  1. I agree that it's a bit wonky, perhaps if the Brigadine had better bonuses against corrode and elemental damage or something like that - it would be an alternative based on it's underlying bonuses.
  2. It was packed with capable agents.. I don't think it's a huge suspension of disbelief honestly, but I guess it would make more sense to be a part of the palace and thus protected by the palace guards. Then again what you saw was the HQ like Langley, perhaps not the only building - just the one meant for the public eye, so to speak.
  3. I think Cipher yeah - but priests/paladins will get quite a few too with certain gods.
  4. Fighting the last of the Stelgars broke me out of combat, seems you might get stuck until you kill them all.
  5. I do love me some cheese sausages or a local favorite from where I'm from (haven't had it in years though, more of a winter thing) grilled/fried blood sausages.
  6. X³ perhaps? Other than that there's the subpar, but playable, Darkstar One.
  7. I went pure one hand druid with a spear, to see it's effect. I deal some ok damage, but I'm very vulnerable, so it's not a build I'll recommend if you're going for efficiency - it's not impossible though and not as weak as some would seem to suggest. It's fine for a flanking character that comes in, throws a few punches and rolls out again to do spells though.
  8. Early firearms were notoriously hard to aim, as bullets were anything but standardized. They could fire further than a bow, but it wasn't really until the 17th-18th century level technology that they were more precise. So it should be seen as effective range.
  9. 1 or 3 I imagine, but every class has their checks, lore and moment in the sun.. Play what seems the most interesting to you.
  10. Ive had a few people comment on it in Defiance Bay, someone gave me a gun too as thanks via curior.. Guess it needs to be fairly hihgh though?
  11. You got weapons for them to be used in a possible open revolt, I mean.... You don't see that as an obvious problem for the other factions? This is Skyrim'itis.. You can't both be grandmaster wizard, Thane of 12 cities and master thief. Edit: although I agree it would be nice with the option to do a double cross.
  12. Sounds like you either missed a few strings (you need the dunrow lady to initiate the quest) or a bug.. Worst case you have to use the spies, not the best solution, but better than stopping I think.
  13. Somewhat, I speak Danish, English and German and understand most French, Swedish and Norwegian... International conversations get pretty confusing
  14. A very good point - it's really well illustrated with the Paladin classes I think, you're not shoehorned into a alignment, but rather behavior.. you can play a universally loved and/or respected evil character, because you are the one bringing the motivation to the table. Not the game dictating it. Something I actually really admire the game for, it's not perfectly implemented, but it's the best I've seen in an RPG.
  15. I've been enjoying Druid myself, as something of a frontline caster. However the game does seem to favorite either tank, dps or support roles.
  16. You took the quest from the Dozens causing the others to not wanna associate with you, the one where you went for the weapons - which was pointed out to you when you accepted the quest. He said it would piss off the Knights and the Doemmenel, who doesn't like other people having something they don't. Unless of course the dozen won't associate with you either?
  17. Mine was in the treasury, so I could interact with her, she even thanked me for letting her stay.
  18. Interesting, but a little too much focus on viciously killing people for my taste.
  19. Made a rogue in my game too, she does some serious damage - I like that they are squishy but so deadly if you manouver them right.
  20. A series of strange suicides start affecting the community, at first a rise in death of drunks and teenagers are observed - but chalked up as a random occurrence, until a popular highborn noble's son offs himself and the mother follows. Then hysteria sets in, as more seemingly random deaths follows, especially among young women - there seems to be no discernible pattern at first - and soon a full blown witch hunt sets in. In an atmosphere of extreme prejudice, suspicion and fear - the player must try to peer through what is hysteria, what is simply murder (who wouldn't seize that opportunity in a medival setting?) and what is the actual cause.
  21. It's not something Obsidian has any control over. GOG has to approve the update, which means it'll be somewhat slower to reach the consumers.. And unless GOG makes an auto updater themselves you won't see one, which I highly doubt they will because then it's effectively Steam and they are pretty anti-drm.
  22. This is my experience as well, although it don't feel their talents are that much of a disaster that you have to run to them. But then, it's like that with most games I've played. The NPCs are specced towards the most common playing types, while people with different or alternative methods will find them wanting.
