That's pretty interesting but for me, it's all about content density

The All Things Political Topic - new edition
No, sounds like another bad take. It's not like I've never watched him but it's always that I hear about an interview then I go find that specific clip rather than listening to what he's saying on a regular basis. Basically, if he's talking to Michio Kaku or someone then I might check it out.

warhammer 40k: rogue trader
Not sure how long the finished game is going to be but the beta ends in/at the end of chapter 3 and that look me like 20 hours, it was also like my third time playing through the first 2 chapters. There's a lot of text to read so depending on how fast you read or how much you skip it can probably vary a lot. Some other things maybe light spoiler

The TV and Streaming Thread: Summer Re-reruns (it's always summer somewhere)
I remember liking the first few seasons of Weeds quite a bit but then it fell headfirst over a cliff

warhammer 40k: rogue trader
Finished the beta, it's janky and missing a lot of stuff but I can easily see it being my next 800 hour game when finished.

Almost finished with Family Matters. I watched it growing up but it's still surprising how much I remember considering it's been like 25 years since i saw it last. We also watched Avatar 2 on Disney over the course of like 3 days. No desire to ever see it again but I'll probably watch the next one when it's available to see for free at home.

More Hardwood + Round Holes = Lots of Scoring in Basketball 2K19
Even if I hadn't been watching the game all the fireworks and car horns would have given the outcome away.

The New Drinking Thread
Dunno what it's called but I was at a party and had a ****tail that was brown sugar bourbon, coconut milk, orgeat, and a little vanilla extract. Was garnished with a maraschino cherry and some charred cinnamon sticks. Going to try to make it at home.

warhammer 40k: rogue trader
Rerollitis got me so I started a new game as a sniper this time. I'm just about to leave the second system which is when the game begins to open up and you can fly around exploring systems. I did things in a different order this time and it does play a bit differently. Not anything super huge but I wasn't really expecting it at all so it was a nice surprise.

I liked the first 2 episodes, especially the second, except for the political parts. Probably going to skip the third. Children's bible level

warhammer 40k: rogue trader
Haven't watched the video but there is a colonial management system and a separate ship combat system. I've only got one colony so far so I'm not too deep in that and I've been skipping space combat because it's missing a lot and super buggy. Marksmen with burst fire has caught up to, and depending on the enemy, surpassed melee fighters for me. Psykers are still healing and buffing mostly.

Kinda hooked on the beta even though it's missing a lot of stuff and is a bit janky. In the second system now and getting a better feel for the systems and the setting as my only 40k knowledge is from the Dawn of War series. As someone who prefers magic casters, psykers are currently in a pretty bad place as far as blasting goes, the buffs are pretty good but unnecessary in most fights. Not that I want to play a buffer anyways. So far it seems like melee is the best way to go for big hits and chaining kills but that could all change in a few levels.
