Carry out Trump's plan of grievance? Stamp out opposition? Own the libs? I think fiscal conservatism only applies to "things we don't like" for the Republicans at the moment and it probably always was for a lot of them.. and they seem to be fine with the above reasons.

What a great game between OKC and Houston last night. I wasn't heavily invested in the game but I was rooting for Houston, who lost in double overtime after KD fouled out. I like OKC well enough, but for some reason I don't really care for SGA.

Worse, it's usually completely quiet. The reason is that most of my gaming takes place while working and/or when everyone in my house is asleep.

It's kinda funny that I don't think I've played a game with the volume on for like 10 years.

For gaming, I don't really care unless it's an offline game, because then I'm questioning why I have to log on. For what made me this way, I give you the NBA 2k series, in which each new edition was more and more online until now, where it's basically a requirement (if not one in fact at this point) even if you never touch multiplayer modes. The offline game has been gutted and has been stripped of features to "encourage" online play where they can sell you stuff and show you more ads. Oh, and if you lose connection while playing the game dumps you out without even saving your progress.

Yeah, I feel good about skipping this one after all.

Getting cold so I busted out my old blue lamb stew and added some pork stew meat to the mix because my kids aren't as big into lamb as my wife is. It was a big hit.

I just backed it but at the lowest early bird tier. I might go up if they announce a GOG release in addition to Steam

I ended up canceling Netflix after the millionth time logging in and scrolling through all the soulless crap, then giving up without watching anything. I'm pretty sure my time browsing Netflix has surpassed my time actually watching it.

I'm more concerned about Trump trying to end cashless bail than the flag stuff, which, really doesn't matter at all, and has no impact on anyone's life. That said, I have no faith that the Supreme Court won't bend to Trump on this, but it should still pretty unlikely since it's been ruled to be protected free speech. If you can't afford bail you can sit behind bars for weeks, months, or even over a year while waiting for trial just because you're poor. These aren't people who the judge has denied bail because of the seriousness of the crime or their criminal history, but rather people who have been granted bail and just can't afford it.

Made an approximation of bibimbap. Grocery store near me sells shaved steak and I marinated that in some Bibigo BBQ sauce and also cooked down some shiitake mushrooms in a miso soy mix. Fried an egg over easy and served it all with some fresh veggies; shredded carrots, green onion, cilantro, and maybe something else I'm forgetting. Big dollop of gochujang on top and kimchi and sliced cucumber on the side. A lime may have also made an appearance.

No Peace Prize for Trump just yet
