Vela is a druggie.
InsaneCommander replied to Jazhara7's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)That’s a prostitute, you dirty old man. Wait, what? I didn't know that. I guess my character is playing around when I'm not looking. The "vendor" does say that she loves a returning customer.

Only one Vailian Hullbreaker?
InsaneCommander replied to Teukros's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I don't know if there are any shipwrecks left. And I didn't board their ships. I'll be more careful on my next pt.

World Cup 2018
The var referees didn't see that step on the ankle. What were they doing, playing Deadfire?

Josh Sawyer's tweets and teasers, part IV
InsaneCommander replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)So, Eder caught three penalties today. Does that mean they are nerfing vigorous defence?

Only one Vailian Hullbreaker?
InsaneCommander replied to Teukros's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I never found more Vailian Hulbreakers. I already cleaned the map except for those ships you are talking about. I understand what you are talking about (range) but I wanted to try the Vailian Hulbreakers against them.

Vela is a druggie.
InsaneCommander replied to Jazhara7's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)You can buy sugar in Dunnage (a vendor near the entrance of Radiant Court).

Quest Order
InsaneCommander replied to Epixia's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)I agree. I avoided the main quest and did a lot of exploration first and it did look strange. Sometimes I found things that didn't make sense or caused bugs (like the rotten eel for the guy who swallowed a pearl). For my next pt I'll get the companions asap and then follow the quests. Why is almost everyone suggesting getting Tekehu after going to the palace? Isn't there some interesting reaction when taking him there?

Are the Companions Really THAT Bland?
InsaneCommander replied to Cyrus_Blackfeather's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Some people react just like that. No matter how they are treated they continue to love someone. Others will be fanatic to an ideology regardless of any evidence you give them. That said, I wouldn't expect Pallegina to be one of them.

Maia Relationship start
InsaneCommander replied to AeonsLegend's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Especially Serafen, because he is a cipher and might not play Orlan's head.

That TV Topic
Don't do it. As you can see in the final episode of this season, whatever comes next is totally new. So let yourself enjoy it fully when the show comes back. Unless you want to read book 4. If you started the books in any other book, coming from the tv show, there would be some inconsistencies, but going from season 3 to book 4 might actually work pretty well.

Keep an eye out for dem shifters now...
I really would like to try a Berserker/Shifter. Is there an item that cancels the confusion status (the sword won't work ofc).

Do I have to murder Spindle Man to get a Vithrack Brain?
InsaneCommander replied to CENIC's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)The Spindle Man said he would sell me better stuff if I killed the other merchant. Is it anything useful? Or can I just kill him. I've already stole what I wanted from his shop.

MOD request - Remove level cap for multiclass
InsaneCommander replied to no1fanboy's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I'll leave some suggestions here, instead of creating a similar thread: - Animal hirelings, so you can play "solo" as a ranger and have more companions. Or have them even if you are not a Ranger. I really don't know if it can be done. - Increase the number of Vailian Hullbreakers to 2 or 4, so that we can have an entire side of the ship with them

is PotD tuned yet?
InsaneCommander replied to shadow85's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)In PoE1 (even on my third PT) I always kept at least 30 of each ingredient. Except for the more expensive, of course. I wanted to be on the safe side in case I needed some scrolls or food in the Endless Path or who knows where. Even so, I finished the game with near 200.000 copper. In Deadfire I'm avoiding that. I check the ingredients for the most interesting items and buy some of them. And that's it. Btw, I once read somewhere in these forums that pyrite and sugar where pretty rare. Is it still the case? Because I have plenty of pyrite (even found some pickpocketing) and you can buy sugar in Dunnage.

Portraits IV
InsaneCommander replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Thanks! I've done some, but I'm not very good at it. I'll try your method later.

Portraits IV
InsaneCommander replied to Amentep's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I'll leave this one here in case somebody more skilled than me wants to make a watercolor version. If no one does it, I'll give it a try (to this one and the ones above).

Maia Relationship start
InsaneCommander replied to AeonsLegend's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)I thought this had been fixed. In my game I picked Tekehu and he came at me really fast too. I think the devs created monsters. No matter what they do to fix it, the companions still act like rabid nymphomaniacs.

Stuck on Principi (Talfor) encounter in Neketaka on PotD
InsaneCommander replied to AeonsLegend's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)The same thing happened to me. I got stuck in Neketaka and did some quests to level up. Maybe acquire another figurine, I don't remember very well. And once I could defeat them I reloaded and solved it pacifically anyway because I wanted the reputation with the Principi

That TV Topic
It is. And next season will be really good, if it follows what they've been doing so far, that is, finish a book and go halfway through another. I liked it a lot. More than everyone I've discussed it with.

What did you name your ship?
InsaneCommander replied to hamskii's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)I think I'll use Magranite Inquisition when I play as a Fire Godlike/Magran priest.

World Cup 2018
Do you wanna know who will be the champion? Then "fix" the symmetry of World Champions centered in 1982. If you move one World Cup later or one earlier from that year, you'll find the same country as champion. Except in 1966/1998 and after 2002. But who knows, maybe there is a pattern. 1982 - Italy 1978, 1986 - Argentina 1974, 1990 - Germany 1970, 1994 - Brazil 1966, 1998 - England/France (1st time winning, they were the home country) 1962, 2002 - Brazil 1958, 2006 - Brazil/Italy (any relation?) 1954, 2010 - Germany/Spain (1st time winning) 1950, 2014 - Uruguay/Germany (They both defeated the home team, Brazil) 1938, 2018 - Italy/??? 1934 - Italy 1930 - Uruguay It's just a coincidence, of course. If you look hard enough you'll find something, as complicated as it may be. But I first saw this before 2002, iirc, and it was almost perfect back then. Here is my guess: Italy won in 1938, one World Cup after being the home country (in 1934). So, since in 2014 Brazil was the home country, it wins in 2018? I hope so, but I don't think the team is doing well this year.

The Hollowborn Crisis
InsaneCommander replied to Hawke64's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Oh, makes sense. Good to know.

The Hollowborn Crisis
InsaneCommander replied to Hawke64's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)When I load my PoE1 save that ended with returning the souls to the wheel, I can choose a different end. Or at least I can tell Berath and she believes it, because I kept my vow but told her that I didn't. So, does the game allow us to change our mind? Or is this a bug and it is not reflected later?
