  1. Guys, is it just me or the font looks better after installing patch 1.5? I play at 2560x1440. I wasn't really expecting it to change but every time I look at it I can't help but think something has changed am I just seeing things?
  2. Still an issue as of patch 1.5. Character models in the level-up screen look as though they were being upscaled, but being real-time rendered 3D models, they should never upscale and always display at the selected resolution.
  3. You'll have to admit that it would look more than a little sub par, however—a green armor with a red cloak, ugh
  4. The pollaxe issue described in the OP is still present after applying patch 1.5. The same is true for Kana's estoc-wielding offset issue described above. Additional issues: SAVED GAME: link (This saved game can be used to repro Kana's estoc-wielding issue as well; just kill a random person in Defiance Bay to enter combat and observe how Kana's left hand doesn't quite touch the estoc's hilt.) REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Go to your inventory. Observe that the protagonist's head is a much darker/greyer color compared to the complexion on the rest of her body. Screenshot From your inventory, select Sagani. Observe that Sagani's head is a much brighter color compared to the complexion on the rest of her body. Screenshot. From your inventory, select Hiravias. Observe that Hiravias's head is detached from his body. Screenshot. NOTE: The level-up screen generally makes these issues even more obvious as it provides a closer view of the character models.
  5. It kind of sucks that he appears so sporadically, especially when you consider that not all items he sells may be palatable for your current play through. He appeared three times in my first play through and I was fairly disappointed at not being able to acquire all his items.
  6. Guess I'll be using cheats to free up those 4 enchantment slots then (really want to make that armor Superb)
  7. Sking, here's a saved game that exhibits the issue: link I believe it stems from the fix trying to be retroactive but only partially managing to it (it retroactively gives Frenzy to the armor, but fails to retroactively remove Retaliation.) I suppose new post-1.5 games, or games in which the armor is acquired after patching, aren't affected by this issue (but I don't know for sure as I had just acquired the armor before I applied the patch.)
  8. I believe this is intended, but the effects on crafting potions and scrolls are a bug resulting from it. Hopefully a dev will chime in to confirm or deny.
  9. In the following loading-screen tip, there's a double hyphen replacing an em dash. Everywhere else in the game text, however, em dashes have been replaced by a single hyphen (hence my suggestion to remove on of the hyphens from this string). Screenshot In this sentence spoken by Maerwald there should be a space after the ellipsis. Screenshot In the following sentence spoken by Kana there's a mismatch between VO and written text. I think VO says something like, "there are secrets beneath the keep yet." but I suggest listening to it first, then amending the string accordingly. Screenshot. As a side note for Eric, it looks like I've been wrong about periods followed by ellipses: (Emphasis mine; quote from Wikipedia.) I hope you didn't fix those when I reported them! I won't report those anymore going forward.
  10. Not sure if 1.5 fixed this (I'm not installing it until the IE mod is made compatible) but as of 1.4, the estoc appears to incur a similar issue. Here's a screenshot of Kana wielding one: Screenshot. Repro steps are the same as in the OP; just have a character wield an estoc instead of a pollaxe (preferably—but I guess not necessarily—Kana.)
  11. This was absolutely great! It made me appreciate the game and all the hard work and effort Obsidian put into it even more. It was so good to see Obsidian employees play instruments in the building's marble hall, and sing in one of those Josh-made languages :D
  12. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication, devs! THIS ALIGNS WITH MY INTERESTS (quote.)
  13. Justin, is there a chance you would consider a high-quality audio package to be made available separately for those who don't care about disk space?
  14. You definitely get them all before finishing the dungeon. The four parts are found on level 2, 5, 9, and 12 respectively.
  15. So the Interrupt vs. Concentration check is Attack Roll + Interrupt - Concentration and the duration of the Interrupt depends on whether it is a Graze, Hit, or Crit?
  16. Kewl. Would be nice if they had small icons next to them like all other items from that screen. I think I'll suggest just that.
