For your information, there is a problem with level scaling on the task Sealed Fate. This post illustrates the problem that I will explain below.5 points

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2021-11-10-star-citizen-developer-plans-1000-person-manchester-mega-studio "A five-year plan will see 700 people fill the building by 2023, before further growth to an eye-opening team size of 1000 by 2026." Awesome find @Avaritica, nice to finally get an explanation to the Talfor encounter's insane difficulty spike Since WorldMapEncounterComponent.EncounterLevel defaults to 1, these are most likely instances where the devs have forgotten to assign a level to the encounter altogether. Much easier to find and fix than if there were a pattern of incorrectly assigned encounter levels, I imagine. Here are all lv1 encounters with spawns, i.e. the ones that might not have the proper EncounterLevel value assigned to them:3 points
-
It is inside Worldmap.gamedatabundle. Look for "EncounterLevel"(For sealed fate, it should be at line 12363) Modding them is super easy. I tweaked the value to test and it works perfectly. I posted here because I think it would be better for big mod like Community Patch or Balance Polishing Mod to incorporate the fix, rather than me creating a small mod.3 points

I would like to organize the logs and research notes, it would make the story more straightforward I would think. I listened to the logs to put them into order and made a video listening to them. Here is the video if anyone want to listen to it, it is what is in the game so far and it took a while to get the dates to put them into this order. Right now, though, there is a gap in the storyline that isn't in the game yet, at least not obtainable in survival yet:3 points

Yes, especially because it's an ambush you can't talk yourself out of. And what leads to that encounter is all easy-peasy non-combat stuff.2 points

Samurai Champloo 15 Ninjas, robbery, conspiracy, and a fat Fuu. At a bit more than halfway through the season the pattern of Mugen getting more attention than Jin continues. It's not that I mind Mugen episodes, the show is consistently great and could work with just Mugen and Fuu, but Jin is a great character that I'd love to see more of. There are 11 episodes left so maybe Jin will get more of those.2 points

With all the different insects/critters and damage types that have been added to the game, it would be cool to have some sort of bestiary. Suggestion: Lets say the book starts out empty, and as you keep killing more and more of the same insect/critter, you unlock new entries where you can see the behavior, strengths and weaknesses of that type of insect/critter and maybe a little fun fact.1 point

for those unaware, trump keeps losing court cases, the latest o' which is dealing with the extent to which o' a President no longer in office may exercise executive privilege. ouchie. HA! Good Fun! ps am thinking is likely trump never thought he would win this or other cases, particular with the d-list attorneys he has representing him at the moment. this is all 'bout delay. IF trump is able to stretch out the process long enough for republicans to take back control o' Congress, then is a functional win for trump even if he loses every case.1 point

So last things first, I liked Beastars a lot. So much so I could overlook the CGI animation. You're in for a treat. If you can handle horny teenage anthropomorphic animals. Now for the Stardust Crusaders spoilers. Oh, and this reminds me @Sarex1 point

Oh, I also watched another episode of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. The Space Cops have apparently taken a page out of the Terran Confederation's playbook and install ability limiters in their mages (and their techno-magical devices) that can be removed in cases of emergency. Nanoha explains that to the newbies as necessary to prevent rivalries between mages and to establish a clear hierarchy, but let's be real, that's just management speak for being able to stay in control in case a powerful unit goes rogue or attempts a coup. Yeah, that's totally not going to become a major plot point later. edit: I'm sort of appreciating the thought that went into expanding the show's universe there, and it makes sense from the command's point of view, they agreed to give the three strongest (presumably) mages in the entire Space Cop force their own spec ops team to do as they see fit, so some manner of a fallback option isn't a bad idea, even if Nanoha is like the nicest girl ever, both Hayate and Fate are former antagonists. Alas, when they told the newbies that once they've gotten some combat experience they'll unlock the next power setting on their devices, one of the characters couldn't help themselves and told them they should think of this a levelling up togetherm killing immersion a bit.1 point

I really don't like it. The first and the third opening I actually always listened to. Those were nice. I'd still say that's a bit of a bigger if than you seem to think. But we'll see eventually. I don't think it'll be going anywhere in my case. I mean picking up bits and pieces through listening is one thing, actually learning the language would be quite another, never mind reading or writing. I've toyed with the idea of picking up a third language, but that's a whole lot of effort for comparatively little gain, and pretty much none for Japanese. I'd be better off learning a Slavic language, that would at least have some practical use. Not counting getting weeb street cred as worthwhile reason. There isn't even a Japanese restaurant anywhere near me. Forgot to reply to that part. I don't think there's an English subbed version of Indien, otherwise I'd be curious what you'd think about it. Nope. Not going to do that, sorry Sakura opening #3.1 point

well that must be miserable for her-- sick and alone in an er. hopefully she didn't need wait for some nightmarish stretch of time, but that is almost unavoidable. no doubt as bad as you feel you wish you could be with her, but please know your wife has our sincere sympathy and our best wishes. you also need to get better so you can take care of your son and once she comes home, your wife. as such am much wishing you well and am hoping for a speedy recovery for you and yours. regardless, take care, and try not to feel guilty about getting rest and taking care of your self.1 point

Time matters. What you typically get from the vaccine are B-cells that know how to make antibodies to fight COVID-19. When they detect the antigen, they start cranking up production so your body is immediately fighting the contagion. Without the vaccine, you don't have the machinery ready so it takes longer for the body to make the required response. Meanwhile the virus is reproducing itself exponentially.1 point

I must be in the minority here, because for the most part I appreciate a slight dusting of immunities. I think disease/poison immunity is a bit too common (not helped by the fact that some abilities and some immunities to disease/poison are hidden), and mind immunity is also similarly hidden (took me a while to realize that vessels are innately mind-immune without having an explicit immunity), but otherwise they spice up encounters and force one to have a more diverse toolkit. There's definitely an extreme that's unfun (most final fantasies i can remember most non-damage spells aren't worth using in part because enemies are arbitrarily immune to so many different things), but between D&D, pathfinder, deadfire, I haven't really seen these style of RPGs get too excessive in general (though it's up to area design to not load up a place with immunes). The problem with like infinite AR is that players may try to brute force through that, instead of going for weaknesses, and unintentionally lead to unfun grinds. I think this was something that JES cited as a move away from the DR approach - players were just sticking with their favorite weapons even if enemies had like 3000 DR.1 point

All the best Shady, hope everything ends up being fine. Wait, what? I came in contact with a breakthrough infection at work, have so far done 3 antigen tests every day since Sunday that all came back negative (PCR result still pending). I like my colleagues, but not enough to call them family. My wife got exposed to the virus through her family. For the second time now. We're currently staying at separate aparments, you know, isolation and stuff...1 point

Yeah... I think losing out on other schools is too high a price to pay for the benefits of the school subclasses. Maybe just a lowered power level with out of school spells would have been better? @Helz Aloth looked pretty nice with One Dozen Stood and the Whitewitch Mask but you're right that Effigys Husk is pretty creepy1 point

Woodskin/Form of the Delemgan is great in combination with the Lance of the Midwood Stag, too (+2 Power Level for all your spells - only when not shifted of course).1 point

Blood Sacrifice can be very painful when magnified by high might, particularly when you reach higher power levels. I'd recommend that you go for high CON but keep MIG flat, and then put the extra points in DEX, PER and RES. This works very well in my experience. Check out Not So Clever Hound's Bleeding Arcanist build for an excellent example of an ideal (IMO) set up for a single class blood mage. If you're multi classing with another class with excellent healing (say, fighter, paladin or druid) then you could probably afford to but more points in STR.1 point

JoJo episode 1-4. This is either really bad or really good, haven't made up my mind yet. The story is so absurd it's making me curious to watch more to see where it's going.1 point

I don't think it's animation style. But honestly, I don't know what it is. I can't really isolate any factor that'd cause me to take the show slower. Because Samurai Champloo is very good. Maybe it was Speedwagon or JoJo’s balls for Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency. JOESTAR-SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! ...I think I'll pass and just pretend nothing happened in Star Trek after the war with the Dominion.1 point

I believe that there should be a new refrigeration system, or possibly even something that has to do with preserving and you could use the salt that was recently added. I believe it would be a great help considering all the new recipes, you would be able to have a fridge stocked full of them being preserved, doesn’t that sound awesome?!1 point
