The engine is very old by now. Can't really compare it to Arma.

The retailer/backer/whatever DLCs and goodies are usually insignficant, If that is indeed what you are talking about. Just jumping in here out of the blue and not bothering to read the thread. A pretty far leap to say that they 'necessitate piracy' anyway. All of them together don't really represent the 'full game' if there was no such thing envisioned, rather a bunch of different flavors to chose from. I have yet to encounter launch bonus content worth bothering about actually.

Even the ludicrously priced mice which I have been guilt of buying myself often are all made of the same cheap plastic components glued together.

I have to admit I never considered that anyone would do that on a regular basis. I assume it was a one off.

Dog looked a little unhappy. Like when forced to have a bath. No biggie.

I guess you can call it a comment on what people seem to think is important.

We can torture and kill eachother to our hearts content but if someone dyes a dog blue, that is simply inexcusable.

There is nothing good about lazy MMO/Ubisoft storytelling where they spend time on the main mission and all the other open world stuff is just copy/pasty. It's not really 'open world' if everywhere is the same. Awkward sex scenes can be pretty funny though, and it looks like they haven't ruined that tradition. Lot's of potential in transgender (what were the bull people with the horns called anyway)

Forum software doesn't allow certain possibly problematic image extentions. If you got a hit from your antivirus off an image here, I'm pretty confident it's a false positive.

So were doing 'Why Germany lost the war'. In no particular order : Going into Russia while Britain was still in the fight. No coordination between axis powers such as a combined attack of Germany and Japan on Russia. Hitler made a lot of bad decisions, thought he was a battlefield commander. Failing to properly marshal the resources of conquered and home territiories. In Germany by killing such a large number of his own citizens, Jews and political dissidents, who could have contributed to the war effort and in conquered territories by comitting ideologically motivated atrocities turning potential allies into partisans.

El oh el. Even OSCE agreed that Georgia attacked first and disproportionately, and that there was no Russian build up beforehand- and HRW state unequivocally that Georgia ethnically cleansed around 200,000 ethnic Ossetians in the 90s civil war. The west has no obligation to help someone who starts a fight, nor to help ethnic cleansers even if they are their friends. Georgian War of Wanton Aggression in South Ossetia was in August, 2008 Barack Obama, inaugurated January 20, 2009. Obama, so bad he retroactively turned the Bush administration into a bunch of peaceniks! I was gonna say that. It happened under Bush who was under pressure not to get involved. All the military adventurism the US could muster having been sucked out of them in Iraq and Afghanistan. It also seems pretty clear that the Russian involvement was a cynical power play and not some sort of humanitarian rescue mission.

...must resist obvious references... it's hard Edit to add: Still debating with myself whether to get the game or not. At the moment the nays have it. Maybe a few months into the new year. If she doesn't know that 'Nationalist Socialist' means Nazi as most people understand the term then surely that would be worth pointing out. Not really a mistake you want to continue to make.

Isn't South Ossetia Russian now (or Russia recognises it as a soverign state rather) and was a breakaway province of Georgia. So who were the grabbers there ?

The EU thought Turkey was too far away, although they probably meant culturally. Anyway doesn't Georgia hate Russia already and have been begging for NATO inclusion like forever.

The VolournĀ© quality assessment is 100% correct as usual. Adjust for up being down, black being white, left..etc. Acutually they are all pretty meh. Except the first LotR movie, I liked that one a lot.

I kinda view the difference between lifting that burden together as the difference between being a self absorbed teenager and becoming, you know, an adult. The US has taken the first baby steps, hopefully the whole thing won't revert with a new president.

That, and insurers are middlemen, driving the price up and making the actual cost of services provided by hospitals hard to decipher. Having the goverment be the main employer is much more efficient. This what makes it possible to lift the huge burden of providing healthcare to everyone. The secondary market for non essential healthcare such as elective surgery and dental care ect. is then private. It's a model that is tried and tested and works well in Europe and Japan for instance.

What do you mean. The point is just to abandon a falied dogmatic approach to Cuban forgein relations. This is a good thing. Shows character being able to examine and learn from your own mistakes.

Depends on what you want with healthcare. If it's the most ammount of healthcare for the least ammount of money it makes sense to eliminate profit driven aspect of it as much as possible. You know, like they do in civilized countries.

Unreal tournament 2004. Didn't have any optical drives at the time but the CD key on the inside of the cover worked fine with a downloaded game. They should start releasing games on USB sticks
