  1. Hello Krewal! There should be a new staircase leading down in the center of the maze located in the old temple. That staircase should take you to the new DLC content. If it isn't doing that, please let me know, as well as let me know which mods you have active, because I cannot load the save file without those mods. Thank you Krewal, and sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.
  2. Hey everyone! I can definitely put in a request so it'll at least be seen and possibly remembered for future games, but I can't make any promises that any changes will be made for this a this in Deadfire at this point. I'll keep my fingers crossed Thanks for the suggestion!
  3. Hello Railgun, If I recall, experience distribution was not always explained in the easiest manner and would show for each quest part as well as the overall quest. I'd still like to have someone take a look to be sure that the experience distribution in your game is working as intended. Would you be able to provide us with a save file that we could use for testing purposes, preferably before turning in those bounties if possible? If needed, you can find instructions on where the saves are located here. If the file is too big for the forums, feel free to send it to me at support@obsidian.net along with a link to this thread as a reference. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for the help Railgun!
  4. Hey Wanderer! That news looks old indeed. I'll put a report together and have the team investigate what's going on and see if we can't get this fixed up Thanks for helping to make Deadfire better Wanderer!
  5. Hey everyone! Thank you for letting us know that the description of damage for Devastating Blow can come off as confusing. I put a report together with the information you provided and sent it to the Systems Design team for an investigation and to determine what they want to do with it. If you discover anything else about this, please continue to post it here as this thread has been linked to the report to be used as a reference. Thanks again, and sorry for the confusion.
  6. Hello Handsome! Thank you for reaching out to us about this issue. Fortunately we have had this one reported and it has been Verified Fixed in our system. It looks like the fix is getting ready to ship with the v4.0.2 patch update. Keep an eye on the patch notes to see when this fix goes live! Thanks again for the help Handsome!
  7. Hey everyone! We are still investigating this issue, but if you have saves where we can get this to reproduce, we would be more than happy to take them for the extra data. If needed, you can find instructions on where the saves are located here. If the file is too big to post here, feel free to send them to me at support@obsidian.net with a link to this thread as a reference. Thank you for keeping us appraised on this bug in the newer versions.
  8. Hello again Luke! Thanks for the help and the research put into this one! I put another report together and added all the information you provided here and in the email for the Narrative and Area Designer teams to investigate. If you discover anything else about this issue, please continue to post it here as I have linked this thread to the report to be used as a reference. Thanks again Luke!
  9. Hey everyone, Not much to report at the moment as it's still in the same status. It's currently considered a lower priority compared to some of the other bugs being worked on and it's taking a bit longer to get to them since the DLCs have been released and some developers are being moved on to other projects. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
  10. Hey everyone, The bug is thought to be fixed for version 4.0.0. If you are still having it occur, can you please send me a new save where this can happen to support@obsidian.net along with a link to this thread as a reference? Thank you and sorry if you're still having this problem
  11. Hello Luke! Thank you for the assist on this! 12. Hello Vehementi, Thank you for letting us know about this issue and for emailing me the extra information needed for the investigation. I'll be replying to the email as well, so keep an eye on your inbox if you haven't checked it already. Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience this bug is causing.
  13. Hello everyone, Thank you for reporting this issue. I'll be putting a report together to have the Systems Design team investigate the situation, especially since you can't dismiss the Watcher if you make them to be a Black Jacket Fighter. If you notice anything else about this bug, please continue to post about it as I will be linking this thread to the report so it can be used as a reference. Thanks again for reporting this and sorry for the inconvenience this issue has caused.
  14. Hello Taranaki, I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you are having trying to launch Deadfire. You wouldn't happen to be using networking software called Citrix would you? All of the issues the past couple of months regarding folks crashing as soon as they press launch on Steam have all been due to Citrix doing an update to their receivers. All users with this problem reported fixing the issue by either rolling back the updates or uninstalling the Citrix program. It seems, for some reason, the recent update that Citrix did has been preventing users from launching certain Unity based games on Steam. If this is not the issue, please let us know so we can look further into this when we return from holiday break on January 2nd. Thank you Taranaki, and sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.
  15. Hello Nem0! Thank you for reporting about these items to us. I've put a report together with the information you provided in the other post and send it to the Systems Design team to investigate. If you discover anything else about these items, please continue to post about them on the other thread as I linked it in the bug report to be used as a reference. Thanks again Nem0!
  16. Hey Andrea! Thanks for letting us know about this VO issue Per usual, I'll put a report into the system and assign it to the Audio team for an investigation into why this is happening. Thank you for your continual help in improving Deadfire!
  17. Hello Psychovampiric, Sorry about this bug and thank you for looking into it so much. I put a report together with all the information you provided and sent it off to the Area Design team to investigate a bit further. If you notice any more about this, please continue to post about it here as I have linked this thread to the report so the team can use this as a reference. Thanks again for the help, and sorry for the inconvenience this bug has caused.
  18. Hello Everyone! First, thank you Denton for letting us know about your issue and the diagnostic that worked to resolve the issue. Second, Elbe, from what I can see in the output_log.txt file, it seems your game is having trouble finding some files. The first thing I would do is temporarily remove the mods that the report says you have been using to make sure that they aren't causing any issues after the most recent patch update that we released. If the issue persists, then I would have you repair your game files via GOG to make sure they are all present and accounted for. I'll list instructions on how to do this below. 1. Launch GOG Galaxy and log in with your GOG.com account. 2. Go to the game's tab. 3. Click MORE > Manage installation > Verify / Repair > VERIFY GAME. If verifying the files didn't work, then I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling to force all files to go to a specific place where the game should recognize since they'll be freshly installed. In the event that doesn't work either, please let me know so I can have the team look into the issue further. We are still on break until January 2nd, so I'm hoping this can get you going sooner. If you do end up needing further help, would you also be able to provide us with a save file that does work and a save file that does not work for the team to use for an investigation? If needed, you can find instructions on where the saves are located here. If the files are too large to attach to the forums, please send them to me at support@obsidian.net along with your user name and a link to this thread as a reference. Thank you everyone, and sorry for the inconveniences you have been going through.
  19. Hey Rone! Thank you for letting us know about this VO-text mismatch. I've put a report together and sent it to the Narrative team for an investigation. If you discover any more of these, please continue to post them so we can keep making Deadfire even better. Thanks again Rone!
  20. Hello Frak! Thank you for this detailed description of the issues plaguing Forbidden Fist. I've put a report together and assigned it to the Systems Design team for an investigation. If you discover anything else going wrong with Forbidden Fist, please continue to post about it here as I have linked this thread to the report to be used as a reference. Thanks again Frak!
  21. Hey Railgun, I know if the quests are progressed far enough that peace eventually gets locked out as the families start to make moves against each other. I can check with the team when we return from holiday break to be sure, but that seems to be the intent as far as I recall. The bug I see from reading this, seems to be the fact that Ezzali agrees to peace after hearing about the robbery being planned on her vault. If you find anything else about this, please continue to post it here as I will be using this thread as a reference for the team when we discuss this. Thank you Railgun!
  22. Hey Silvaren! Thank you for the heads up on this! I'll put a report together and send it to the Narrative team for an investigation. If you discover anything else about these end game slides please continue to post about it here as I will link this thread to the bug report to be used as a reference. Thanks again for all your help!
  23. Hey everyone! Thank you for reporting this issue to us. Would either of you be able to provide me with a save where this is occurring that I can sent tot he team for their investigation? If it won't attach to the forums, would you be able to send it to me at support@obsidian.net instead? Thanks for the help and sorry for the inconvenience this issue is causing.
  24. Hey Khagmas! Thank you for reporting this issue to us! I've put a report together and assigned it to the Systems Design team for an investigation. Andrea, I added your part with the Key Word to the report as well Thanks again everyone!
  25. Hello Grunker, I'm sorry the combat has been giving you issues. Would you be able to provide us with a save file where these issues are occurring so the team can investigate this with the party you have? If the save is too big to attach to this thread, would you be able to send it to me at support@obsidian.net along with your forum user name and a link to this thread to be used as a reference. If needed, you can find information on where the saves are kept here. Thank you Grunker, and sorry for the experience you have had during these combats.
