Actually if that's what you intend to do you should really try to get a console sorcerer here. Because you've alienated all hope of allying with RDC or the Huana, but the pirates are still available to you. Probably just need whatever nifty line will open up Queen's Berth. Try here. Marux Amanth (soulbound dagger) also has a "kill 10 enemies" level-up requirement. I haven't tried it, but I'd be surprised if it works differently. Yeah probably. I level that to max before I even leave the dungeon floor where I got it though :D I had a cipher sneak up on a barrel and try to charm it. While that didn't work, mobs did congregate around the barrel to investigate.

No thanks. Getting caught stealing is already a game mechanic which can cause reputation loss or outright hostility. You should not suffer those consequences anyway if you manage to beat that mechanic. And it would just be tedious to unequip items when visiting the merchants you stole them from.

Bad idea. You'll barely get higher than a Cloak of Greater Protection if you split. Although the bonus slots might come in handy.

A 15 point advantage over the CoGP requires 40 points in history. 15 points of defenses requires 20 history, but that's only 5 over the CoGP. ^^

Nah, I can't make a case against speccing someone for it unless you're soloing perhaps. But I think your numbers are way off. As far as I can tell it gives +0.5 defenses per point in history. To have a 15 point advantage over the CoGP you'd need 40 history :D

I mean... I don't know that the difference between a history pumped character wearing this cloak and one just using a greater cloak of protection is huge.

Make 'em known. * Barrels count as enemy kills for the purposes of leveling up Blightcaller Blightheart. * Ciphers can use Borrowed Instinct on barrels, and they have 0 defenses so it's probably a guaranteed crit. Note that gunpowder barrels have 21 defenses though. The gunpowder gives a barrel an immune system, sentience and the ability to deflect attacks and dodge abilities. Luminous Adra has nothing on gunpowder, really. Gunpowder Bathhouse idea already taken though, so move along. More! Give us more! P.S. Sigils and naga totems can be abused in similar fashion.

The effect it has in Deadfire is Llengrath will still be part of the Circle, and you get to socialize with her a tiny tiny bit over your meeting.

I've read a number of bug reports here but none seemed to describe this issue, for which I didn't think to make a save either. Every time I've tried to get the Dawnstars to help with the food shortage I simply have no conversation option for it with anyone at the Temple of Gaun. However, after talking to Pitli I could delve into the matter and she sent me to the high priestess. At that point I suddenly had two conversation options to bring up the matter, and only one of them involved Pitli. It seems to me that the other one should be available to me even if I hadn't helped Pitli or been sent by her. And just for the record, my first visit to the Temple of Gaun was after helping Pitli with the cure but before discussing the food shortage with her.

I'm hearing the shanties with a female lead vocalist for the first time. Thought I just had ****ty hearing to not have noticed them before 1.2, but now I can tell they're distinctly different from the male ones. Color me pleasantly surprised.
