  1. Somehow i expected that reduction in number of units will only affect players. How original!
  2. Depends on what's being nerfed. Many nerfs affect both players and enemies.
  3. Throwing random buffs at 2H and random speed nerfs at DW won't help. The core of the problem needs to be struck, and that's Full Attacks. In theory attack speed isn't as good for special attacks as damage (DPH, not DPS) or accuracy. DW = attack speed, 2H = damage, 1H = accuracy. So DW should be worse at special attacks than both 2H and 1H. But no, they are not because Full Attacks exists and work like they work. Removing Full Attacks is probably too drastic and not something i'd like to see so i'm thinking of reducing their damage when dual wielding.
  4. LOL. So that's why players talk about wizard grimoires only. When is OEI planning to add this feature?
  5. Shorter durations (except recovery, make it longer).
  6. Because... when You press a button, something awesome has to happen. Button = Awesome, connected now in Dragon Age PoE 2.
  7. In fairness, that letter written by Sawyer is framed in a very biased and inaccurate manner. For example, he statement " Which set of changes do you think I heard more feedback about? If you guessed the marginal drop in proc rate on the soulbound item that had only worked properly for two weeks, you’d be right." is...intellectually dishonest. The dagger in question had it's proc rate dropped from 10% to 3%; that's not "marginal", that's 2/3rds of it's bonus proc percentage. But acknowledging that doesn't hep the narrative Sawyer is trying to frame, so he implies that it's a smaller change than it actually is. The whole thing is full of stuff like that; it's not an honest discussion of why Sawyer believes these things so much as it is a justification for his view of game systems. I have to disagree, and you prove Josh's point about feeling losses more than gains nicely in a way. I feel like PoE2 patch 1.1 nerfed more than it buffed. Is it just my feeling or is it actually true? Unlaboured Blade was nerfed based only on Josh's theory. In practice players didn't feel this weapon is too strong, in fact some were happy it can compete with durgan reinforced uniques. Given Josh's approach to balance i don't think something that is OP only in theory should be subject to balancing.
  8. So Turning Wheel got bigger nerf than Inner Death. Obsidian doesn't like wound stacking monks. Something tells me Helwalker's extra damage taken wasn't nerfed.
  9. Obsidian follows "Bring Everything Closer" philosophy. Why were paladin's order restrictions removed? To bring paladin orders closer to each other. Why were FoD and F&C nerfed? To bring paladins closer to other classes. Except monks who still had (potential) 50% fire lash but ..... Why was Turning Wheel nerfed? To bring it closer to (nerfed) FoD. Why OP Dual-wielding had its attack speed nerfed instead of i.e. damage? To bring it closer to other fighting styles. Now unique items are getting closer to each other.
  10. We totally should! My ego is hungry and demands godhood.
  11. There is: restore paladin orders' restrictions. They removed them to give themselves an excuse to nerf FoD and F&C.
  12. Wasn't dex multiplicative in PoE1? Multiplicative equals strong, AFAIC.
