  1. The old where does this post best fit conundrum... Racist Flag in Wanaka actually Klingon Insignia. Most amazing thing is that they managed to get the Police to turn up to look at the flag.

  2. Before going to bed, I have decided to give my PS3 Journey one more try, because I have found one guy on Journey Discord, which planned to play today. We met at the Bridge level and my Wonder trophy finally popped up. He has shown me a lot of new ways how to go through various levels and out of bounds, so we spent playing together almost for two hours, and as a reward I got my last missing trophy Companion. So my journey is 100% complete now .

  5. It depends. If enough people start to feel, that their position is threatened by his actions, there is a possible treatment by lead incoming. Or if the new leaders would want to ease the sanctions as much as possible, they send him to Haague. But IMHO this will not gonna happen before the end of this winter. 7. It is unclear for me, from what I read, where there are deployed, and if they were already deployed in UA. Every source, which I’ve read is claiming, that they are undertrained. So if they would be deployed right now to Kharkiv Oblast, I think, they might have higher casualty rate, than the 1st and 2nd LPR/DPR Corpse around Bakhmut and Soledar in last 2 months. We’ll see. Anyway, UA hit tonight Russian base in Velikiy Burluk (part of GLOC between Belgorod and Kupyansk), which is on the way to Kupiansk, so they probably already reduced at least one “wing” of reinforcements on it’s way.

  9. I've been giving TB mode a more serious try thanks to @Noqn's beta S4 mod, and I discovered an interesting thing that I hadn't known before: many effects that do periodic damage have their damage multiplied to simulate 6 seconds of time passing as one "round" hazard effects tick like every second (it's why their damage numbers frequently look so low), so their damage gets 6x-ed most persistent aoe effects only trigger on specific initiative points each round. (This makes it really easy to run in and out of e.g. a tanglefoot or a chill fog without getting hit. lucky for humans, enemy AI is too dumb to exploit AoEs like this.) TB mode hazard effects, however, trigger both on initiative but also while moving into or through it. all these points combined, especially with #4, means that every "unit" of movement in or through a hazard effect on TB mode triggers the 6x-ed damage. If you can kite enemies, knock them around, terrify them, or somehow just get them to move around, you can do a sick amount of damage with hazard effects. I discovered this with Wall of Thorns - ordinarily does 4-5 damage per hit on RTwP - it's 6x-ed to 24-30 on TB mode. I had hobbled enemies stumbling through it wracking up tens of damage with every "unit" of movement, not to mention the additional "tick" of 24-30 damage just from the once/round effect. Easily did hundreds upon hundreds of damage in one fight alone. There's not a lot of persistent hazard effects in the game, but I anticipate these all become damage kings on TB mode: Wall of Thorns Wall of Flame Wall of Force Wall of Draining <-no damage, but probably lots of drain Wall of Many Colors <- not sure if damage gets 6x due to the way this is implemented, but enemies do trigger the color effects a lot LMK if I missed anything. Interestingly, in the tooltips, the damage isn't 6x-ed for hazard effects like other durational things, so it must be a dynamic adjustment done when someone is hit. Given that movement/trigger damage is unintentionally 6x-ed, I wonder if priest seals (electric and searing) also get 6x-ed despite having no duration?

  10. Withdraw absorb every damages taken, included DoT : it is not possible to be hurt or to die under this effect. Take the Hit (Furrante's Breastplate or SC fighter) redirect 50% of the damages taken from allies to self, even under the Withdraw effect. The combat log mention " Withdraw absorb ... damages". The effect last until the beneficial effect on allies is over, and can be extended to match with the Withdraw duration. -50% damage taken for the party can be a big deal sometimes, so I share this little trick!

  12. I beat Steelrising's second and third (mini?) bosses, the Unstable Lightning Ram: And the Unstable Forger: Both of them were quite easy, the Unstable Lancer was significantly harder than either of his brethren that followed, largely because he was fast. These 2 chumps were slow as molasses. Come to think of it, if the French had spent more time and resources on QA, they could have had stable versions.

  16. Yes this is long overdue, Russia has been attempting to blackmail the world through energy, like gas to the EU, and trying to worsen starvation so its a good move to encourage a Russian oil price cap. But why do we care, who is going to complain if Russian oil is set at a certain price? It funds Putins War and since we all opposed to that this is good news..less money for Russia Here is the link outside of FT https://worldnewsera.com/news/finance/stock-market/us-warns-of-sanctions-for-buyers-that-ignore-price-cap-on-russian-oil/

  19. What? That’s … hard to believe… on other side, the Deepstate maps, which are very accurate are saying, that Russian Army began global retreat… They do not say if from Kharkiv Oblast only or from other places as well… Although Doneck Airport is very close to UA Avdiivka stronghold, which holds unbreached since 2014…

  20. Wagner telegram says, that Russians fled Lyman as well. EDIT: and another Russian telegram says, that they left Svatove as well, which does not give me any sense, as it is deep in Luhansk Oblast… unless they hope, UA army will run for it from Kupyansk to stretch them thin and attack them later.

The burden is not to me to explain why I don't want to give away my gaming habits online, the burden is on EA to prove there is a need for me to be hooked up on the internet constantly when playing their games. 22. https://www.axios.com/2022/09/09/ukraine-offensive-kharkiv-izyum-russia Much of success of the Ukrainian offensive seems to be around how the Russians fell for a ruse, the Ukrainians publicly stated they were going to attack Kherson so the Ruskies moved much of there forces to that region but then the Ukrainians also attacked the Kharkiv region which completely surprised the mighty Russian bear I remember on Sky News the military analysts were saying " its imprudent that you announce a military campaign so openly " and they were understandably critical of the Ukrainians apparent strategy with this offensive But that was just part of the successful broader subterfuge and the Russians fell for it

  23. Nope (2022) by Jordan Peele. I really love being able to recognize stock sounds from random games I've played over the years: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/c125advjobc7qgt/explorer_3WU1zNjcbn.mp4 (note: the one used in the movie is pretty quiet, so you might have to turn it up to hear it if you're not using headphones) The creature sound effects that have been haunting me for the last 15 years are the dog whine sound effects from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, as I've heard those sounds used in probably like fifteen other places now. Anyways, in this movie, we learn why we do not use live animals for film anymore as per @Hurlshort. Also, another pretty enjoyable film by Jordan Peele.

  24. Finally got this going. Character is performing well enough so far. Just finished the dig site. Spiritshift hits pretty hard and the tankiness is welcome. The free spells it gets are very nice as well. The digsite being what it is I had to spend a lot of time tossing heals on my other party members though. I think once I get a few levels under my belt this should really shine between the aoe dots and the heals. I mean any Druid is powerful I suppose, but this should be relatively sturdy too thanks to the Paladin half. The versatility should be such that as long as I have a tank in my party I should be able to fill out the rest of it with whatever. This character can fill a lot of roles. Probably not main tank though due to the lack of engagement. But Eder will probably fill that niche most times.

  26. So now that I've gotten the hang of TB mode i think you hit a good spot with the cash rewards same thing with exp i was wondering how you were going to deal with the treasure hunting part, glad to see they all get unlocked some thoughts: remove high-level scrolls and bombs from vendors? seems a bit trivializing that it's easy to buy 5 scrolls of maelstrom, at least make people craft for it c'mon! edit: similar thing with foods. edit 2: well, maybe not foods, since the nice ones are expensive enough that they may be more of a tradeoff to buy and rest spam similarly, it feels like mats should be split up, like one person gets jewels, one person gets creature parts, one person gets the other stuff. makes it hard scrolling through least unstable coil guy's inventory. edit: eh, maybe not, upon further play it's nice that i don't have to run around while trying to remember what mats i needed for an upgrade.

  27. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work well with m&kb. This doesn't play like any previous Spiders game, though. This very much plays like Bloodborne. My favored weapon combination so far is halberd and fans. Most of the time I just stick with the halberd, since it has massive reach and I can often dispatch automatons without them ever getting close enough to reach me. Against certain enemies, though, I like to switch to the fans and do a flurry of light attacks. The fans have a high immobilization stat and you can fill up the immobilization bar on an enemy quickly with them. Once immobilized, an enemy is open to a critical attack, this is where I switch to the halberd for maximum damage.

You might want to change your approach to this argument if simply replacing Saudia Arabia with Russia and the Saudi 'king' with Putin leaves you with posts that could come from Russia Today's telegram channel. Just, you know, food for thought because it makes you look like a fascist hypocrite. Oh, wait... sorry, time to whip workers back into their mines.

But, the longer they stay, the more PoWs will end up in UA custody. So hope their generals will do nothing for at least a dozen hours

  35. How does it play with m&kb? With the Xbox controller it plays great. If anyone here has this on PS5, does it have any fancy schmancy haptic feedback? I've never held a PS5 controller, but I hear the haptic feedback is really cool, but obviously the game devs have to implement it for it to mean anything. So far the xXxBOxXx experience has been smooth (I've become a dirty, disgusting console peasant ever since I got the black mini-fridge looking box from Microsoft). Gameplay is smooth, the game looks good, and even the texture pop-in, while present, isn't too obnoxious. I've encountered one graphical glitch. When you kill an automaton they fall over onto the ground, but once in a blue moon their corpse will just freeze standing, kind of slumped forward. It's not game breaking and it rarely happens, but I do hope they fix it. I wonder if that's across all ports or Xbox specific? Other than that 1 glitch I have no complaints. Hopefully they polish up the PC port soon.

  36. It's just his way of framing SJW for anything he perceives as bad (Association fallacy - Wikipedia). It's better to support and praise a government that sponsors Al Qaida than one that sponsors Hamas after all. Never mind that AQ has a lot more kill stickers with British lives to put on their car windows. Outrage over realpolitik is reserved for those dastardly countries that does it, when they are not somebody we are dependent on.

  38. Robbing Peter to pay Paul didn't work for Russia, apparently they are now going to assault the south with the forces withdrawn from Kharkiv. Tried to do this with too little. Not sure why people keep saying Kherson was a feint (I guess people's ADD minds need an excuse for lack of success immediately), Russians there are a harder fight than elsewhere, so rightly got hit where they were weak - Rosvgardia and ОМОН of all things guarding an area. People sure are excited, though. Have to say some acting as if surprised NATO weaponry, training and intelligencr actually works.
