  1. really miss itumaak in deadfire almost every class have higher dps then poe1 but animal companion and spiritshift somehow much weaker
  2. I think rebalancing the scaling rules would be more productive. I think the problem is the scaling is stuck at bumping things up a maximum of 4 levels, so a level 8 creature bumps up to a maximum of 12. If the maximum scaling was something like 9 then that level 8 can now go as high as 17, preserving some of the difficulty all the way to level 20. Both the XP gain rate and level scaling cap are issues fixed by the Deadly Deadfire mod. I highly recommend it. level scaling and ptod should also stop give ar and pen buff to ai it just doesn't make sense maybe give them better equipment and replace them with higher level version
  3. stormspeaker was a very interesting idea and a awful subclass really like stormspeaker in the setting hope it will get some improvement before the last patch
  4. finally beat all megaboss on classic will never try it on potd with a chanter can endlessly summon are really important
  5. gods can get essence from anywhere and give essence away easily but without reincarnation then essence will stop growing from what little know about soul essence it looks like a bio energy that can grow through lifespan
  6. engwithan and than the gods assumed total control of reincarnation it is only reasonable to assume it will not go back what it was when broken more likely stay broken until someone fix it
  7. tried a berserker and streetfighter die very fast with some good dps maybe use blackjacket will help with the survival ability
  8. remember the fampyr in od nua? it was long before creation of gods
  9. no idea how to kill the massive ooze don't have enough stun or paralyze to keep them apart
  10. Ish. Llengrath leaving is causing a lot of issues, so I'm looking to adjust that in our next patch. It's a big change, though, so I'm being careful with it. Regardless, there should be some solution in the next update. Is there a slide associated with the godseed business, or is it just like Tayn (i.e., hand in, get reward)? Also, is full ending slide narration planned? Thanks. three ending slide about it but trigger the quest require player either make a shady option and give llengrath modified version of tome or kill all the collection
  11. 4.0 definitely have some performance issue game start and load first save take three times longer than before and crush in one new play through more than all others combine
  12. thousand cut doesn't count for the soulbound wand too not sure it was a bug or not
  13. never understand why anyone want higher level 20 are clearly the best number to end with
  14. there are classes? always assume it will be like fallout just pick whatever skill
  15. But how would you swap them with Porokoa when his fight comes after the part where you talk to Whehami? If you want Muatu to become the Faces, then you need to empower him before talking to Whehami. If you want the Porokoa to become the Faces, you need Whehami's axe/to be the Champion of the Slayer. Though, in either case the outcome is quite bad (random corpses). Thanks. I did Seeker instead. Does that mean for things to just continue as they are you need to talk down Whehami rather than fight him? You can fight Whehami and the outcome will be reasonably decent. I've never managed to talk him down, because of the requirements (to be his chosen and to have Intimidate 16, maybe something else), so not sure, if it changes much. There was another thread about endings for SSS with more information (https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/106399-seeker-slayer-survivor-ending-question-spoiler/). Yeah I read that thread before posting this one, but they don't actually say if the ending is any different that way. Did you get: The Faces of the Hunt continue to rule the Crucible in Galawain's or rather Toamowhai's name... Also trying to figure out if it changes anything if you sacrifice the souls to the crucible. Yes, I got that ending. I guess (haven't checked), if you didn't destroy Cignath Mor (the underwater facility) and sacrificed the souls to the Crucible, Galawain is less hostile (?). before fight crocodile the galawain talk have two version one is more angry one is less and say the connection with arena has restored but not the same latter can be triggered by deal with the faces more peacefully such as convince slayer to give up give essence to the island seems to have no effect other than +2 accuracy
  16. pirates have fun and indeed are interestingly written which was surprisingly hard base on other pirate theme game hope all the effort put in vailian will pay off if poe3 are set in old vailia
  17. There are checks that go over 16, but I get the idea not for skill check but total 16 for +6 party support main character need 18 or 20 with party support for some check
  18. everyone need a few athletics and alchemy one arcana 15 use the scroll the companion passive total 16 in each one will be enough
  19. the three pirate ship appear near the starting island only give few loot and no equipment after boarding fight
  20. So do you mean complete her quest and then after joining the Principi don't talk to her again? don't complete her quest will be simpler
  21. don't talk to her at all will get the good ending don't convince her to stay after complete her quest will avoid dishonorable discharge ending
