ShadySands Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 NBA2k15 My PG just won the championship in his rookie year and is now getting offers from almost every other team out there. Do I stick with the Jazz who mostly suck without me or do I move on? Strangely enough the team offering me the most money(VC) and the longest contract (4 years when everyone else is offering 3) is Oklahoma but I'm not sure what will happen with Westbrook if I go there. I'd be weird to split time between us since they are promising me too many minutes but maybe they plan on moving him to the 2 spot or just trading him. They could try to play me at the 2 but I'm a bit undersized and not really willing to make that move. Second best offer is from the Heat but I don't think so, still tainted. Third best is my current team but not sure I want to stay after all the plot related drama (for those that don't know, you start the game undrafted and with a 10 day contract around the middle of the season). I've been pondering this for 3 days now 1 Free games updated 3/4/21
marelooke Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) I've tried the System Shock demo. It's pretty cool actually, though making useables more noticeable would be nice. I got stuck after the machine room, with the missing circuitry and I barely found that, then spent five minutes looking for the missing piece, fruitlessly. Yeah, it's kinda...unclear. You actually don't need a missing piece, you need to draw lines to connect the circuit (think of the minigame in Bioshock where you need to make water flow to the other end). Playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen now and quite enjoying it so far, though I guess all the hiking back and forth will get old before long... Edited July 4, 2016 by marelooke 1
Ganrich Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 A second sixteen-hour straight session of PoE, White March. Music is so good. The soundtrack is probably my favorite part of the game. I really enjoyed PoE as well. I've said it before (a few times, honestly), and I will say it again, Justin Bell hit a home run with the music in PoE. 2
WDeranged Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Got Doom in the sale...it's great. As much as I've been badmouthing Bethesda for their dumbing down of Fallout, I have to give it to them for pushing id to make a real doom game. It was originally going to be yet another brown military shooter... 3
Vaeliorin Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Playing Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen now and quite enjoying it so far, though I guess all the hiking back and forth will get old before long... Same. Picked it up along with Dark Souls II at the end of the Steam sale. I wouldn't mind the hiking if the outside walking speed was the same as it is in towns, and if there were less freaking wolves. I feel like I'm too high level or something, though. I'm like level 14 or 15 and I'm getting prompts saying when I hit level 10 I can change vocations (which I already did when I was level 10...)
Labadal Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 I'm still going strong in Satellite Reign. Played it for almost 30 hours. I like it but I am ready for it to be over soon. 1
redneckdevil Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Stoned and playing jazzpunk. Such an awesome game
Fenixp Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Damn, I just finished Doom on Nightmare. What am I going to do with my life now? ... Oh right, I'm supposed to have a wife or something.
ShadySands Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Signed with the Thunder and of course they put me in the 2 spot. Wishing I stayed with the Jazz. Oh well, if things don't work out I'll demand a trade Free games updated 3/4/21
SadExchange Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Picked up Doom on the ps4 and will probably find it hard to play any game after that solely based off the reasoning that it's been quite a long time that I've seen a game run at 60 fps. Lol. Played through the first level and really enjoying the vibe from it. Also very interested in a bunch of snap maps ice read about.
Tale Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Back to PoE for me. Now that the plot has congealed and I see where it's going, I like it more. Still wish the companions were more interesting. Durance is good and 'Iselmyr' needs to interact more. I guess the low budget's to blame here. Even Baldur's Gate just had weird throwaway companions to stumble upon and be interesting, even if they end up fighting the other half of the party within an hour of gameplay. I'm really liking Cipher. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
SadExchange Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Picked up Doom on the ps4 How does it play on a pad? Fine so far. I like the fact that you can up the FOV to to 110 I believe if you want, which I do, but controls feel nice and move. The whole game in general feels smooth keeping at 60 fps, which is superb for the PS4 where nearly no games can come close to and I don't believe they gave up a lot graphically because of it.

Made it to level 27 and got a bunch of prompts about quest basics... (that I'd seen before to boot), I think the tutorial stuff is kinda buggy I only changed vocation once I maxed out my initial one (which was Fighter) quite a few skills seem to carry over to the Mystic Knight one, which is cool. As to the endless amounts of wolves: during one night when I was headed to the Witchwood I must've killed a pack of 40 of the things. They just kept spawning to the point where it was getting truly and utterly ridiculous and I ended up just making a beeline to the Witchwood because I'm sure I would've been kililng wolves until dawn otherwise... Some of the escort quests are cool (they're also a chore since they tend to be *long*...) in the sense that they often send you into areas you hadn't been before, often with quite a bit tougher enemies than you're used to (or just annoying ones, ilke Phantoms), pull you out of your comfort zone, so to speak. Got ambushed by a Chimera on the way back of one, my first one since the intro, didn't quite expect to have been able to deal with it at that point. Tough but satisfying fight.

No backer NPCs, Soulbound weapons, more scripted interactions, good pacing, musical score for the ages, no backer NPCs. Maneha the barbarian is hilariously lethal and Zahua the monk has the best voice in the game. I finally beat Concelhaut. Feels good to turn a lich into giblets. 1 All Stop. On Screen.
GhostofAnakin Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Anyone played The Technomancer? The description says: "The Technomancer offers players dynamic RPG gameplay and action-oriented combat along four different skill trees, concentrating on three different fighting styles and the destructive electro-focused powers of the Technomancers. But brute strength won’t get you through every situation: conversational dialogue plays an important role in quests, changing the story depending on the decisions you make. Along your adventure, you will craft equipment, weapons and armor for yourself and for the companions you’ll recruit, nurturing relationships with these important allies. Katphood Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Mario Kart 8. It is super fun and the highlights of the match are often hilarious. I would also be playing Mario Maker if I could connect to the Nintendo eshop to redeem my code. Connection test is just fine and I do connect to the internet but I can't seem to connect to the eshop. Tried setting up a manual connection and it still connects to the internet but not the eshop. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.

I only saw it because I was browsing around for new games just recently released. There's a very detailed and in depth review on the Codex if that's any help. Chapter IV in Betrayal at Krondor, trapped in the very heart of the enemy stronghold, a quite daring narrative move if I do say so myself. Due to the clues i've gathered and noticed its become quite clear to me whom the real antagonist is, long before the game acknowledge this, but that is true in most media I suppose and I am too far placed to do anything about the matter. Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!

I had to call them to get it fixed, since apparently the eshop account is handled separately behind the scenes to the NNID. 1 L I E S T R O N GL I V E W R O N G

I'm liking Pelligina's voice in the base game and Devil of Caroc from White March. Haven't met Zahua yet. Spent most of yesterday going through the Endless Paths and realizing I missed like 3 levels because I hit a roadblock and just left instead of checking out the freaking stairs. White March keeps reminding me of Icewind Dale a bit. But I'm currently enjoying Endless Paths too much to really check it out. Kind of disappointed by how little there is to do with the stronghold, though. When I saw that I could send my idle companions on adventures, I expected to be constantly sending them out to do stuff and keep them up to level. Maybe with some risks, perhaps picking the best companion for the mission or something. Instead, once every blue moon a single quest shows up and I just send one person to do it. 1 "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

I created a User on the Wii U and verified the email and everything. Linked my account online with the PC and all but I still can't access the eshop. Funny thing is that pretty much everything else works just fine. I even collected some coins by completing various tasks such as login into the Miiverse thing. I also tried redeeming my code here: https://eshop.nintendo.net/redeem#/ It gives an error and says that my account isn't linked. On the settings it shows that I have linked it. Weird. Maybe the eshop is going through some problems. There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
