She's not naive, we both know that it takes a lot more than voting to change anything and therefore also a lot more than 1 vote. But I think it's a healthy enough attitude, to want to make a change. But lets see how it goes, a new book was just published here, an extensive study of power structure in Denmark by two ph.d students, who concluded that in actuality, around 420 people yield the factual power in the country. Half of those are from the private sector and less than 18% were related to politics.

You can be as insulted as you want, your feelings have no impact on the validity of the critique. Offer me a counterpoint and I'll consider your opinion, from a discussion standpoint I couldn't really care less about how what I say makes you feel. Especially not if my critique is "you could do better, but if not I'm ok with that".

So, extrapolating from the trailer, Obsidian is being shafted cause they didn't get a 9.5 on gamespot.

That said - I don't mean it as an insult, I enjoy their games.. But I think it's a fair point of critique.

^ That's basically how I've chosen to see it as well. Or rather, that they also make virtual theme parks in established settings / IPs. And I would never demand that a Theme Park be consistent, logical or indeed intellectually challenging.

Have you played Throne of Bhaal? Remember Gromnir Il-Khan?

If they have replaced skills, I doubt they'll succeed. They don't have the best track record with trying to innovate rpg mechanics. It probably be fun enough, easy to get into etc - but not very well implemented or thought out and with very loopsided balancing.

Old thread here. .. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky .. Bit of a nitpick but StalkerCS actually does have health regen, I'm playing it at the moment and it's definitely there. It's certainly not as fast as in most fps though, would take about 5 minutes to go from ouchiepuffed to full health. It's a bit silly, but nowhere near as silly/ annoying as those asterisking grenades and every random enemy being a professional trick thrower.

Yeah same here, I can't stand micro stuttering. Its barely noticeable, but just enough to annoy the hell out of me. I'm probably gonna ask for a refund on that one. Eh, yeah that's pretty bad. If it were anyone else but Bethesda I might give 'em the benefit of the doubt. On the other hand of course, their handling of skills and levels were so shoddy that it might just be an improvement.. From ****ty to bad.... probably not though. Let's hope modder overhauls fixes that then.
