The TV and Streaming Thread: Summer Re-reruns (it's always summer somewhere)
Also wondering if the show is actually getting better or if my taste is getting worse. Wife and I have been enjoying this season more than the last though she liked season one a lot more than I did. Kirk's brother's middle name is Sam unless they changed his name from George Samuel Kirk which I believe it was in TOS. Son has been watching Transformers Prime on Netflix and I hate it.

Youtube recommendations, let's beat the algorithm
I actually don't mind the treknobabble not being up to snuff. My knowledge of most of the science is very limited so as long as they can pass that low bar I'm not going to notice. For the stuff that I do notice, it'll probably depend on if I think they tried or not, which is obviously unknowable. It might even just come down to the actor's delivery of the lines or my bias against nuTrek.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 6
I don't know why but I have the same issues with the PoE games and I also can't explain it. They just don't click for me for some reason even though on paper they totally should.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 6
You shouldn't have any problem with your plan, it actually works out quite well. It's just if you were going to try to remake Geb or something then that's not going to pan out.

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Part 6
Isn't this... Restartitis got me again and I'm doing an Aeon to Devil cheat game where my Tiefling is a Crossblooded/Overwhelming Mage Sorc and Virtuous Bravo Paladin gestalt character. At Leper's Smile now.

Currently rewatching Psych after finishing up Family Matters. I always get a laugh that the show began as a spin off of Perfect Strangers and a one off character ends up becoming the main character. Even worse is that the main character that comes over from Perfect Strangers, Harriette, gets recast in the final season. Other than that the writer strike has killed off most of what I watch during the week. I guess I also watched 65 on Netflix. It was a movie.

Food Thread - Obsidian Gormand's Edition
Grilled. Made some chicken thighs with a white BBQ sauce but finished it with red sauce that I splashed some citrus into. Beef ribs with a dry rub in the pressure cooker because I don't have all day and finished on the grill with a brown sugar honey BBQ sauce. Corn on the cob also made a brief appearance. I thought I was making enough for at least 2 days but there are almost no leftovers

What You've Done Today - Don't do today, what you can get someone else to do tomorrow
Once again we had 2 full weeks of fireworks leading up to the 4th and fireworks every day since. It wouldn't be so bad if they stopped at a decent hour but they go until early in the AM. Keeps my son up, scares my dogs, and occasionally makes my PTSD flare up.

I have similar feelings about the show. I think it's the best of Kurtzman Trek by a wide margin but it still has that stank on it. My wife loves the show, though not as much as The Orville, as all the things that bother me, she either doesn't notice or it doesn't bother her as much. Have they announced any new Trek shows since STD, Picard, and Prodigy are done? I haven't been paying attention. Though I suppose I am on the interwebs and could look it up instead of typing all this out. *Looks like maybe Star Star Trek Fleet Academy.

FUBAR - we finished the series even though it didn't pull us in and was pretty bad in parts but it was easier to finish watching than find the remote. If that isn't a ringing endorsement then I don't know what is.

I'm hearing a lot of similar things in St Petersburg and Khabarovsk. In fact, I was somewhat bothered to hear how well things seem to be going in Russia for literally every one of my in-law's friends, acquaintances, and entire extended network knows. They were practically bragging about how little impact the war and the sanctions have had. I definitely wouldn't count on a revolution anytime soon.- What You've Done Today - Don't do today, what you can get someone else to do tomorrow
Took my son to the aquarium for the first time and he really liked it but got freaked out when trying to feed the stingrays. He pulled his hand back too quickly and scared them and he got splashed. Also mowed the back yard and now about to go eat some marinated red and green chili pork tacos.- warhammer 40k: rogue trader
