October 15, 201213 yr I'm amazed at how much the donations have picked up in the last few days, and we aren't even on the final day yet! I'm gonna up my pledge again tomorrow as the countdown comes to a close.
October 16, 201213 yr Heh, I liked the suggestion for $3.6mil reward: Chris Avellone has to do a 'Let's Play' of Arcanum, since he's still never played it.
October 16, 201213 yr 3.32mil, with Paypal it should be 3.4mil now We're about to hit it. Well done everyone
October 16, 201213 yr I was really skeptical about hitting the 3.5 million mark, but now I'm pretty sure we'll hit it.
October 16, 201213 yr I was really skeptical about hitting the 3.5 million mark, but now I'm pretty sure we'll hit it. Pretty sure? What does that even mean? We're a puny 70k away from the 3.5 mil goal. At this point we can consider it a done deal.
October 16, 201213 yr Okay, can we have a stretch goal for a third big city now? Maybe for the expansion pack.
October 16, 201213 yr New stretch goal- suburbs. For each extra 10 g's, obsidian will remove one row of tacky mcmansions from each of the big cities. Edited October 16, 201213 yr by happyelf
October 16, 201213 yr And we should not forget to mention Project Eternity will now be the highest funded Video Game
October 16, 201213 yr It better be! At least until the next inXile or Obsidian KS project, which hopefully won't be needed if W2 and PE are successful.
October 16, 201213 yr I think I just realized why there was such a huge gap between stretch goals. With the money they earned, Obsidian's going give a good chunk of their funding to the 'Kicking it Forward' program, so i guess the huge of gap was to make up for this loss.
October 16, 201213 yr The deepest level in the Mega Dungeon will actually be a Mega City! Right guys? Who's with me? That sounds... really awesome, actually. Now that it's obvious we're gonna get this stretch goal, I support this.
October 16, 201213 yr The huge gap is because that big city is gonna take up lots of resources - espicially if they still intend to complete the game in a timely manner. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
October 16, 201213 yr And we should not forget to mention Project Eternity will now be the highest funded Video Game Until Warren Spector starts a KS for a new Deus Ex like game or something Or if valve started a kickstarter with a 10 million initial goal to release HL3 free to everyone - but now that's just being silly. No traditional wizard worth his pointy hat could possibly work by the light of pure, smooth, dare one say virgin undribbled candles. It would just not look right. The ambience would be totally shattered. And when it did happen, the luckless wizard would mess about, as people do, with matchsticks and bent paperclips, to try to get nice little dribbles and channels of wax, as nature intended. However, this sort of thing never really works and invariably ends with wax all over the carpet and the wizard setting himself on fire. Candle dribbling, it has been decreed, is a job for a dribbler. – Terry Pratchett, Unseen Academicals.

Kick it Forward doesn't come out of the KS funds. It's only given from profits after release.
October 16, 201213 yr YAY! THE STRETCH GOAL IS REACHED! WE HAVE OUR SECOND CITY! Over 105 000 on PayPal, and 3.395 M on KS makes it final! I went crazy and added 8 dollars more to the cause! *SHOVE!* *** "The words of someone who feels ever more the ent among saplings when playing CRPGs" ***
October 16, 201213 yr Holy hell, Yesh Yesh, Shandaloo is with us! "What can change the nature of a man?"
October 16, 201213 yr Now, I just want to see Mr Avellone dress like M. Bison and curse the universe... With an evil laugh! "What can change the nature of a man?"
