  1. I can live vicariously through you
  2. No, creme de catsup. Which might be good in a bloody Mary. Maybe. Probably not. I had to look up Minttu and it looks good
  3. No worries at all, I don't really like anything but Islays
  4. Trying to abstain from aka-haul so I'm having a vanilla nitro Pepsi and milk because I refuse to say pilk. I'll type it though. E: I'm really missing a good peaty Islay.
  5. I had to revise my score down 1 to 16/25 because I think I was being overly generous with the posters for wallpaper. I only had a couple. As to the teal and purple squiggly art https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jazz_(design)
  6. Cindy Williams, Shirley of Laverne and Shirley fame. The show that introduced me to Pepsi and milk.
  7. So, in a fit of alcohol withdrawal I watched the first some amount of episodes of Strange New Worlds and I gotta say, I didn't outright hate it like I did Picard and Discovery. I don't think it's great and I have a bunch of gripes but I think it's good enough that I may eventually finish the first season. I don't think anyone has broken down into tears or solved anything with fisticuffs yet so that's nice but they're also somewhat unable to get away from the stuff I don't the most about the other shows. Does everyone need a tragic back story and also do they all need to be so quippy? A little of both goes a long way.
  8. I got 17/25, technically a millennial but more accurately the xennial micro generation. Probably got a bingo or two, too
  9. Go Chiefs?
  10. She was on an episode of Enterprise too unless I'm misremembering I guess I should have read the article because it says that in there. Just assumed because the few articles I've seen didn't mention it. Now let's all take comfort in the fact that I was right and not dwell on the fact that I'm an idiot who comments on articles without reading them.
  11. To be fair, I think mambo/mumbo sauce is only really big in DC and maybe Chicago. I have to order it on Amazon as no stores around here carry it. I remember how hard it was making dinner for my in-laws when I was in Estonia. The stores didn't have all the ingredients for some of the things I wanted to make or the had the item but it was completely different to what I was used to. I remember the main grocery store we went to had an American section that was hysterical to me as it was basically what you'd find in a typical gas station here.
  12. I saw the movies when I was so young that I don't remember much about them
  13. PS I never thought anything about ketchup on a hot dog was weird until I worked for a place that was headquartered in Chicago Plus where I come from we have what's called the Sonoran hot dog that is its own thing
  14. Mambo sauce is good on mac and cheese and a lot of other things and has ketchup (it's basically ketchup, soy sauce, and hot sauce mixed together) in it Of course, some BBQ ribs (or pulled pork) over the macaroni and then covered in the sauce is even better This is my favorite way to eat runny eggs. I like ketchup a lot but I really only like it on fried potats, burgers, runny eggs, and occasionally a hot dog (yes, I'm a savage). PS my wife is Yuropien and also has a strange relationship with ketchup as she also used to* commit heinous acts of brutality and barbarism with it. *still does if I'm not around to provide better alternatives
  15. But swole is the goal and size is the prize Just don't skip leg day Says the guy that goes to the gym all the time but never actually lifts any weights. I just play basketball and do body weight exercises.
  16. It was some kind of German, I think they said it was a classic German dish, boiled meatball covered in a cream gravy that had a few capers in it and served with a side of boiled potatoes. Searching for it I've found other sauces but maybe it doesn't have it's own name, just a gravy you make out of the leftovers from your meat. e: maybe Konigsberger Klopse???
  17. I don't think so because I don't remember it having tomato in it but I could be misremembering
  18. Since they went from revamping it to pulling the plug on it, I'm going to go with no
  19. Oh man, it can and will. I look forward to your Andromeda playthrough as it's basically DA:I in spaaaace. A lot of interesting ideas that they bring up and then discard to instead keep on with the same tired stuff. It's not as bad if you skip as much open world stuff as possible just like you did with DA:I.
  20. We never got anything concrete before deciding against it. We basically decided to wait and see if we'll think we want/need it in a year or so.
  21. Thanks, KP. Now I want a chicken fried steak.
  22. I was just thinking the same thing I've also had a cream gravy at a German restaurant a time or two, wish I could remember the name.
  23. Didn't congressional Republicans take aim at the IRS and ethics straight out of the gates?
  24. We didn't go with all the bells and whistles with our solar even though I kinda really wanted battery storage but the salesperson actually talked me out of spending more. I'll probably look into later on if I still feel the need to have total grid independence but for now I'm working on getting everything in this house off gas and over to electric because our energy company keeps raising the price on NG.
  25. I think I'm getting several Obs shirts now. I like the traditional ones but the Obs pride one is cool to me too. BRB need to check shirt budget.
