To summarize the talents that seem impossible to obtain as of 1.1: Captain's Favor [1] Persistent Adaptive Gift of Hope [2] Soul Power Candlebearer Bound Shade Vielo Vidorio Savage Cunning Slave's Silence Oppressor's Rage Social Order Compassion Inner Glow [1] Seems to be the opposite of Infamous Captain? If so, perhaps it should trigger when maximizing the crew's morale but something's preventing it. Do you think they should be mutually exclusive, if both were obtainable (i.e. once you obtain one, the others becomes locked)? [2] It would make sense for this to be bestowed onto you when Eothas gives back a portion of your soul in Hasongo, if you had not sacrificed anybody to the blood pool and/or absorbed the souls in Heritage Hill. It would be a way to reward the "not an ***hole" route. Items: Pearlescent Rhomboid Helstone Spirit Maw [1] [1] Apparently an ability that Engoliero do Espirs should/could have depending on how your encounter with Lucia Riva was resolved. Let's see if we can get some official feedback on whether this content was intentionally cut, or it is missing because of faulty triggers

Typo thread
AndreaColombo replied to rone's question in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
^ That should go to its own separate thread; definitely not a typo (and probably won't get much traction if you only post it here.) -
It kind of bears the question of why it is Eothas, rather than Rymrgand, who goes out of his way to destroy the Wheel—and why Rymrgand doesn't lend a hand to be a tag along. Eothas is placing a risky bet on kith (and from what we see in both games when we meet animancers, they don't really seem to be close to a Wheel-grade breakthrough; in fact, they strike me as quite far from the level of advancement Engwith had reached); Rymrgand could have simply gone on a rampage and destroyed the Wheel at any time, possibly before kith could gather any noticeable expertise in the field of post-Engwith animancy.

I actually think armor in general looks pretty good in Deadfire. I love the down-to-earth look rooted in historical aesthetics, as opposed to the exaggerated, cartoonish looks that seem so popular nowadays. Same with most weapons, to be honest. I’m only really underwhelmed by Firebrand and Spirit Lance (and by some unique armors not having a unique model.)

This is yet another instance of a companion reaction that doesn't quite make sense to me: Is Aloth reacting to my asking why Aruihi needs a Watcher for this task? If yes, the protagonist is clearly not taking pride in their being a Watcher here, or flaunting it. That the protagonist is a Watcher is a fact, and one the protagonist didn't actively want or pursue to boot; why a Watcher would be needed for a task that doesn't involve peering into the Beyond is a fair question. Or is he bothered by Aruihi's suggestion that the Watcher has keen senses? It doesn't seem like he's just catering to the Watcher's pride. Rolling eyes at Tekehu's asking whether I've come to bask in perfection is understandable (and I'm not even sure Aloth rolls his eyes then!) but this?

I disagree. Action speed should speed up recovery by the same amount. If the tooltip says I move 33% faster, then I should also recover 33% faster; there is nothing in the game suggesting that recovery should be benefiting less from the bonus than anything else. The only reason is that the game has unnecessarily byzantine formulas.
