Time to move on to other things.

Don't get mad on the internets ?. It accomplishes nothing. Tackle the ball, not the player. That's a football reference, not the American kind.

Whenever I return to this thread it's a little more of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb_qHP7VaZE

American Riots, Michael Brown....is it justified ?

Daily mail... Maybe we can get the history channel in on the action. I'm sure Hitler is to be found somewhere in the background pulling the strings. -

Yeah that's pretty tasteless. Either that or it''s the American way. When in Rome, make lemonade - or whatever. -
The Iran Contra drug funding is a real thing as far as I have been able to. I can understand that one's natural inclination to dismiss it as conspiracy theory, but given that the CIA were up to all sorts of skullduggery during those years, it's not strange that people speculate either. . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIA_and_Contras_cocaine_trafficking_in_the_US

Yes I wonder, could that have something to do with not wanting bodies on the streets. -

More importantly is that he doesn't tell them what they can do about it. He doesn't say; the relationship between the black community and law enforcement could be mended if the drug war were ended. He just says, "Well, use this anger for something positive." - Not a direct quote, but the jist of what he said. He needs to be more bold and actually name things that should change. Obama is a politician. As such he is far more interested in exploiting problems than fixing them. Politically they need black community to be in a constant state of rage and mistrust. That way they can run ads that say it's all the Republicans fault during the election cycles. Demagoguery does not work when folks are reasonably happy. That's the worst part of this I think. They whip these folks into a rage and then set them loose for very cynical and selfish reasons. If all racism, real or perceived, were to end tomorrow do you know who would be out of a job? Al Sharpton & Co. Makes you think every time you see him show up at a place where he can cry "racism". He's not up for reelection. Ex presidents typically stay ex, and isn't Obama supposed to be toxic for the democrats who want to appeal to swing voters. On the other hand I do think Al Sharpton needs to be that guy who shows up every time politically. If he didn't he could hardly call himself an activist, he would be accused of working for 'the man', being 'part of the system' like Jessie Jackson. No, I don't really think Obama has any stake in this other than appearing to be trying to mend fences. -
Also don't understand the Dark Souls thing at all. Looks dated and boring to me. I realise that a lot comes from the save system and the combat mechanics so you have to perform well for say 25 mins to have a chance of completing a mission. I dunno, I guess I'm spoiled. The animations are weak and so is the creature design.

I assume this is on the Rome reboot engine, which is quite a bit worse than the old one. Don't know who is making this now. I thought they went bust. http://store.steampowered.com/app/325610/?snr=1_4_4__100_6

I would probably get it on sale, but in Danish Origin everything is always 500 kr (about 90 $). Obviously deliberate not to have a PC version be cheaper than a console version of the same.
-
Sounds like it still has a lot of those 'do this one way and one way only and if you miss a step you die' Ubisoft missions. Remember how annoying the Asscreed eavesdrop missions were.

I thought they didn't build cruisers anymore. Too many eggs in one basket kinda deal. Better to spend that money on 5 smaller ships instead of one giant one, unless it's a carrier of course.

Appart from the fact that it's pretty gross even if he didn't mean it litterally, to my mind one should bloody well be able to tweet 'sieg heil' or whatever you want, it's got nothing to do with the tourney. If he said it, during the tourney to someone in the tourney, that would be another matter. It would be in the purview of the organisers to censor it.
-
It's multiplayer terminology, part of intimidating the opposition. Does not refer to a sexual act. I do think that when organisers ban people for tweets it takes away from the point of the thing. These tourneys are supposed to be highly competitive, that's why people like them.

Also, and I'm no expert, but aren't you comparing a frigate to a destroyer ?
-
Yeah but there are more of us than there are of you. Advantage of being able to work with others.

Sometimes a comma following an introductionary clause just makes sense ,even if its after a 'but'. That listing comma in the example is superflous.

I know it's yesteryear times ten but I just can't stop laughing.

Man I wish Eve was really that instead of what it is.

They still look a bit like cadavers to me. Maybe it's the blood vessels just under the skin that are just hard to fake.
