  1. from all the interviews and q&a outer worlds looks more like tyranny then any other obsidian game just hope obsidian have more budget this time

  3. Hm, I don't see Kana killing Queen Onekaza II and being ok with that. yes then vtc and rdc will both have a patriot that doesn't agree with the company's most ruthless action that is rpg companion routine but it works
  4. the struggle between order and conscious in poe1 are given to maia all pellagina do in deadfire is agreeing with vtc it was a weird choice why not just put all the content about pellagina and maia in pellagina to make one whole character and bring back kana to represent rdc again?
  5. It really surprised me in finale. All factions were more or less equal in good/bad things in their politics and then Ruatai suddenly tells me: go drown one city block in blood while we bomb civilians in another. And I was "What?! Are you crazy, no sane person will agree to do this." It was like writer decided to tell me: No matter they are right about incompetent Huana leadership that hurts its own citizens more then helps. No matter they have a point about how stupid it is to mine Luminous Adra. They are bad! Militaristic countries are bad! Invasions are bad! Look how bad they truly are! With same level of subtlety. what would you expect militaristic thugs decide to annex deadfire with nice word cute bird and power of friendship? if not war then coup it's only reasonable
  6. that's a very wide range huana are mostly polynesia which exist in asia america and oceania rauatai looks part japan was hoping for some south and west asia style things in poe but atleast the south america style ixamitl have some interesting potential
  7. reading too much text in poe nearly went blind all the cipher and watcher soul read are very annoying in both game deadfire also have way less pointless empty wilderness map other then small bounty maps and the attempt to simplify rules really progressed much more in deadfire though still have many unresolved issues
  8. that quest have the biggest design problem in the entire game always kill fleet master after refuse to kill the queen and fight out of brass citadel
  9. according to the interview the sequel are likely happen in another part of the galaxy so if any ending of this one include main character settle down then maybe it is best for sequel to have a new main character but maybe now is too early to think about the sequels

  11. why would anyone suggest learn one spell from grimoire per power level remove grimoire entirely then give the wizard one more spell per power level to correspond with subclass spell of druid and priest remove spell from grimoire make some sense in deadfire since wizard doesn't equip grimoire at all still have access to spell learned leveling up no grimoire as a equipment just means wizard always have their own grimoire with all the spell their learned written in it may as well simplify the matter and make wizard get all spell from level up instead of 2 from grimoire others from level
  12. now that all the caster have to choose their spell when level up and can no longer learn spell from other grimoire the existence of grimoire are some what redundant why not just allow wizard to choose one more spell each power level instead of subclass determined spell each power level like druid and priest that way wizard are still versatile and have total control over what spells to learn if still want to keep special grimoire around for flavor then just make them give some small bonus instead of spells like llengrath grimoire give extra duration for enchantment spells ninagauth grimoire give bonus freeze damage
  13. major dlc looks very unlikely now after outer worlds announced and yes it will be better if they start making poe3 if they still can never know when microsoft will get some ideas
  14. not very important other then the sanctuary island and some can be trigger by nature godlike or ranger so no need to play druid for dialogue options
  15. poe lore are relatively much easier to understand then dnd the important thing is to remember there are many missing piece about the lore don't try to fit all known piece together because there are many pieces missing between them
  16. hoping for no micromanage equipment for companions the fnv system of new equipment after companion quest was a great idea
  17. they can easily make a soul godlike or create a new god with a few hundreds thousands of souls and body of wael split off many little monsters
  18. what best for ruautai are stop them to be imperialistic thug just try to strong arm everyone and everything what they think they want are not what they need and anti caste system was never a strong argument against huana support vtc rdc just make one more caste on the top old blood maybe even worse new blood will break everything which may include caste system and everyone alive

  20. gods doesn't need main character follow eothas berath want main character try to talk to eothas and see if anything useful may come out of it and the point isn't what main character do but what player experience in the process just like read books and notes to piece together some other major event happened in eora but a little more direct watch gods argue are a nice touch
