  1. The funny thing is they only trust him at his word on the good stuff He's super easy to manipulate too, Eric Adams just kissed his butt a little bit and pardons are already being floated. These companies stay at his properties, the Softbank thing was announced at Mar-a-Lago, and it includes previously announced investments, this isn't a completely new deal because Trump got elected, it's just being repackaged for a narcissist.
  2. Making supporters feel justified, I guess
  3. A bunch of smokey cokes. I got a bottle of Costco Islay Scotch and it's so cheap I don't feel bad about mixing it. Still really good though.
  4. Look at his last administration, pretty much all the competent picks have since bashed him. Well, some of the incompetents had a thing or two to say about him as well. It makes sense to just go for loyalty if all you want is people to suck up to you and do exactly what you say... this time around.
  5. We've started watching High Potential. It's a bit like Psych/Monk/Mentalist/Castle. The last couple of episodes have gotten really predictable but I'm still enjoying it.
  6. My wife is closer to the second one. She doesn't just throw it in there but she always loads it like there are no more dishes to load, which there almost always are, because she doesn't start it after loading it. I'm closer to the first because while I like to have things in their place I'm not going to rearrange the dishwasher if it doesn't matter.
  7. I laughed way too hard at that. All I know is that once this war is finally over Ukraine and Russia will go back to being the best of friends just like in all European Wars. No decades or centuries of bad blood and no looking for the slightest excuse to start fighting again. Nope, no sir.
  8. I haven't had it on its own but as part of a "Korean" pizza it's pretty awesome Same with tacos... and fried chicken
  9. We've been watching Christmas movies. Hot Frosty - Ted from Schitt's Creek is a snowman come to life Biltmore Christmas - Movie writer travels through time to find her happy ending Meet Me Next Christmas - Like Serendipity but better but that's not saying much The Merry Gentlemen - A Magic Mike Christmas A Merry Scottish Christmas - Half of a Party of Five (it's really 4 because the baby doesn't count) reunion Christmas That these movies are bad goes without saying but they were enjoyable if you like cheesy Christmas movies and we do
  10. Did some x-mas shopping. Got my wife the fully automatic espresso machine that she's been wanting and also got her a bread maker so that she can make her own rye bread because 95% of all the rye around here is 95% caraway.
  11. Chuck Woolery
  12. Currently downloading like 40 gigs of patches for a game I'm probably not even going to put 5 minutes into
  13. Same, I lost about half my names when they merged servers way back when. I would have rather had KOTOR3
  14. I'm looking forward to AI giving me 10 more seasons of DS9
  15. I can definitely see Don Jr, RFK, and Musk on ketamine together
  16. Not sure of the details of Evangelical Christian Zionism eschatology (what a mouthful), but I think they're trying to set the stage because, well, they've said it.
  17. We can't bring about the return of Jesus without a war to end all wars in Israel
  18. Beat me to it! He's a Crusader
  19. Beat the game with the DLC last week. Contemplating a new run but while I like the game more than the Pathfinder games, I don't find it as replayable... He said after beating it 4 times.
  20. It was just a little teaser on Reddit. An announcement of an announcement.
  21. Gold Dragon update coming soon
  22. Made some pasta for lunch with a sweet Italian sausage and some Calabrian chili and Truff sauce
  23. Close to 70 percent of Gaza war fatalities children, women: UN Human Rights Office
  24. I feel like people are forgetting or not caring that Trump killed all efforts to fix this because he wanted to run on it And as far as the low turnout, I wonder how much of it had to do with efforts to limit voting. I don't just mean purging voter rolls but also limiting voting places and ballot boxes. I'm not sure that I'd stand in line for 6 hours to vote.
