Actually 1.3 did add a bunch of unique icons for unique weapons that didn't have one, and I believe the devs are working on the remaining missing icons for other item categories (Brandon said in an update that most unique items would eventually get unique icons.) Keeping my hopes up for 1.5 (Darren also confirmed new effects are coming, such as for Petrified, etc.)

When a weapon is enchanted with a lash effect, a visual indicator appears on the weapon (e.g. a Burning Lash weapon has a flaming blade.) However, said visual indicator does only show in-game, and fails to display on your paper doll in the inventory screen (I suppose the same applies to level-up, but I haven't tried.) SAVED GAME: link REPRO STEPS: Load the saved game. Observe that the main character has a Freezing Lash weapon displaying a visual effect on its blade. Enter the inventory. Observe that no visual effect is on the blade held by your character (paper doll.) The same steps can be followed with Edér, who wields a Burning Lash weapon in the same saved game.

When casting a spell through a doorway or passage (i.e. not out in the open), the spell often happens to bounce against walls that it doesn't actually hit. SAVED GAME: link REPRO STEPS: Load the saved game; you'll find yourself in Lle a Rhemen in front of a doorway. Select Aloth. Cast the second level spell "Rolling Flame" in a straight line in front of you. Observe that upon reaching the doorway, the spell bounces against the pillar even though it doesn't actually hit it (and it shouldn't, since a straight line in front of Aloth is actually clear).

Need help, im new.. :)
AndreaColombo replied to Celerion's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I disagree with the notion that INT is useless for Fighters. I'm currently playing a high-INT Fighter and she's pretty badass INT is mainly for Prone duration on Knockdown.) Of course there can be low-INT Fighter builds that are equally good or even better. But still, high-INT Fighters are pretty rad -
Antialiasing ?

I very much agree with MonarchX about calibration. For me that's an Integral part of owning a monitor. i1 Pro FTW -
[1.04] Into the Fray no longer pulls
AndreaColombo replied to a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I think it does work for me, but if I'm fighting more than one enemy and there is either a bad guy or one of my NPCs between me and the target of Into The Fray, it stops the pull. Is this what you're experiencing? Or it just never works for you under any circumstances? -
This is probably not the best subforum for the request; what level are you on, exactly? IIRC there are doors with steep Mechanics requirements on level 13 (which isn't quite the last one ). Personally, I made a custom rogue with maxed out Mechanics to get past them (you can leave the rogue at the stronghold afterward if you don't want him in your party.) As for the blade, IIRC the third part is on level 8 and the last part on level 12 or 13 (can't recall the exact location but I assume you'd clear and loot all levels completely; maybe you should sneak around them to look for hidden objects.)

[1.04] Companion skills are borked
AndreaColombo replied to a question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
It would help if you had a saved game with eighth-level Hiravias to hand the devs so they could repro in-house -
All the above are still outstanding. Additional typos: When talking to The Master Below, there's a full stop followed by an ellipsis. In this case, the full stop and the ellipsis should not be separated by a space; rather, the space should come after the ellipsis (i.e. "The Black Meadow.... Perhaps [...]"). Screenshot. When Edér comments on your findings regarding his brother's allegiance during the Saint's War, there is a mismatch between the VO and what is written (VO says "this one", writing reads "the one"). Screenshot When you first encounter The Grieving Mother, there's an aside that should be between commas but the first comma is missing (i.e. the sentence should read "You can hear her thoughts, and she is glad to, at last, be seen.") Screenshot. When talking with the Spirit of Od Nua, there's a sentence that has too many commas. Those underlined in the screenshot should be removed. Screenshot. Tcharek appears to have issues with ellipsis as well. In the screenshot the follows, the first ellipsis is preceded by a space and followed by none when it should be the other way around (i.e. it should be "Vithrack... searching." and not "Vithrack ...searching."); the second has no space before or after, and should have one after (i.e. should be "We grew sick... with memory."). Screenshot. One of the tips you get during loading screens speaks of "area effect" instead of "area of effect". Screenshot. Would be nice if a dev could chime in to confirm whether these are going to be looked at/fixed. Reporting them is rather time-consuming so I'll save myself the time if nothing will come of it

The inventory icon for the item Velune appears very pixellated at 2560x1440. SCREENSHOT: link SAVED GAME: link (yes, it's the same as in the bug report about resting bonuses never going away) REPRO STEPS: Load the save game attached on a computer whose monitor runs at 2560x1440 (and of course set the game to that resolution too). Access the Stash and look for Velune among the miscellaneous items. Observe that the icon appears very pixellated compared to all other icons around it. Right-click Velune to see its description to get a closer look at the pixellated icon.

Since updating to patch 1.4, the bonuses I get from resting in specific rooms at an inn are not removed when camping outside or resting in the common room. They can only be replaced by different bonuses from resting in a different room that grants them SAVED GAME: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Observe that the party is currently receiving a bonus from resting in the Broad Beam room (+1 Intellect, +1 Perception). Talk to Bishop, and rest in the Common Room of the Goose and Fox. This room gives no bonuses and should therefore cancel those in effect. Observe that the bonuses from resting in the Broad Beam room are still in effect. Head out of the Goose and Fox and reach a wilderness area outside of Defiance Bay. Rest using your camping supplies. This should cancel the bonus from resting in the Broad Beam room. Observe that the bonus is still in effect.

Enchantement bonus limit
AndreaColombo replied to kilobug's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I'll raise this if someone sends me a saved game where I can repro the issue (I'm at a point in Act II where I can't enchant anything to Exceptional or Superb yet). If you want to send me the saved game—please travel to Caed Nua before saving. I would very much like to avoid spoilers since I'm still relatively early in Act II.
