Killing companions
EVERYBODY should be killable. As well as there should be a complete pacificst run. That's actually something I pretty much expect.

Possible to play tabletop "Project Eternity"?
This ruleset is developed specifically for RTWP CRPG combat/gameplay. So, I guess it would need some adjusting, but it's not like this can't happen after. There's a good chance even if there's demand.

The importance of sound (not music)
Agreed. Sound should play a bigger role in games in general. In a lot of games there is quite a disconnect between the soundscape and gameplay. That shouldn't be so.

Can we get a.....more original symbol for Project Eternity?
Nope. I like it. We don't even know if it will stay. "Project Eternity" itself is a codename.

Stretch Goal #2
What does "good idea" mean? Because I sure as hell don't want to be spoiled in an update. If they do it should just be a sentence.

[Update 02.10.12] Project Eternity: Known Information
In the video, you can see even more of those sketches. The variety in the video does not even show all of the sketches that our artist did. She tried out a variety of styles and levels of dress. It's a high-level, low-detail pass on character ideas. Does that mean there will be muskets in the game, or is it all just a terrible, terrible mistake? How are muskets a mistake? Their inclusion would mean this is not a D&D game (the 2nd Ed Php did have arquebus weapons but no one used them) It isn't in the first place.

No he didn't

Real "Lies"
Manipulation, both by NPC's as well as by the Player should be a standard feature in the game. NPC should have personalities you can manipulate in correspondance to your choices, but NPC's should also be able to fake them and do the same to you. A betrayel should never be predictable, except if the attempt of the NPC himself is hamfisted. (Or yours depending on your stats) (At least is the general idea)

Developer Hangout?
As the devs aren't constrained by NDA's this time. How about a thread where we can discuss stuff (questions directly adressed to devs, smalltalk) with the devs in their sparse free time specific for Project Eternity? That would help the impression that the devs are active in the forum and it would probably help keep things a little organized.

Missing Stuff is Great! - Replayability and Choice-Driven Content
Really great thread. I'm a number 6.

Do people want this game to be as "Hardcore" as 90's RPGs?
I want it to be MORE hardcore. As in harder with greater complexities involved. Regarding systems that didn't really work and were annoying more than anything (but can be improved). That's an entirly different question.

Bugs and polish
Dungeon Siege III was one of most bugfree rpgs I have played in my life. But,.... they don't seem to use the Onyx engine for this one

Photorealism vs Stylisation
I'd HEAVILY argue that point. DA2 didn't look better artistically. Nor do you see to remember DA:O correct if you call that one photorealistic.

[Merged] George Ziets as as the 2.8 million stretch goal
Keepin' this alive.

Art by Justin Sweet & Vance Kovacs for Project Eternity!
Don't we have this thread already? Well, a similiar one.

Is this the PS:T successor?
No, it's not. It's a spiritual successor to ALL infinity engine games (and as it looks like some of Troika's). If you actually checked the points that Avellone brings up regarding the game you will see the differences. Like the plane-jumping universe or no traditional races.
