I'm playing Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is Downloading and the Bandwith is Crap.  Why is This Downloading So Slowly?  Grrr! - The Game.  It's a pretty frustrating game.

The Last Guardian.

If you liked Shadow of the Colossus or ICO you will love this. Framerate is all over the place and the movement is just as clunky as its predecessors but the art and the narrative is just one of a kind.

This might just be my GOTY 2016.

Yeah, I got TLG today, but I'm still finishing up Steins;Gate 0. And I'm loving 0 so very much.

I want to play FFXV before that, too.

Edit: Then there's the Rogue One DLC for Battlefront. An embarrassment of riches, I tell you.

Farcry 4. Sometimes I wonder if Ubisoft just loves to torment players with the long ass cutscenes.

Is it unskippable?  Cutscenes that can't be skipped should be outlawed.

So far Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is exactly what I wanted; it's Commandos in Japan with ninjas and samurai.  Who wouldn't want that?  For now I'm playing on normal difficulty and not trying to do anything special besides not killing any civilians.  These types of games are hard so I'm just trying to get through the levels.  Once I beat the game I may try hardcore difficulty and doing some of the challenges, like kill no one except mission targets, or never use any bushes for cover.

I just finished another BG play through with a Cavelier. So I'm in between games right now, not sure what I want to play. I'm always torn between replaying an older game or trying a new one. I feel a freedom between games.

Im open to recommendations, I like rpgs of course, and survival horror. Does anyone have any experience with Drankensang?

Why does a chair have arms and legs like a man, but can't walk or hold things?

Seriously, companion in Skyrim, can you just STOP walking right in front of me when I'm lining up a shot with my bow?  It's almost like you're going out of your way to block my target, because when I move over to adjust my aim to avoid hitting you, you move in the exact same direction!

I can't even begin to count the number of "critical hits" I've landed on my own companion because they don't have the sense to not stand directly in my line of fire.

I played Drakensang long time ago. I have kind of liked it, but I was confused with rules. So I have never finished the game. I have probably picked the wrong skills, so the fights became to tough for me.

On the other hand, I used to use Lydia to get a perfect backstab on people, because I wasn't quite good enough to sneak up on them, but I was good enough to hide in the one spot while they rushed past me at the lady in platemail trying to sneak around.

I have finished blind walkthrough of Tales of Zestiria. The final bossfight was kind of interesting, but It was pure Gear Check. Because I have not spent much time with gear grind, I had to go through few Retries. In the end, I was able to beat him after 45 minutes of trying, where I have put the best DPS gear on my party and used All-divide item, so my party would not end up one shotted.

I have really enjoyed this game. It took me over 122 hours, but the funny thing is, that this game counts even time in menus when you adjust your gear and skills. To my surprise, I have spent over 40 hours of the game doing that lol... Still, I love that game and I am eager to go for the Alishia DLC Chapter :)

Neverwinter Nights 2, just suddenly had an urge to replay the OC, i still stand by my statement of the game being staggeringly pretty, especially when compared to the truly hideous first game.

Edit: Well second game to be accurate.

Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.

I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin.

Bloom is a bit overdone I think, but it is extremely pretty. It also made my GTX 570 scream in agony. Thankfully 970 overpowers the game enough that I can play it without feeling like flying a helicopter.

My urge to play Farcry 4 stopped quite suddenly when we realized that you can't play through the story in co-op mode. What kinda modern game has co-op mode but doesn't support story mode in said co-op mode? Needless to say we were both quite pissed off once we realized that Ubi ****ed us over.

I hear Trump has changed his mind on waterboarding, being forced to play NWN2 OC non stop may be more effective.

Finished the 3rd mission in Shadow Tactics.  It took me 1 hour and 48 minutes to complete the mission while there's a challenge to do it in under 15 minutes.  Granted, I spent a lot of time scouting around, rotating the camera, devising a plan, then failing several times to execute said plan until I got the timing down just right.  I suppose someone who had the level memorized and didn't suck at video games as much as I do could conceivably finish the level in under 15 minutes.

So, I have finished a delivery from Toulouse to Linkoping. Took like 40 hours, I visited a whole bunch of cities along the way, and saw pretty France, not so pretty Germany and pretty Sweden. I am very happy about all of these things. I think I can buy a new truck now.

rotating the camera

When I played the demo, that aspect was what irked me the most. I would have vastly preferred the game to feature a fixed isometric view.

I'm of the completely opposite mind.  I very much appreciate being able to freely rotate the camera to get a better look at things.

Not as effective as being forced to play the NWN1 OC. I never even managed that once...

Anyway, played through the "Blood Ties" DLC for Rise of the Tomb raider. I thought it was pretty good, probably beat all the character development in the rest of the two reboots combined. The ending was kinda scary though, Lara is going to make the Croft name "great again" (not even making that up).

Started the Dawnguard DLC for Skyrim.  I never bothered with it the first time around so this is a new experience for me.  The companion sucks, though.  Seems every fight we get into, she'll toss a couple of spells before bowing out of the fight in no time.

I actually had a very favourable view of the OC myself, though of course it serves as a set-up for the absolutely incredible MotB.

When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete."

It's not that it is a bad mechanic, but I never liked that in later Commandos games.

But while we're at it, let me quickly do some shameless self-promotion again. :>
