  2. Planescape: Torment is my favourite there. But it boils down to: Only important dialog and the first few lines on important NPC's/Greetings.

  7. Hummmmm, I couldn't decide nor would I want to (as a player). Depends entirly on what story you want to tell and which themes and ideas you want to bring across. Of course, as a player I want to be able to manipulate that relationship as I see fit. Edit: On that note. Are you asking this question from the players or writers/game developers perspective?
  8. Yes, it can. They can make it look like this, for an instance : TOEE still uses 2D backgrounds + 3D charachters/objects? IIRC?
  9. Much earlier. Obsidian seems to have decided on this engine even before the Kickstarter started. Fargo, very late into the Kickstarter.

  12. Don't do it. This is a dangerous road. Delve too much into forbidden knowledge and soon a court will issue a restraining order that says you have to be at least a couple of miles away from Obsidian's employees at all times. I think I just managed it. or Nobody at Obsidian watches Person of Interest, in which case I'm disappointed. (Then again, that was creepy)
  13. They are also entirely different concepts from homosexuality that are widely regarded by all, from the stance that neither young children nor animals can give concent to sex, to be bad things. Could they be included within the game? Yeah, they could. Should they be? Probably not, in my opinion, but if you want to petition for it, go ahead and make a thread for it. Well, it depends. They shouldn't be portrayed positivly and neither should eternity's world just consist of positive things. It's again, a matter of writing and impletation.
  14. Sawyer is very open to get said charachters integrated. So, I don't think that would be a problem in the first place.
  15. Should exist. Treated respectfully and not being made a big deal of, but naturally integrated into the gameworld. Arcade was great in F:NV.
  16. Pure survival is one of the things I'd like to see more in games. It should be possible to still successfully *run away* but it may end up in the scenarios you described. And not just as part of a game's *cutscene*, but naturally in gameplay. In the case of a companion death this could lead to particular player emotions towards one specific normal enemy in the game.

  18. I want interesting companions, not archetypes of good/evil whatever. And even if the companions don't like each other, it should still be possible to get them together in one group depending on your actions. Or get them to murder each other too of course. Or help one of them to murder the other. Or...
