Did i just accidentally trigger the end-game?
InsaneCommander replied to ziphnor's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)The same happened with me and I think it is a bug (I saw something like this reported in the other section). If you check the map there

Party Support Chanter: Single or MC?
Having two chanters looks like a good idea. On my next playthrough I'll have Pallegina and my watcher will be a priest of Berath/Chanter. A pity Beckoner is garbage now, I guess he will be a normal chanter or troubadour.

Critique nr. two. Short dungeons.
InsaneCommander replied to Walkyr's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)We need dungeons like the very first one in PoE1: you enter and the entrance collapses. You don't know how big it is and if you couldn't rest things would get interesting.

Did you ever feel like there was too little combat in Deadfire?
InsaneCommander replied to Heijoushin's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)For those who think there is too much combat, check the thread below about avoiding combat. Somebody reached level 19 barely doing any fighting. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/103025-guide-grow-strong-before-fighting-anything/

Plucked Fruit...WHAT?
InsaneCommander replied to Ildun's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)At least it will benefit corpse eaters, if they ever include fishing.
- Is it just me or is the corpse-eater subclass awful?

Losing level 1 skill upon retraining.
InsaneCommander replied to dbarbarian14's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)Respec ruined Tekehu. He doesn't sing anymore, even though he now has over a dozen chants.

Beast of Winter DLC Announcement
InsaneCommander replied to Infinitron's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)If we play the expansion during the normal game, we will level up. I will do all the quests in my first pt, but if there is too much experience, I'll simply roleplay my way out of certain quests on subsequent pts. Maybe I'll kill pirates on sight for example. The Rymrgand priest will be interesting, even if it needs a mod to be used by the player.

Plucked Fruit...WHAT?
InsaneCommander replied to Ildun's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)My current Watcher was happy with the 400 copper. Nothing else mattered after that.

Quick Question Regarding White that Wends Naming Conventions?
InsaneCommander replied to Cyrus_Blackfeather's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)In the latest stream they showed some of the new DLC and "Gòtvadhjur" is a greeting. Also: rymsjódda = frost shield. So I assume rym = frost, considering that this term also appears in Rymrgand.

Vela is a druggie.

Beast of Winter DLC Announcement
InsaneCommander replied to Infinitron's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)"The locals call you Duskspeaker - they’ve seen the way death follows in your wake, and they’re really into it." Great, more people that want to get in the Watcher's pants!

Plucked Fruit...WHAT?
InsaneCommander replied to Ildun's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Despite they lack of options, I actually liked this quest. It's not easy for me to decide what to do. A good character would help the innocent but the village would lose the food. They could add some interesting options: - You say you were sent by the Vailians and sell overpriced fruit (or other food) to the chieftain. He would smile and claim it was a good deal - You could try asking Berath if they need to eat the seeds in the ritual. Regardless of getting any answer in this insignificant matter, maybe you could do some trick with souls by yourself and convince them to change the ritual, keeping the seeds to make more fruits - And there is also that unused kith meat in the inventory...

What Would Be Some Good PoE1 Choices for a Pro-Rauatai PoE2 Character?
InsaneCommander replied to Cyrus_Blackfeather's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)They deserve that. And they don't deserve Pallegina.

POLL - Where would you like to travel if PoE saga continues
InsaneCommander replied to juanval's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Or my suggestion in the other thread: PoE3: Gorecci District. At least one criticism of PoE2 would be gone...

Quick Question Regarding White that Wends Naming Conventions?
InsaneCommander replied to Cyrus_Blackfeather's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)Is anyone seeing something different here? We don't have many terms in the cyclopedia, so I'd like to know this one.

That TV Topic
Yes, the 4th season was even better than the third. I liked the first one because, as far as I could tell, there were no serious inconsistencies. But it's time travel, so who knows... And then it just got better over time.
