  1. The merchant on oreo koiki had one when I checked.
  2. Hey. The forum is text based combat, if yet with opinions rather than weapons.
  3. I'm not sure it's common, but I visited the other day and a sign clearly said "KINDLY SHOUT YOUR GRIEVANCES IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF THE CUBICLES" and I figured, when in Rome... There might be less mannered people who try to be discrete and constructive about it.
  4. There's story mode if you don't care about game balance. Every build is assuredly overpowered there. You go play that instead of raging every time devs try to tune the higher difficulties.
  5. In the ruined old city beneath Neketaka. Do a quest in the Gullet and you will be contacted by Dereo. His request will lead you to this area, where the sword can be found: You can also simply convince Hitenga to let you take the lift down. You will end up in another part, but you can get here from there. However, you will be on a timer, because they will pull the lift up again, and getting out will be tricky.
  6. You can't leave on your boat until you investigate the digsite for Clario. Gorecci Street is indeed tough. If you enter from the south you can easily sneak by the thugs and talk to their leader and solve it without violence. To enter from the south, approach from outside the city. I've also done it by using the southern exit of the harbor map, south of the inn. Also this should go on the strategy forum
  7. You know Atsura is extremely manipulative, right? There's nothing saying the RDC wouldn't also be irresponsible with luminous adra. It's just not a priority for them, so he took an easy shot at the VTC. I wouldn't use Atsura to figure out Rauataian culture.
  8. We are currently understaffed due to lack of roparu with a death wish the extreme popularity of the Gunpowder Bathhouse, but we genuinely wish to offer such a service. For now, we recommend you bring a friend to perform the massage. We will provide you with a cannon loaded with our patented Cannonball on a String (which is exactly what it sounds like and the string is neither long enough nor strong enough) STOP IT which you can fire a few times to heat up. You will have to retrieve it yourself, which is where the string comes in handy. Important disclaimer! Cannonball on a String hits RDC building: Extra fee Cannonball on a String hits Huana building: No consequence Cannonball on a String hits VTC building: Your stay is free! You are also welcome to perform a Rapid Massage™ by firing the CoaS directly at your friend. So far, no one who has been subject to this treatment has complained!
  9. The best thing would be to repair your ship, then turn the storms on again and hope you can get out of the mortar. Then again, Ondra will probably think you've outlived your usefulness and will be happy to drown you to preserve a bunch of secrets.
  10. Yeah, my paladin has roughly 60 more reflex than accuracy, and through 4 recastings of Sacred Immolation the damage to self seemed consistent. (I was standing by myself, away from the battle) Mechanically I don't know how the reflex save would work anyway. It's not even avoiding a point blank fireball, it's being the point blank fireball.
  11. In fairness, I didn't say if it lives, it has a selection circle. But you could be hollowborn.
  12. Oh em eff gee. We have a gamebreaker on our hands, courtesy of Esajin. I was going to say I managed to stack Good Food, Better Friends with a food buff, twice in a row even, but obviously when I tried to do it with the food buff I wanted instead of some random +1 might food on one party member to clear an injury, it stopped wanting to stack. Well, I said it just now I guess. But this, sheesh. This deserves its own OM NOM NOM category of the no rest strategy. Hold your horses. I can't get this to work
  13. You should be sure. For one, the Engwithans animanced things up so hard they could determine there were no real gods, just the Wheel (which they also took the liberty to alter). That's why they created their own. For two, Woedica is acting all pissy about the gods' decision to give up their mortal physical bodies, because they could have punched Eothas if they still had them.
  14. This is not fixed. I am confused about how it's supposed to work. Castol is not at his office when you first arrive to Neketaka, but after resolving the Hasongo problem he's there. He'll offer me the animancy quest and then Dirty Laundry. These feel like low level quests to me so I'd really hope they should have minimal plot blocks to overcome. Anyway, I did those two, and long after that I did Poko Kohara. Got the quest from Atsura, never talked to the governor for it. Still, I knew the governor would want to know about it so I talked to her and she dragged me to see Castol together with her. And after concluding that and getting my reward I had what OP described with Castol acting like I just came back from the animancy experiment and giving me the Dirty Laundry quest again and it even showing in the corner of my screen (but it's not an active quest in my journal). I can't recall where Crookspur fit into my quest flow this time, but I think I handed it in right after disentangling myself from his amnesia about my quest progress.
  15. Ehm. Just because I don't particularly want Pillars 3 to be ship focused doesn't mean I particularly care for Obsidian to make another game that is either. Bad poll :/
  16. Eh, if you can't afford to rebuild Caed Nua you definitely can't afford to fortify Ukaizo. Even if your combat feats make you feel super awesome, you're not going to defend an island with 25 people.
  17. Ahhhh! That sounds like an aggressive conversation option... What is the party effect? Never mind, I checked it out. No disposition comes with the action, and the party effect is +5 accuracy vs. spirits. Further info: The intimidate check allows party assist. Simply killing them won't give you the pet or anything else cool. And lastly, there's a hilariously naïve conversation option available here if you ate the mushroom you receive as a peace offering from the delemgan north of Tikawara.
  18. We speculated about this here, check it out.
  19. You mean just unique among the recruitables? Because enemies can multiclass too, and there's a fair bunch of those
  20. You're entirely at liberty to do so! But you should know there are some entirely unscientific, biased and VTC-sponsored studies that show that our dishes taste worse the more gunpowder is in them, with 100% gunpowder tasting the worst. So if you believe that junk, it may hold you back from your defensiver, reflexiver, fortituder, willer self. Eccosi? Are you implying barrels aren't living things? Why does my cipher's Borrowed Instinct work on them, hmm? They have instincts and my cipher feels them buffing his accuracy and defenses as would a wolf, kith, golem, sigil... if it has a selection circle it lives!
  21. Ghost heart does not fit the bill for me. I'd just feel I'm gimping myself because I'm avoiding to use an ability I have.
  22. Dafuq. Never touched rangers in Deadfire, but I'm not a TCS player. As a PotD full merc nerd I can assure you it isn't. (100% PETLESS RANGER KIT PLZ OBSIDIAN)
  23. Actually if that's what you intend to do you should really try to get a console sorcerer here. Because you've alienated all hope of allying with RDC or the Huana, but the pirates are still available to you. Probably just need whatever nifty line will open up Queen's Berth. Try here. While it's not what that forum is for, console issues are close and the knowledgeable people are far more likely to read it there. This thread might also be useful.
  24. I seem to recall reading something about the battle ending before all corpses had been generated. What I gathered from that was, don't save the captain for last if you want their sweet loot.
