  1. Another question - if I go for glass cannon build - should I go for Intelect for higher debuff duration or resolve for not having terrible deflection

But I guess I'll have to go dual anyway as soul-bound weapons are restricted by class so no 2-handed for rogue :/ I don't think that accounts for rogue damage bonuses, which are more the more hits you get in. Anyway, still thinking my options. Guess I'll go arquebus/dual something rogue myself. You mean sneak attacks on debuffed emenies? Remember you can get these debuffs from other classes.

  4. They are not that big on DPS, remember crit is only +50% damage and multipliers are additive. In best case it's only 20% *50% = 10% more damage.Furthermore - what would you replace?
  5. I had a nice riposte/retaliation tank concept back in 1.1 which worked quite well. Are you sure that riposte now only works on misses? In that case I agree it's doesn't make much sense. I see your point - this character will be very bad in defense even with high con and plate armor. Low will save is a weak point of course, I know it can cause problems but it's rare. I think I've tried doing 'Jack of All Things' character too much and I should either go for pure dps with light or no armor or tank with shield and deflection stats.

I'm thinking about my character for my next playthrough and I'm pretty much decided on playing as melee rogue (with npc, on hard) At this moment I think best option would be using two handed estoc + retaliation plate armor with high constitution and riposte so my enemies would die before me. Here's my build: Attributes: M: 18 C: 15 D: 20 P: 19 I: 3 R: 3 Abilities: Lvl 1: Cripling Strike Lvl 3: Reckless Assault: Lvl 5: Riposte Lvl 7: Escape Lvl 9: Deep Wounds Lvl 11: Deathblows Talents: Lvl 2: Backstab Lvl 4: Savage Attack Lvl 6: Shadowing Beyond Lvl 8: Two Handed Style Lvl 10: Weapon Focus - Adventurer (Estoc) Lvl 12: Vulnerable Attack Skills: Stealth: Max Athletics: 3 Any ideas how to make this better, or maybe I'm doing something dumb?
  7. During my first PoE playthrough I played with adventurers because companions had terrible attributes. Now in patch 2.0 we are getting an option to respec party members, so I've tried 2.0 beta, but to my surprise we can only reset attributes on main character and adventurers. There is no option to reset companion attributes. (what's even more surprising is that according to description it's other way around - attributes can only be reset on companions...) Anyone has any idea if this limitation is going to stay in final patch 2.0? I really want to play with companions but I just can't stand how terrible attributes they have.
  8. I took a look at dual wielding - it seems to decrease recovery time by 50% so I have a request for frames testing: Single handed naked dex 10 vs dual wield naked dex 10 with armor having -50% recovery penalty. We don't have data for sabre yet so you can use it

  10. 1)Well, we got options for -10,5,0,5,10,12 accuracy bonuses\maluses on weapon + global bonus\malus. So I think we got everything covered. 2)I'm not sure if I understand correctly what do you mean by chance-to-connect but I'm pretty sure it's correct - you can take a look at table starting at cell S12 Base damage change is only graphical - damage bonus on weapon has the same effect as any other damage modifier, elemental damage on weapon on the other hand works different and formulas account for that.
  11. Hatchet's and War Hammer's damage was wrong (11-16 and 14-20 instead 9-13 and 11-16).   13. 1)Dex affects Attack Frames, Recovery Frames and Reload frames by 1/(3%*(DEX-10)), Attack Delay and Recovery delay are not affected by anything andare both more or less 5 frames each. 2)Attack speed modifier and recovery speed modifiers both only affect Recovery Frames - they are additive and then multiplicative 3)Reload frames besides DEX is only affected by Reload speed.
  14. Could someone explain me what's the exact difference in frames between single and dual wield weapons and how does it depends on particular weapons?
  15. I've modified our spreadsheed to reflect discoveries made by Daemonjax. Now we only have DEX, Attack+Recovery Mods and Reload mod as modifiers affecting speed. One question - does Attack Speed\Recovery Speed modifiers affect reload time? Sorry for multi-posting, but there are several important issues here and I don't want them to be mixed up.
