  1. They already seem to have one (if this is still current). We just don't know which.
  2. "You are being watched. The obsidan fanbase has a secret system: a machine that spies on you every hour of every day. I know because I built it. I designed the machine to detect acts of game development, but it sees everything. Tabletop games involving ordinary people, people like you. Acts the community considered irrelevant. They wouldn't act, so I decided I would. But I needed a partner, someone with the skills to intervene. Hunted by obsidian, we work in secret. You'll never find us, but developer or janitor, if your number's up...we'll find you."
  3. Have to call it a night. Well, Matt MacLean and Alvin are in the middle side by side and two left of them is Param Anand / QA Intern.
  4. Justin Bell - Lead Sound Designer Front Row Second from the left Richard Taylor - Project Director Front Row Third from the right I recognize a lot of others as well. Am I correct that Polina Hristova is front row second from the right?
  5. Yeah, agreed. I'd be fine even with only one still used, especially if it was very detailed. Could be a series of sketches too. Again, I really like DSIII's stills. Looks cool and they seem cheap and fast enough to produce.
  6. Or a part of said refugees may hold a grudge (for one reason or another) and badmouth you or in the worst case scenario try to kill you.
  7. Tigranes talked about it IIRC. It's probably coming soon.
  8. Yeah, but that's the point of "perhaps when they're very close to finishing and want a much bigger beta pool". They don't need to brute force it when bugs are pretty visible. And at that time, it's better to have something more organized than to throw as many people on it as you can.
  9. Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter Well, that's at least one (major) way to tie failure to game mechanics. Ofc, you have to be a very special game for it.
  10. Neverwinter Nights 2 (I don't know if the original was too) has been removed from all digital plattforms. Edit: Did this happen a while ago? Never noticed.
  11. The game does have a bit of everything in there So far I heard: It's TORN It's Baldur's Gate It's Arcanum It's Planescape Torment (In terms of companions) But, I guess that's kinda the plan.
  12. New Vegas was Inon Zur. A bit was by Obsidian and the rest reused tracks.
  13. The traditional fantasy races in it are kinda the point in a way. They are going to put their own twists on all of them/subvert them.
  14. Random Comment: I really liked the kickstarter music for one because it really, really fit well with everything that happened in the video, awoke emotions at just the right moment. If Justin reads this: How long did you guys take to put that video together? (The Video, from a marketing standpoint, is fantastic in general. Much better than I have often seen from publishers)
  15. To be serious though, there is some stuff I would like to update on the Wasteland wiki for a while (Mainly the developer pages). I actually have time next week/this weekend for it.
  16. Ausir Wikis = Best Wikis What can one help out with?
  17. No At least not till a beta test shortly before release. The Cons: Every backer had beta access. The resulting chaos doesn't mean a better game or anything. ESPECIALLY if you don't have the manpower to handle all the bugreports and sort fakes out.
  18. That this was ever a question is baffeling. Like, the majority of past gaming kickstarters started with a unclear DRM situation till they got confirmation from some other service than steam and then had DRM free options.
  19. That scene would make sense if I attack them frontal. But what about if I take them by surprise or sneak up on them?
