Hello! I guess you knew that when you use the Dire Talon (sabre) and enchant it with Wurm Call you will have a 20% chance on crit to summon 3 wurms? Did you also know that if those wurms die they will leave a body hat only disappears after combat ends - unlike the summons that you gain from your abilities (that includes summons from items that give you an active summoning ability like a Whale of a Wand's Fantastic Friends - they will disappear on being killed and leave no body)? I surely didn't. But those wurms' bodies will stay. And wurms are beats... That means that you can consume the body with Flesh Communion. All Corpse Eaters: This can help your Corpse Eater to use their Flesh Communion in every fight - you "only" need to crit often enough and then get a wurm killed. You can do so yourself by attacking it with the weapon itself (there's a chance that you crit and summon another bunch of wurms and so on - there's no hard cap on how many wurms can be on the screen) or by using some friendly-fire spell like Shadowflame or whatever. If you crit a lot (hello Swift Flurry/HBD) you can summon a lot of wurms - and some might end up dead even without your interference because they are just weak. The bodies will be there until combat ends. So nothing speaks against piling up some wurm bodies for later in the fight. Of course this doesn't have to be done by one and the same character. You just need somebody in the party who will crit a lot with Dire Talon in order to prepare a rather monothematic Corpse Eater buffet. I then also tried it with Hel Beckoning (summon Hel Imp on killing spirit) - and this also leaves the body of the imp when he gets killed. But alas: it doesn't work for Flesh Communion. I forgot that Imps are not wilders - they are primordials. And since Flesh Communion only works in kith, wilder and beasts... Off to Essence Interrupter you say? Right! It works, too: If you crit and then kill any enemy and let's say a Xaurip gets summoned (and then killed) - you can consume its body. Same with Ogre Pirates. Unfortunately there's several summons with Essence Interrupter that are neither wilder nor beast (oozes, guls etc.) - so it's not very reliable. Also some of the summons take some time to kill compared to the very weak wurms that Dire Talon gives you. And some summons don't leave a body when killed - like the Boars wouldn't do that for me for example. But still... it can work. I didn't find another suitable item for this interaction - maybe you know one. Anyway - with this you can make the Corpse Eater better in long fights that usually don't have "food" for him. Bringing your own targets for deliverering crits will make it easier (for example Many Lives Skeletons). Don't know yet if it's worth it though - or if it's too fiddly. We'll see...1 point

Rerollitis got me so I started a new game as a sniper this time. I'm just about to leave the second system which is when the game begins to open up and you can fly around exploring systems. I did things in a different order this time and it does play a bit differently. Not anything super huge but I wasn't really expecting it at all so it was a nice surprise.1 point

I think I found a way to identify which lines are banters by looking at the corresponding conversation bundle files. For example, for this stringtable: exported\localized\en\text\conversations\03_neketaka_vailian_district\03_cv_abocco.stringtable you would look at this conversation bundle: exported\design\conversations\03_neketaka_vailian_district\03_cv_abocco.conversationbundle In the conversation bundles, the NodeIDs correspond to the IDs in the stringtables and will have either a "DisplayType": 1 or "DisplayType": 2. Based on what I've seen, I'm pretty sure "Displaytype": 2 means it's dialogue that appears above the head. Not exactly a fast method searching through every conversation bundle then removing edits to the stringtables when needed but at least I have a way of identifying them now. Thanks for letting me know. It looks like OP wanted this done for German language but I'm only focusing on English for now. I wouldn't mind doing them for all the available languages eventually though.1 point

link is to the doj original appeal o' judge cannon's appointment o' the special master to review materials taken by the fbi as part o' their mar-a-lago search. if you wanna read the unsealed indictment, https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/read-the-full-trump-indictment-on-mishandling-of-classified-documents gotta admit we were a smidge confused by the 18 U.S. Code ยง 1512 charges being included 'cause the section relates to witness tampering. is so rare one need consider the possibility o' a defendant's attorney being a witness in a case against the defendant that it didn't initial register for us when we saw sections listed. counts 32-34 involve trump and nauta efforts to affect "trump attorney 1" representations to the feds, and am gonna assume for the nonce corcoran is attorney 1. aside, were pleased to see the following: couple hours following our previous post. HA! Good Fun!1 point

Let's just say the first two episodes ease you in for the third one. I cannot speak to that as I am not familiar with the politics in California, apart from some Joe Rogan whining, but the whole episode had that familiar stink to it.1 point

The doc is pure propaganda. Glosses across everything bad and a little bit too much of blowing his own horn. The first 2 episodes were fun, the last one not so much.1 point

I tried this out and it was a huge improvement. I played this last year on the steam deck and as you can imagine the text is quite small there. Wish I had knew about this then. I was thinking of uploading this as a mod to help out others. I hope you're okay with that? I'll be sure to leave credit of course. There is one problem though and it is the one you mentioned. I only wanted to increase the font size in dialogue but end up increasing the font size in banters and scripted interactions too. Do you know if there is an easy way to differentiate them in the files? It seemed as if the file names gave some indication of the type. File names with "bs_" seem to be banters, "si_" scripted interactions and "cv_" for conversations but there can be lines of banter inside of conversation files(from what I can tell this happens with named npcs) and in the example you used with the Pallid Knight, that file is named "si_" despite being a conversation in a dialogue box. The usher you meet in the prologue also has the file name "21_bs_usher" despite also being a conversation in a dialogue box. I'm hoping the prologue is just some kind of weird exception, but even disregarding those two, the issue is with banters inside of cv_ files as those are harder to narrow down. I guess it isn't that big of a deal but I would have preferred to have left the banters unmodified if possible. I couldn't find the thread you were referring to. Is someone already working on larger font mod? If not, I can try to upload mine later.1 point

To make this thread worthwhile: actual news! So yeah, there won't be physical editions, plus please feel free to cancel your pre-orders and here are 5 screenshots, three of which are in generic alleys/ sewers. I guess the one with the tree looks kind of interesting, though it looks more like something from the unannounced Thief: tDP remake. Anyway, please check back in September!0 points
