Seconded. I’d have expected Maia to attack and at least Pallegina to join her; possibly Aloth and Edér too.

Going by memory, DoC with Armored Grace and Cutthroat Cosmo has 6% recovery penalty left. Articulated was nerfed from 20% to 10% which I’m so NOT bitter about.

I also resent his vainglorious personality, but I believe he's one of the best-written companions (if not outright the best-written.) I don't have to enjoy his personality to appreciate how well said personality is conveyed by the author, and I believe Paul Kirsch did a great job with Tekehu. I didn't play his romance (I don't like romances in RPGs and would never willfully engage in one), but I kept him in my party for the entire play through and there's a reason he behaves like he does. It's a well-executed character, in my opinion, and I believe that's what most people like about him. Well, that and the fact that he's good in combat

Saved game: LINK - Load the saved game. - Spawn a dummy via console (cre_dummy) to enter combat. - Select Aloth and cast Cloak of Death. - Approach the dummy and let it attack you (it may take a while for it to land a hit, but it will happen—have faith.) - Observe that Cloak of Death does as much as the goggles: Nothing. While you're at it, access Aloth's inventory and observe the spell's VFX isn't displaying

I'm starting to see a pattern here (same issue as this and this) It seems like any spells that apply a VFX to your character are not displaying that VFX in the inventory. Is it intended behavior? If yes, why? (I'm open to the possibility that there's a perfectly valid reason; I'm just puzzled as the VFX is pretty rad and when I access my inventory and can't see it I'm a bit disappointed.) Here's a Priest's Minor Avatar spell not displaying:

I've just run another test. - Cast Citzal's Martial Power. - Switch to your second weapon set (doesn't matter if it's just fists.) - Switch back to your first weapon set. Boom. You're now partially or fully invisible depending on whatever. Once the effect expires, you're visible but your weapon is not until it attacks again. After the first attack. it becomes visible but part of it near the hilt is still invisible (such was my experience with a great sword at any rate.)
-
In your first video you cannot cast spells with Aloth because Citzal's Martial Power disables spellcasting (it mentions that in the spell description.) That's also why my repro steps always have it as the last spell to cast In that state, you should still be able to select Aloth and use him to attack, however (I don't have a problem with it.) The invisible/semi-invisible issue is exactly the same as I had. Moving him around changes whether he is entirely invisible or just partially, or at least that's how I experienced it. Apparently it's not tied to the interaction with Enchanted Armory so much as with weapon set switching (when Enchanted Armory expires, you automatically switch back to your regular weapon set and I guess that's what triggered the issue with Martial Power.)

Patch 1.1.1 Updates Thread
AndreaColombo replied to David Benefield's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
^ you may want to report that in its own thread in the bug subforum. I doubt QA are scanning this thread for bug reports. -
Saved game: LINK 1. Using Citzal's Enchanted Armory removes all your other equipped items. - Load the attached saved game. - Access Aloth's inventory and observe he has some items equipped (Thaos's headdress, a pendant, a grimoire, and gloves.) - Back to the game, spawn a dummy (cre_dummy) via console to enter combat. - Have Aloth cast Citzal's Enchanted Armory. - Go to Aloth's inventory. - Observe that none of the items mentioned above is still equipped. Aloth cannot cast from the grimoire anymore, or benefit from other equipment bonuses while under the effects of Citzal's Enchanted Armory. Similar to what was reported here (but not the same bug; may be related.) 2. Using Citzal's Martial Power with Citzal's Enchanted Armory makes you semi-invisible if the latter expires before the former. - Load the attached saved game. - Use the console to give Citzal's Martial Power to Aloth.* * This step is needed due to the first bug above. Citzal's Martial Power is available to Aloth via his grimoire, but when you cast Citzal's Enchanted Armory the grimoire goes away, preventing you from following the rest of the steps. - Spawn a dummy (cre_dummy) via console to enter combat. - Have Aloth cast Citzal's Enchanted Armory. (- Wait 5-10 seconds to make it easier to for Enchanted Armory to expire before Martial Power.) - Have Aloth cast Citzal's Martial Power. - Wait for Citzal's Enchanted Armory to expire (it should expire before Citzal's Martial power.) - Observe that Aloth is now semi-transparent: 3. Casting Citzal's Martial Power after Citzal's Enchanted Armory deselects your weapon set. - Have Aloth cast Citzal's Martial Power. - Observe that your weapon set is no longer selected (Aloth appears to be wielding nothing.) - Click your weapon set. - Observe that instead of swapping to the second weapon set as it would normally do when you click it, Aloth will simply unsheathe his primary weapon set (from Citzal's Enchanted Armory.) BONUS: Remember this bug? When you follow the steps above, Citzal's Enchanted Armory appears in your inventory when you click your primary weapon set and Aloth unsheathes those weapons. Caleb, buddy, sorry for cramming three bugs into one thread but they were related and it was so much more convenient for me XD

Similar to what happens with Citzal's Enchanted Armory: All I did here was enter combat, make Aloth cast Citzal's Martial Power, then access his inventory. The spell is active (and its VFX displays no problem in-game), but in the inventory Aloth looks normal. Not a big deal, but that VFX looks pretty sweet and I figured it's a pity not to see it up close in your inventory.

Could probably file a bug report for this oversight; there’s a chance they can patch it in.
