Wizards in Pillars of Eternity have a spell system that is similar to sorcerers in the IE games as you described. Chanters, a buffer class, have a more dynamic spell system using invocations that are triggered through the use of chants and so therefore don't have a per rest mechanic. I got dragged into a fine bookstore --under protest, mind you. Walked out with a First Edition copy of T.E .Lawrence's Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Since I gave up reading books years ago, I don't know what to do with it. I have no space for it in any of my bookshelves and it's too large, heavy, and expensive to "read" it comfortably. Any ideas or pro-tips on the actual physical techniques of reading a large heavy tome? Whatever muscle memory and skills I possessed have completely atrophied. I prefer to read on a tablet sitting up in bed, or laying down on my sides on a sofa, or sitting down on my commuter train. But now, I need adequate EXTERNAL light source and a comfortable support to uphold the actual book.

Considering that many of the storyarcs are now pretty much caught up with the books, we're going to see completely new material. This also is separate from the butterfly effect that's already taking root from changes they made in earlier seasons. I've got no problem with that. The show and the books are separate animals.

Yeah. Unfortunately Obsidian and Paradox have been quiet so far regarding production and shipping logistics. I'm optimistic that they'll let update us in February. I wouldn't be too worried about the keys though.

How widespread are "magic" items hidden in the gameworld that can only be found in scouting mode, as opposed to looted from corpses and chests?

Thing is, I'm not sure he wrote enough of those companions that he's taking ownership of them. In one of his interviews, MCA stated that he only wrote the first drafts of each but other writers picked them up and that he can't take credit for them.

The next official Kickstarter update should include details regarding the download keys. I'm also curious about the timelines of the physical rewards. I'd imagine they would have a distribution center in the US and in Europe --considering that Paradox (in Sweden) is handling these logistics.
