Hello to both new & old members of the Obsidian Order of Eternity. It was a splendid and emotional run with Kickstarter, but it was also taxing for those of us who answered and posted comments on KS all night long almost every night. With that said, I'm taking a bit of time off from the forums to catch up with the stuff I was supposed to be doing during the KS campaign. I backed this for 30$.

I second this. The money should primarily go towards making the game a complete cRPG experience. Any vanity replay cam features are secondary, and should only be considered if there's really that much extra time and money to go around.

Welcome to all new members! There will be someone from the Order (most likely Farudan) to collect all the forum titles tomorrow, after which a moderator will assign them to you. We agree to disagree here. I think we should get a word in on some hirings in general though.

Obsidian phrased it the way they did to avoid confusing anyone. Because most games on Steam require it to run, people generally see it as DRM. Obsidian is better off advertising the distribution scheme like it currently does, it's just so much simpler.

Absolutely. The Infinity Engine games didn't come with any modding tools either, but modders managed to develop them by themselves.

Good update, it should keep people checking in during the final stretch. Personally I'm looking forward to the Icewind Dale II stream with Adam.
