First of all, trying to lecture me about what is good or not for my country, and what might happen or not, with minuscule knowledge of our political history since 1993, is as silly as me trying to lecture you about how should your country develop your current ties with China and Australia, or as silly as your remarks in 2022, how Russia would never invade Ukraine, but sure I’ll bite this time You are forgetting few things, Europe has done absolutely nothing, when green men went into Donbass and Crimea. Fico is a **** who actively attacks western allies, and every western leader knows how big of a **** and coward he is. And Putin with Orban knows that very good as well. So if we “wisely” would leave NATO, and he started to beg for help after being invaded, there is a pretty big chance, that they would tell him in a most polite way to **** Off. Also, the Slovak National Party leaders, are actively sucking on Orban’s ****. Considering corrupt and how a big of a coward is their chairman (he was hiding from police, after he crushed one traffic light during a night ride, and is still avoiding responsibility for this), they would sell the south of the country without a second thought. And even if every single person in my country would want tomleave NATO, it still does not mean, that it is not the most stupid idea under the sun, given the current circumstances, as it is as clear as a diamond, that if Hungary would send green men to Slovakia during ongoing Russian invasion, no one would give a priority to go help and waste limited resources on a country, which show time and time again, that it’s leaders do not want to be a part of Europe, over continuous help to Ukraine. It is pretty much given, that in such scenario EU would decide to first finish up Russia in Ukraine, and only after then, they would deal with Hungary from position of power. Oh and BTW, I am half Slovak, half Hungarian2 points

I grew to really like Midnight Suns. I played for 120 hours before I finished it. It felt like living with a bunch of superheroes. The combat became more varied when I switched up my team every fight, and the advice I got here helped. I found the writing to be very good and appreciated the depth in the characters from the comics. I also finished Brutal Legend for the first time. Amazing art, design, and music. I got stuck in the same RTS battle as 15 years ago, but this time I looked up what I was doing wrong. I did not know that I could upgrade my soldiers Also, needed to find more guitar solos, so I turned my hotrod around and played all the map missions. Combat driving through Heavy Metal world with headphones is an adrenaline rush!2 points

https://www.fanatical.com/en/pick-and-mix/build-your-own-rpg-bundle The price is suspiciously affordable, but Fanatical is a well-known platform and (most of) the games in the bundle are good. Except Mortal Shell, but for this price, it is adequate. I will probably get the OST/DLC for the ones I like.1 point

Pasta carbonara. I used guanciale for the meat. I also made anchovy bread crumbs with some panko and anchovy paste. Mixed it up and toasted it and sprinkled it on top with a small dollop of chopped calabrian chili and a couple of cranks on the black pepper grinder.1 point

Frieren 26 The second test is over. Frieren and Fern defeat Frieren's copy, Ubel cut Sense's clone to shreds and the others are saved at the last moment (after finding resurrected copies) when the demon is destroyed. Lawine had to give up, which gives me the impression Kanne won't make it. But if she succeeds, then they will never stop fighting. Despite the result, some things will never change: The episode ended with a strange scene. A guy that I don't remember seeing before appeared being cared by a golem and Richter asks something like "Wait, who are you?"1 point

But I'm not asking for them to be full-blown companions, as you suggest. I simply don't want to have to share them with/have them be used by some online stranger.1 point

RIP. I remember first reading about Toriyama in Manga! Manga! The World of Japanese Comics. He was then mostly known in 1983 when it was published for "Dr. Slump" and was just starting out. I think the entry might have mentioned him launching Dragonball in passing as it would have launched the same year Manga! Manga! did. So imagine my surprise years later to see the popularity of DragonBall and his character designs in video games when they started hitting here not knowing what a phenom he'd become.1 point

Void Stranger. I got a couple of hours into this puzzle game and was like "whew, that sure was a lot of puzzles...just how long is this game, anyways?". Oh, just somewhere between 20 and 65 hours - you know, depending on just how much you hate yourself and really want to see all the story bits hidden behind having to do everything absolutely perfectly. No, I don't think I will.1 point

MLB The Show is letting you create female players for the Road to the Show mode. Which, in hindsight, kind of makes you wonder what took so long. I'm sure I'll get some entertainment from dumb people arguing about realism in a video game that lets you beat every MLB record in the books.1 point

A tough question The girls definitely makes for more pleasant company than the drunk priest and their infighting stops the very moment the party faces an external threat (and they seem very good at teamwork). On the other hand, for those occasions where you get bitten by a snake and want to prevent your brain from melting and flowing out through your nose (as almost happened to Stark in a previous episode), a priest can be quite handy No idea if a season 2 will be made, but the manga seems to have enough material for at least a second 28 episode season1 point

I liked the intro in Saints Row. I like the player character trying to keep an honest job as a Merc and get a paycheck. Yeah, it aims at a different audience, but I realised I am this audience as well I found the jailbreak intro of SR2 the most powerful, but the reimagined SR's the most enjoyable. The bank robbery in SR3 I found annoying and nearly quit playing because of it.1 point

Your post doesn't make a lot of Sense to me Jojobobo, you say people who vote no are not affected since they do not solo, which is clearly not true in my case. I'm fairly certain I'm not the only one. I also explained above why I voted no. The cipher is already very strong solo AND in parties, strengthening him in any way will just make party play even more ridicolous and as pointed out before the actual op spells in solo already work and are not the ones who only work on allies. At the end of the day an unbalanced game loses replay value and for people who think it is too hard there are always difficulties below PotD.1 point
-
Well the cipher does a lot more damage without spells than both wizard and priest, which is quite a fair point in soloing if you don't enjoy to spam rest. Also as Boroer pointet out the mind control is just crazy strong even the level 1 power never loses it's charm, if you'll excuse the pun.1 point
-
It seems to me Self buffing is not what defines a Cipher. The change to do so would only heighten their power. Definitely not necessary. Their current state of power is already at a Rockstar level. Every time I include a Cipher in my party I get bored as they glide through the game with ease. Now a Difficulty option for Soloing only powers to be enabled would be cool, kind of like the tougher content they added with the WM expansions, but no way that happens this late in the game. That is a futile exercise in wishful thinking.1 point
-
I voted it works fine. That being said you and Boroer are absolutely right, there is no balancing reason for those spells being allied only. It's just not good game balance to make a character more powerful for solo, especially since the cipher can solo already, when I soloed the first time which was my 2nd overall playthrough btw I used a cipher. You might not be able to do some of the upscaled content solo, but it's optional anyway. A game like this should be focused on parties and frankly I think it's way too easy for full parties, even for half parties it doesn't feel challenging at all. (I assume the same goes for duos.)1 point

A co-worker from a different department brought her laptop that wouldn't charge its battery anymore to a local PC repair shop, and they went and changed its operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 without asking her, and it FUBAR-ed her operating system, e.g. wi-fi doesn't work anymore, browser crashes upon opening every time, start menu doesn't open at all, random blue screens, etc. They didn't bother to test anything before handing it back to her, and they didn't fix the charging issue anyways. She tried a system repair, the ol' always-recommended-yet-always-pointless SFC repair, not doing it. She also just, like, didn't want Windows 11. I think she can maybe do a complete rollback to Windows 10, if she can figure out how - not something I've ever personally done myself, to be honest. Could maybe also try uninstalling her old system drivers and re-installing versions for Windows 11 to see if that fixes the worst problems, but it sounded like the issues were too severe and widespread for it to be worth the bother. I'd be pretty apoplectic if somebody ever tried to pull a stunt like this on me...but uh, I guess that's why I handle my own affairs: if something ever goes wrong, I can only blame myself, .0 points

Performance of the game is actually pretty good. The issue is most likely with badly optimized mods and missions. Some very popular mods on the workshop are so incredibly ****, it makes my blood boil whenever I see them mentioned. There is stuff like no low-level LODs, and first LOD of a simple rifle optic has 40k polys... This **** adds up and ruins performance for everyone.0 points

Avatar: The Last Airbender (Netflix), episode 1. Unlike Hazbin Hotel, I wasn't excited for this one, because I knew it was going to be awful...but I have to admit, I vastly underestimated just how awful it would be. I sat through this with my nieces (who love the original cartoon, we've watched all of it multiple times together over the last few years) and conspired to stay very neutral during this so that I would not ruin it for them in the event that they liked it. I was very mindful, for their sake...honestly, I really was, and so it warmed the deepest, darkest corners of my twisted heart that I was not alone in hating it. I'm proud of them, they're good kids.0 points
