  1. Humans process images much much faster than 25 FPS. Only reason movies can get away with 25-30 is because of motion blur.
  2. Did you get the mission to protect the stalkers from them?
  3. Move quickly to get there so that most of the Stalkers are still alive when you arrive.
  4. I got my first thing of better armor before I headed to the bar. The documents you're retrieving from some lab or whatever, there's a side room with lockers that has a suit of armor in the lockers. I found a couple of places like this. That was the first, I think. Then I found another that had a good suit of armor, just after I purchased it. I just found out there's 7 endings and I only know 3 of them. Looks like it's replay time!

Who are they? Who are you? "Well, that guy's Ben, he's Tom, that guy over there is named Jim, he likes hotdogs..."
  6. I think I'm going to see some mutant turtles of the teenage variety that may or may not be ninjas, today.
  7. It starts off very hard until you get some decent armor and guns. Once you get that, it becomes *cough* "oops, wiped out a bandit camp." *cough* "oops, mercs down the drain." But, then you meet the Monolith guys and it ends pretty hard, too, especially if you're going for the harder true ending. Geeze, I didn't think that was going to end.
  8. Still playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I think I've discovered where the false ending diverges from the real endings. I ain't falling for that trap!
  9. [quote name=>Where's my dinner? Pretty good... and lazy. I had Thai food for lunch. I love Thai.
  10. I would call killing ancient gods "performing trivial tasks." Sure, they respawn, but they do the same when you start a new save in a single player RPG, doesn't mean the last playthrough was trivial. As for actually accomplishing anything, you can accomplish quite a deal in the sandbox games. How's this for accomplishing something? Not just EVE, but when SWG was in its prime there was much to accomplish. Names to make for yourself, player enemies to vanguish and crush beneath your heel.
  11. Jupiter is the Roman counterpart for Zeus. I always think it's interesting to note that another name for Jupiter is Jove, which can correspond with the Jewish Yahweh and Jehova. And Zeus had an affinity for mating with human women, which sometimes resulted in children. I'm just sayin'! Xard: Buddhism is nice. I'm a fan of Shintoism, it's just so nicely fantastic.
  12. Elohim, Allah, Haile Selassie, Shiva, Zeus, Jupiter, the goddess, Gud, Shang Ti, Shen, Tian Zhu, Brahman, Akal Purakh, Ra, Xwede, or Cao Dai might get mad at me if I show favoritism towards your god over them. Also, I feel that accepting Christ might interfere with my path to enlightenment and I will never become Buddha.
  13. Food: Crab Rangoon (soooooooooooooo gooood)
  14. The combat has a progression. You start off with crappy guns with bad accuracy and then you get better guns with better accuracy.
  15. So far it seems like all optional missions are timed.
  16. So far, this game is largely what I'm hoping the Bethesda Fallout 3 will be like. Only with more skills and a more depserate setting.

  18. Number of contacts in the area. Not sure if it's exclusively neutral contacts or all contacts as I do not pay it that much attention.
  19. I call BS. So, are you saying that you can install a program while using Windows XP compatibility mode? Then you are wrong. You can. If this is about your personal feelings towards me then take it to PM for that is off topic to this poster's problem. How's this for off-topic: lighten up, buddy.
  20. I wish I could. It's hard to rise above a previous experience of being the perfect being.
  21. I call BS.
  22. Movie: Fight Club PC Game: The Longest Journey TV Series: Farscape Book: Things Fall Apart (been so long since I read it, I might just remember it better than it was) Alternative favorite: Lost World Comic Book: DC's Kingdom Come Console Game: Xenogears, followed closely by Final Fantasy VII, then Final Fantasy Tactics.
  23. It's still cheaper than a date.
