Pillars of Eternity main theme (orchestral version)
I would say that themes that come out of the gate swinging can become tiresome in later date even if you love them first, like for example I loved Dragon Age: Origins theme when I heard it first time, but know it is bit tiring. Where some themes don't impress me much when I hear them first but latter after constant hearing they become some of my favorite themes of all time, like for example Civilization 4's theme. Yup. Civ IV's theme song, Baba Yetu, is brilliant.

[435] Auto-attack - when it should and should not occur
Agreed.

Eternity 2 being talked about already
O.k. but why go for a sequel? That is what we know from the AAA studios. Sequel after sequel. If they use kickstarter again it would be nice they would throw something new into the ring. They already have atleast one other idea/property they are working on in pre-production, but whether they use Kickstarter for this or an Eternity sequel is likely dependent on the sales success of PoE. I wouldn't mind something new, but it would be shame if they didn't immediately work on expanding this franchise as the background lore of this setting is really fascinating.

Sid Meier's Starships
Moar combat! I'm liking the tactical depth shown in this demo. Very much like XCOM in space violence.

What's the expected level cap in this game?
The cap is set at level 12.

Tablets are on a decline
Me, I'd rather go back to the days when my cellphone can last 3 days before a charge rather than 3 hours.

Media Thread (Screenshots, Videos, Previews)
Discussion about what comes next for the Dungeons and Dragons spin-off franchise is already underway, he added. "We've had a ton of ideas," Urquhart said. "Obviously we could do something like Pillars of Eternity. Obviously we could do something like Neverwinter Nights 2. We're going through all of those things to figure out what would be the best thing to do. I'd of course vote for Pillars of Eternity style --isometric, party based, and tactical.

Pillars of Eternity main theme (orchestral version)
Curious if there are any vocals in the soundtrack, i.e., Gregorian style chants or background vocals?

New Engine?
IIRC, Obsidian originally was going to use their in-house Onyx Engine but ultimately made the decision to go with Unity instead due to the licensing costs for third party extensions and plug ins if they were to go the Onyx route. It would have been nice if they had gone that way as there would be less of a team-wide learning curve associated with starting from scratch with Unity. But it's all about the dollars and sense for a budget project.

Pillars of Eternity main theme (orchestral version)
It does a nice job of setting the tone. I listen to a whole playthrough of the theme before I start a new game.

Tablets are on a decline
I use my iPad for just about everything. It's my default for email and web browsing. It's my eBook reader, and most of my posts here are from its touch screen. Most of my gaming nowadays is actually on the iPad. I take it with me everywhere and by far. It's my favorite electronic device.

Who fills the rogue shoes?
I'm still of the belief that Durance will fulfill the mechanics role in the party's companion roster. He is a Priest of Magran and in the world lore, his order is known for their affinity and familiarity with firearms and bombmaking. That's my admitted assumption anyway.

TSLRCM 1.8.3B/M4-78EP 1.1B released!
Thanks HH! Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but perhaps this release version will give me the impetus to try. I remember back when Aurora first found those hidden files ten years ago and started up Team Gizka. Glad you and your team took the reins. Would you recommend going with the original disc, Steam, or GOG version for this mod? I have it on Steam and the original discs are in storage somewhere -but the disc based DRM is annoying.

No AI behavior scripts?
Once given an order to attack, party NPC's will auto attack for the rest of the combat until given alternate orders.
-
No AI behavior scripts?
I used the IE scripts only for automation of detect traps or hide in shadows. Since scouting/stealth mode applies to all party members, this feature is moot for me.

NFL 2014 Season
In a postseason sports radio interview, 49er OL Alex Boone was asked if Kaepernick had given them anything yet. Boone laughed it off and said no. Granted, the 49ers were at the top of the most sacks allowed this year...
