it aside until I finish Plague 2: The Ratening.2 points

The Japanese, at the very least. Sorry. Six years past our supreme court annulled an entire election based on irregularities that happened during the counting of the mail-in ballots. The irregularities amounted to less than the total lead of the winning candidate, so even if they all had been manipulated in favor of the winner of the election and all of them would have gone to the other candidate instead (which was highly unlikely with an almost even 50:50 split), he would still have won. What kind of irregularities you might ask? Why, they were counted on Election-Sunday, while election regulations state they must be counted on the Monday after. Which some smaller districts opted not to do because there the counters have actual day jobs and aren't full time politicians. All the counts were signed off by members of the losing party's candidate, and the party elected to throw the signees stating that regulations were upheld under the bus and file for annulment (causing cases to be opened against people whose 'crime' was counting votes earlier than allowed, with full knowledge of the parties in question and auditors of every party present). Early counting of mail-in ballots has always been done, and every party knew it, and everyone was happy with the way it worked, until it became convenient to have a close election repeated. The voters proceeded to thank them for having to vote again. I know, we're roleplaying Bruno here.1 point

I've seen some reports of police stopping vehicles in places to slow down the vote. With that in mind, the way I see Bolsonaro could pull out a win is pulling something nasty. I'd like to say there's not a chance of that happening but these days you have to wonder. You make good points But maybe [screeching noises from the void between the stars] ?1 point

Bonus points when the relevant skill is only used once and never brought up again. Like Ami's ability to seal off a bubble of space time to lock away the bad guys in the manga.1 point

My initial inclination was to say "...uh, are you sure this isn't just some random fanart?", but doing a search on it, it does appear you are correct: creator of SpyxFamily created this character for their Rengoku no Ashe thingy first. This is something that often bewilders and amuses me with shows/movies: having a character do something or fill a role that should really realistically be filled by someone that has not hitherto appeared, but instead they come up with some excuse for a character that we already know to do it instead because...reasons. The reasons probably vary from show to show and situation to situation (don't want to take the time to design and/or setup a new character, don't want to find an actor that can fill the role when we could just write someone we already know and like to do it instead, want to give an existing character the role because it might be funny or interesting or make them seem like they have more depth or something), but there are still times where it kind of breaks my suspension of disbelief in the way that it happens.1 point

Spy X Family 17: Anya Pink OVERDRIVE After the Yor episode we have an Anya at school episode, complete with Mr Elegant and many Anya faces. And best of all NO FRANKY! For being such a fancy school they need to hire more teachers, it seems that Mr. Elegant teaches everything.1 point

I don't like him because he is a **** talking douche waffle who's money gives him so much power, he can do whatever the **** he wants to without any repercussions. Also he is the CEO of 3 big companies now, and he is on Twitter half the day long, and impregnates every women he crosses path with. I kinda doubt he works as hard as he says he does.1 point

It is clear that in the patch 1.0.4, it clearly states that mutations will not be considered as part of 100% completion. I am only missing the multiplayer mutation but I got 99% completion with a hint to unlock more mutations. I did send an email to Obsidian support team about this and they acknowledged this is indeed a bug :1 point

after fighting pretty much every bug in the game (with the exception of the praying mantis) I felt the need to show the status and debuff effects on them too much, it would be really nice to know when the corrosion effect happens to switch to a stronger weapon, or if the enemy is bleeding, or even when the poisons have run out, to apply again, since I like to change weapons during battle, I find it very fun.1 point

It's been unusually warm over here, too, but I wouldn't say anything about the winter yet. The same holds true for the gas question that @Elerondand @BruceVC have spoken about. It may be that Russia's attempt turns out to be an epic failure (to quote Bruce), but we can't say that yet. Let's talk about this in March or April.1 point

Apparently the Smashing Pumpkins were big fans. I always wondered where that sample in the video for 'Tonight, Tonight' came from and now I know.1 point

I suppose, I could try Bayonetta 3 with an emulator at some point. Not going to purchase a console for 1 game (again, did it for Bayonetta 2). --- Completed Sable to a satisfactory point - found out why there are crates manufactured in London. Also it nicely explains why everyone wears masks.1 point

You're right, they only spawn after killing a significant number of black worker ants. For 1000+ gaming days in my game I observed the appearance of their eggs on the radar only 2 times. According to my observations before patch 1.05, it was most profitable to destroy ants on the surface near the trash can. I'm afraid that after the patch, their number in this area will greatly decrease due to the lack of food there (did not check), and clearing only the anthill is not enough to spawn eggs. Also, the number of black ants near the shed does not affect the spawning of eggs at all. Luckily, their eggs are one of the most useless items in the game, they are only used to make an Omelant, which can be replaced with more powerfull Quesadillantlion.1 point

Man, Anon Cannon, I recognize you are frustrated by things, but you have four posts here and all of them involve insulting the game or the devs in some way. Not really a good way to get your feedback listened to, you know?1 point

They are the places where you find wandering spirits that you can interact with. They include the beach where you wash up after the opening ship battle, Vilario's Rest, Gorecci Street and the Digsite. If you plan on recruiting Xoti, bring her along when you go to the latter two of these sites, and go back to Vilario's Rest with her. She can also interact with spirits at other places where you encounter them, such as the second level of Oathbinder's Sanctum. I think that just interacting with spirits in these opening areas is sufficient to move her quest along. You'll also need to talk with her periodically.1 point

Finished my first playthrough of Atelier Lulua on PS4. I've purchased it few months ago, but never had a chance to play it. Now I spent more than 90 hours with the game and even without a walkthrough, I was able to unlock the true ending and Her Choice trophy. The biggest positive change from previous installments is, that there is no time limit anymore, so you can spend as much time as you need discovering the world. The biggest negative change are the enemies. Even on Normal Difficulty, they have loads of HP, and even with the best weapons synthesized, it takes long time to finish them all off, so at some point the fighting becomes a chore. Story has more depth than original Arland Trilogy, and is satisfying for this kind of game.1 point

That iBuyPower system is like buying a 5-to-7 year old upper-midrange machine today, realistically, never mind that the parts themselves are two generations old at this point. Actually it'd perform almost the same as my old 6700K + 290X system from circa 2015 that I just retired. I'd be aiming a bit higher, especially since you'll have no upgrade path with this and have a stated desire for it to last five years. I'd aim for something like this as a baseline of a value build: CPU: Ryzen 5600 (non-X) or Intel i5 12400F Motherboard: B550 for AMD and B660 for Intel RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 (or 3600MHz CL18, almost identical performance) Video: RX 6600 Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD or some kind PSU: 550-650W is more than plenty Case to taste Tossed together a sample PCPartPicker list using only Amazon and Newegg parts because I don't know other US stores. Tried to choose parts that are from brands with wide distribution and which should be available at most stores though. PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor ($138.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($119.99 @ Amazon) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($50.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital Blue SN570 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($79.14 @ Amazon) Video Card: Asus DUAL Radeon RX 6600 8 GB Video Card ($209.99 @ Newegg) Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case ($97.49 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Phanteks AMP 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($69.99 @ Newegg) Total: $766.58 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2022-10-28 22:32 EDT-0400 Case is a bit overkill and oversized, because the microATX case market is pretty boring. Swap in a Cooler Master NR400 or Silverstone PS15 if you want to cut back there. A third-party CPU cooler is optional but grabbing a budget one like a Deepcool Gammaxx 400 or GTE is a good idea.1 point

To be honest your comment makes no sense, you were talking about how you enjoy the combat because if you are skilled enough you can perfect block and be rewarded for your skills. Then you say you need a roll dodge to control spacing but can't you perfect block then back up a little? And they nerfed a few items and abilities, so they aren't as powerful, and so that other abilities and set pieces get a bit more usage. I personally enjoy not having to go for one specific set and one specific weapon and use only a few mutations in order to play the game. It is supposed to be challenging, if you don't like the challenge lower the difficulty.1 point
