  1. Hey Tiseba! I took your save file and added the Might and Health% effects to your Watcher. For some reason it didn't apply as Gift From the Machine, but instead is on there as two separate effects with a broken string name. I'm not quite sure why it's doing it that way, but the effects are on your Watcher and are indeed working. Hey Handsome, I'm glad you were able to get the issue resolved for yourself I would love if you happened to still have the save so we can look into it more in case there are potential future issues with this. My best guess is that it wasn't as much of a retroactive fix as it may have just been a fix for future Watcher's who weren't already on the quest.   4. Hey Wormerine, Thanks for the added information about your progression on the new character. I'm thinking this is something that has been fixed but wasn't able to be retroactive for folks who had progressed past the quest triggers and later saved their game. We tried progressing certain parts and granting the missive fresh, but it looks like the issue is locked on this save having all of the quests completed. I'd unfortunately assume this to be the case for any saves that were loaded when this issue was live. Any new characters that were made after the issue was fixed should work and seems to on the new character you mentioned above. I'm truly sorry for the bad experience this gives you for Noriko. The only minor resolution I can give Noriko would be to export her and import her as a companion in your new party. Sorry again for the massive inconvenience this has caused you Wormerine.

  6. Hey Percej, Sorry for the delay! I couldn't do much with the original Modwyr, so I sold her off and added a new one to Nelana's inventory. After linking the sword and talking to her, she seemed to continue from where I suspect you left off. Let me know if there is anything else that needs to be done for this. Hey Gift I took a look at the bug report and the team mentioned that after loading your save file they found the actual Dorudugan in the proper scene had the proper stats that it is intended to have. Apparently the one you summoned via console commands isn't the proper version and that particular consoled version has incorrect stats. I generally don't recommend using console commands for these reasons, but I'll post the command for the Random Encounter that has the construct with proper stats for you to enjoy.   10. Hello Murray, Sorry for the confusion you are having with the Character Creation. The PoE importer only imports different decisions that were made by your Watcher in the first game as they can affect what occurs in Deadfire. Now that Deadfire has newer choices available for Character Creation, we made it so that players must recreate their watchers how they want them to be whether it's the same or new. Your Watcher will also be level 1 again as they have been weakened after being crushed by a giant statue, so they will need to gain experience and choose their abilities again.   11. Hello nwreed, I'm sorry you are experiencing this strange graphical bug. I'd love to have the team take a look into this for you. Would you be able to reproduce the issue and then send us the output_log.txt file, DxDiag, and a save file where this is occurring?   12. Hey everyone, Sorry for the inconvenience this is causing on your ultrawide's. We have a report put together for this one so the Programming team can investigate why this is occurring. If you notice this occurring on resolutions on monitors that are not ultrawide, please let us know so we can look into those as well. I'll be attaching it to the bug report and let the team know that new information is available for them to use for the investigation. If you've gotten the armor on and are stuck without being able to take it off, please let me know and send me a save as my machine works with it fine and I can remove the armor to get you going again.   14. Hey Jin, Hmmm that one seems to be a bit of an older bug as I recall. I'll have the team take a look into this to see why it would be occurring again. Is this in the Sea Cave on Vilaro's Rest? Also, does the icon disappear if you hold Tab to force interactables to appear? Thanks for the help jin!

  17. Hey everyone, I'm sorry that this is still an issue for all or most of you. This is still our number one concern and programmers are still looking for ways to improve the performance issues on these Nvidia cards while we wait for help from Nvidia. I know there have been a few tweaks between the last few patches, but no "cure-all" fix yet. I am truly sorry that this is still an active issue for you and hope that we can get everyone running Deadfire the way it is intended. Sorry again for all the frustration this has been causing and thank you for your tremendous patience.
  18. Hey Shadow, At the moment, there is no timeline set for this particular bug. It's relatively small compared to some of the other one's that the team is working on at the moment so it might take awhile, if at all. It is still currently open in the system, and not been set to Won't Fix, so it still looks good at the moment. Sorry there isn't a solid confirmation, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for something soon.
  19. Hello Missvern, I'm assuming I replied to you via email already, but just in case I haven't, I'll post the response here in case other folks need it as well. A Scripted Interaction about a huge wave coming towards the ship should have had a crew member mention that the wave came from the direction of the Black Isles south of Tikawara. At that point the DLC unlocks but doesn't start a quest. Once you go into the Halls of the Unseen, you'll see a new staircase in the center going down to the Temple of Revelations. Once you go down the staircase the DLC content and quest will begin. I hope this helps but if not, please let me know! Thanks and sorry for the confusion the intro to the DLC has caused.

She also seemed to keep the same reputation values that she had prior to leaving the party. if this is something you would like me to do for you, then send me your save file to support@obsidian.net along with a link to this thread as a reference.   23. Hello Maxxus, I'm sorry you are having trouble launching Deadfire. We have had reports of this happening for some folks and all of those users had reported that this was caused by a networking program called Citrix. Citrix updated their receivers which caused users to have trouble launching some of their Unity based games on Steam. The same users report that rolling back the update or uninstalling Citrix resolved the issue for them. Please let me know if this is the case for you or if we need to look into this further Maxxus. You guys can do as you wish if it makes it easier for you, but it is definitely easier for me to grab everything from the same source so I don't have to pop in and out of forums/threads/support sites, etc. I definitely put favor into support@obsidian.net then move on to the general Tech Support forum before moving on to other sources.
