Laser fuel for powerful beams is actually really expensive. It's a whole other ballpark than consumer level lasers and only really viable for something like the anti missile role. A railgun uses an array of electro magnets and onboard a destroyer or something with a huger powerplant it looks feasible.

Yes, ha ha. I'm pretty sure soldiers don't go to war with passports, that's what dogtags are for. There are loads of Russian weekend warriors though, amateurs who go there for the glory, that's were the passports are from, and considering the size of the rebel controlled areas it's entirely unlikely that they would have been able to keep up a steady supply of war material without Russian aid.

What is that document exactly, is it some sort of description for internal purposes or a script for teachers to follow in case they forget what they are doing. It seems a bit Soviet Russia to have every engagement with the students pencilled out like that and all the points you want to make already power pointed.

Mock bombing runs and mock incursions into the airspace of non allied nations is part and parcel of a game that has been played since the cold war. You present to have that intent and veer off at the last minuite. It keeps airforces on their toes and ready to challenge so it's not all bad. We should be grateful really, it's not like NATO could afford to do that on regular excercise basis anyway.

That's a fair enough comment I suppose. As much as I dislike the NK regime and find their entire Juche ideology a crude bastardisation of anything "Socialist" that at best only pays lip service to it; I do find it annoying when leftists try to pass it off as some "right-wing" and/or "fascist" regime. That said, I still disagree with the idea that any of their modern policies are based off any kind of Socialist ideology and instead are just the desperate scramblings of a tiny, isolated country under siege (see the creation of "Special Economic Zones since the 1990's). Nope, they eventually promoted non-leftist (and explicitly anti-communist) governments into their sphere as well (e.g. Nasser and Nehru). That's not really relevant at all. Relations with other countries are guided by practicality, not ideology. I think that's a little harsh. Some forms of socialism are like this, but not all. Socialism is a broad term that encompasses many different ideologies. None of which I support, but in fairness I feel it's best I object. Switch socialist with authoritarian and it'd be more accurate. A lot of people have Socialism confused with Comunism, most notably the Comunists who were as happy to include all the left leaning governments of the world into their 'struggle' as American right wingers were to perpetrate this fallacy. It suited both their interests. After the end of the cold war there is no excuse for not knowing the difference though.

It's easier to do a darkside-lightside slider and have dialouge options colourcoded. ****, neutral, altruist. That way you can add or remove modules with relative ease and have a simple measure for when you want people to react to your reputation. It's simplistic bordering on the banal. It would be better to go without and have NPCs react to how you completed certain quest, which would in turn have the dialouge trees be more complex and more work.

If it's just a boss fight then why not quit at the boss fight and call it a game. I do that every time I get an annoying boss fight where they change the rules you have been playing by the whole time.

The story is really terrible though. American jock on sabbatical type protagonist (he really does not seem one bit the covert operator he proposes to be) goes somewhere exotic and theres zombies. is it Turkish, they look Turkish ?. Theres a hot kickboxer chick who is in more than two cutscenes, which apparently makes her the love interest. Shes only in the game for less than a minuite though. I don't think there was any romance at all, although a cutscene is usually a cue for me to go make coffe or something so I might have missed it. Yes you are just waiting for her to get kidnapped from the second she's introduced, it's all pretty obvious. Part of it is just how games are designed. You can't really have the romance interest be the active party because the player is the active party, moving the game and the story along. So she becomes static per default and a 'damsel'. You could chose not to have an American jock on sabbatical and a perfect 10 local girl as the principles though, I would be all for that.
