Maybe Trump will buy and use Hitlers bunker phone?

Nope, answered in the article why

Apparently Ted Cruz is going to debate Bernie Sanders about Obamacare on CNN tonight.

Might be worth a watch.

I think that's not until the 7th.

Instead, President Donald Trump blasted Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull over a refugee agreement and boasted about the magnitude of his electoral college win, according to senior US officials briefed on the Saturday exchange. Then, 25 minutes into what was expected to be an hour-long call, Mr Trump abruptly ended it.

Funny thing is, it is fairly believable.

The "boast[ing] about the magnitude of his electoral college win" should come as no surprise given how someone who came out from under a rock on November 9th can get an adequate sense of Trump's character. And senior government sources in Australia have actually said that the WaPo article was "substantially accurate."

I feel for the Ozzies a 1000% on this one, particularly in regards to this:

U.S. officials said that Trump has behaved similarly in conversations with leaders of other countries, including Mexico. But his treatment of Turnbull was particularly striking because of the tight bond between the United States and Australia — countries that share intelligence, support one another diplomatically and have fought together in wars including in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Throw steadfast allies like Germany and Australia under the bus and offer others like Poland and Romania who paid for American security guarantees in Iraq and Afghanistan when they didn't have to onto an altar. Gee, that doesn't sound like something that will bite the US in the ass at all down the line rolleyes.gif

“Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.”

"The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete."

It is like video games. The new thing always has to be better than the previous (or in trump's case more evil and more Hitlerish). L0LZ

Until the hipster comes by and points the original is still the best (or, Hitler is still the most Hitlerish, anyhow).

Yeah, I think it's pretty undeniable that Bush was compared by someone or another as Hitler. So was Obama, so was *every* head of government at some point or another by some or other person following WWII. It's the original Godwin's Law in action, really.

and more...

"This is the worst deal ever," Mr Trump fumed as Mr Turnbull attempted to confirm that the United States would honour its pledge to take in 1250 refugees from an Australian detention centre.

Mr Trump, who one day earlier had signed an executive order temporarily barring the admissions of refugees, complained that he was "going to get killed" politically and accused Australia of seeking to export the "next Boston bombers".

Bwahahaha. Thanks Obama.

Did he just call the whole Mexican army pussies and casually threatened the Mexican President with war in consecutive sentences? Does he realize he's not at WrestleMania anymore?

I hadn't been putting much stock on the warnings about this clown and the nucular option, but how long now before he starts ranting about glass parking lots. I mean, he hasn't even been at the helm for two full weeks.

This was clarified later, the USA  has no intention to invade Mexico

Also he is referring to the Drug Cartels and yes they are a law unto themselves, very powerful and the Mexican army is unable to defeat them for a number of reasons

Well how can they defeat the cartels when their president is a member of those cartels.

Well lets get real, of course there must be tons of corrupted politicians in Mexico, there is no way they would not dealt with cartels by now...

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

It's a pretty complex issue. Corruption is a problem, for sure, but just writing Mexico off as such has always bothered me.

We'll take care of the cartels on our side of the border. And how come no one cared when Obama demeaned and belittled Netanyahu for 8 years?

There is nothing to feel good about when there are criminals as presidents...

Tell me about it. Tax evasion is a serious crime.

Yes, I'm sure building the wall will curtail the massive amount of drug consumption in the US.
