Considering the only reference to it in the comic was using it as a verbal insult "boy lover", I don't think we'll be seeing anything.

This claim is illogical. It ignores brand loyalty and word of mouth. To think people behave logically is illogical. But, then again, Phantom Menace had greater domestic earnings than either of the two to follow it. Heck, if you want to claim that two bad movies can "logically" ruin a third movie, then you have to accept by the same logic that three good movies can "logically" make a success of two bad movies.

It says no such thing. It says that lots of people enjoyed the third part.

I used to go because it felt like I was helping the game industry shopping as game speciality shops. Then, it became too often me coming in, them asking if I had a pre-order, me saying no, them saying too bad. So, I went to Best Buy where they would have a stack of the game. Eventually I just cut out the extra steps. Then there was that whole "trying to sell me already opened games as new" thing they did 2 or 3 times.

I refuse to shop at Gamestop/EB. And you are right about N64 games. I remember the predecessor to those stores, Funcoland, trying to pawn off a used Mario Kart 64 for $80 on me, because of the high demand.

Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords Wow, this campaign is so silly it's silly. A few missions in you end up fighting a race whose frigates can destroy your most powerful capital ship.

I think 3 might be the only one I got on release. I got 2 on a whim, got 1 after playing 2, got 3 day of, avoided 4, picked up 5 on a whim.

I had to buy the original Suikoden used, so I can vouch for part of Oerwinde's claims.

I should play FF VII again. I played it through almost weekly when it first came out. First time I played through it I forgot to eat a few times.

The game is one of the last games of the era that produced epics like Baldur's Gate II. It made me cry in two different parts, one of which I nearly cry on every replay. It's one of those epics that games nowadays all wish they were.

There's only room for one of me around these parts.
