  1. SHRIEKING DIMWIT SAY NO TALK ABOUT FOOD. BUT WAS LONG AGO. SHRIEKING DIMWIT HUNGRY NOW. MAYBE TAKE OVER SQUARE OF OCEAN. BUILD WALL AROUND. ALL FISH BELOW IS FOR IMP.
  2. As a general rule. In regular interactions, it's always Watcher's skill plus Party Assist. In scripted interactions you can sometimes choose a party member for the task (for example identifying an animal), and then it's that character's skill plus Party Assist. Other times everyone in the whole party needs to pass a check, and I believe PA is still active then. There are allegedly a few cases where PA isn't active. I don't know which they are. Even when it says Watcher-only check in a scripted interaction I still seem to get PA. For picking a lock or disarming a trap it's whoever you send at it whose skill that counts, again with PA included. I hope I didn't say anything incorrect now.
  3. Regular conversation is always Watcher and nearly always with Party Assist allowed. So it's 5 in your case.
  4. Ah, quests generally tend to show up as failed when you've made them impossible to complete, especially if done by killing the quest giver. Even if you didn't have the quest and didn't intend to get it. Don't worry about it.
  5. I think that in order to receive her blessing you must have also healed her daughters. This requires The Spine of Thicket Green from the Dark Cupboard or a druid party member. Then you sneak up on their respective trees and heal them.
  6. As I mentioned in my previous post, you can side with them regardless of class if you've been blessed by the Green Lady.
  7. The merchant on oreo koiki had one when I checked.
  8. Hey. The forum is text based combat, if yet with opinions rather than weapons.
  9. I'm not sure it's common, but I visited the other day and a sign clearly said "KINDLY SHOUT YOUR GRIEVANCES IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF THE CUBICLES" and I figured, when in Rome... There might be less mannered people who try to be discrete and constructive about it.
  10. There's story mode if you don't care about game balance. Every build is assuredly overpowered there. You go play that instead of raging every time devs try to tune the higher difficulties.
  11. In the ruined old city beneath Neketaka. Do a quest in the Gullet and you will be contacted by Dereo. His request will lead you to this area, where the sword can be found: You can also simply convince Hitenga to let you take the lift down. You will end up in another part, but you can get here from there. However, you will be on a timer, because they will pull the lift up again, and getting out will be tricky.
  12. You can't leave on your boat until you investigate the digsite for Clario. Gorecci Street is indeed tough. If you enter from the south you can easily sneak by the thugs and talk to their leader and solve it without violence. To enter from the south, approach from outside the city. I've also done it by using the southern exit of the harbor map, south of the inn. Also this should go on the strategy forum
  13. You know Atsura is extremely manipulative, right? There's nothing saying the RDC wouldn't also be irresponsible with luminous adra. It's just not a priority for them, so he took an easy shot at the VTC. I wouldn't use Atsura to figure out Rauataian culture.
  14. We are currently understaffed due to lack of roparu with a death wish the extreme popularity of the Gunpowder Bathhouse, but we genuinely wish to offer such a service. For now, we recommend you bring a friend to perform the massage. We will provide you with a cannon loaded with our patented Cannonball on a String (which is exactly what it sounds like and the string is neither long enough nor strong enough) STOP IT which you can fire a few times to heat up. You will have to retrieve it yourself, which is where the string comes in handy. Important disclaimer! Cannonball on a String hits RDC building: Extra fee Cannonball on a String hits Huana building: No consequence Cannonball on a String hits VTC building: Your stay is free! You are also welcome to perform a Rapid Massageā„¢ by firing the CoaS directly at your friend. So far, no one who has been subject to this treatment has complained!
  15. The best thing would be to repair your ship, then turn the storms on again and hope you can get out of the mortar. Then again, Ondra will probably think you've outlived your usefulness and will be happy to drown you to preserve a bunch of secrets.
  16. Yeah, my paladin has roughly 60 more reflex than accuracy, and through 4 recastings of Sacred Immolation the damage to self seemed consistent. (I was standing by myself, away from the battle) Mechanically I don't know how the reflex save would work anyway. It's not even avoiding a point blank fireball, it's being the point blank fireball.
  17. In fairness, I didn't say if it lives, it has a selection circle. But you could be hollowborn.
  18. Oh em eff gee. We have a gamebreaker on our hands, courtesy of Esajin. I was going to say I managed to stack Good Food, Better Friends with a food buff, twice in a row even, but obviously when I tried to do it with the food buff I wanted instead of some random +1 might food on one party member to clear an injury, it stopped wanting to stack. Well, I said it just now I guess. But this, sheesh. This deserves its own OM NOM NOM category of the no rest strategy. Hold your horses. I can't get this to work
  19. You should be sure. For one, the Engwithans animanced things up so hard they could determine there were no real gods, just the Wheel (which they also took the liberty to alter). That's why they created their own. For two, Woedica is acting all pissy about the gods' decision to give up their mortal physical bodies, because they could have punched Eothas if they still had them.
  20. This is not fixed. I am confused about how it's supposed to work. Castol is not at his office when you first arrive to Neketaka, but after resolving the Hasongo problem he's there. He'll offer me the animancy quest and then Dirty Laundry. These feel like low level quests to me so I'd really hope they should have minimal plot blocks to overcome. Anyway, I did those two, and long after that I did Poko Kohara. Got the quest from Atsura, never talked to the governor for it. Still, I knew the governor would want to know about it so I talked to her and she dragged me to see Castol together with her. And after concluding that and getting my reward I had what OP described with Castol acting like I just came back from the animancy experiment and giving me the Dirty Laundry quest again and it even showing in the corner of my screen (but it's not an active quest in my journal). I can't recall where Crookspur fit into my quest flow this time, but I think I handed it in right after disentangling myself from his amnesia about my quest progress.
  21. Ehm. Just because I don't particularly want Pillars 3 to be ship focused doesn't mean I particularly care for Obsidian to make another game that is either. Bad poll :/
  22. Eh, if you can't afford to rebuild Caed Nua you definitely can't afford to fortify Ukaizo. Even if your combat feats make you feel super awesome, you're not going to defend an island with 25 people.
