I think the difficulty curve varies wildly. I went from slaughtering my through the priest's quarters in Raedric's keep to getting ramshanked by a trio of boar.

I have yet to encounter a single bug, gamebreaking or otherwise.

If him or the Blight gets off a fireball, you're pretty much done for. Like people have said, repulsing seal/halt/knockdown. He's squishy but when he hits he hits hard.

I for one feel this is a vast improvement over the IE games. I was so sick of pre-buffing etc etc, and then a bum rush when spells ran out before you spam rested. PoE is making me think more tactically than any IE game ever did. Sawyer and his team did a great job with this game. I always say to my other half that if diehard Tolkein fans had made the LOTR movies, they would've been terrible. I think that transfers over here. And if you want to play an IE game...play an IE game.

I dropped in on a couple of streams last night. WolfsGoRawr was okay but when you see someone walking into a big red circle after TRAP DETECTED appears over it you have to wonder. The rest have been somewhere between incompetently endearing and totally ****ing useless, the latter in no way a good way to help sell a game.

I'm going to freely admit, I'm pretty pissed about the big name things, and it's a personal thing. Obsidian are absolutely right to get the big names doing their press reviews and early YT/Streams. My personal view is that a big name YTer is gonna squash any traffic my channel had for PoE into the ground, and cue the 'You're copying such and such to get the followers" comments. I was never expecting a press key, nor would I have asked for one but considering the amount of content I've put out for PoE since August, it's a pretty selfish reason but I never said I was perfect. Not Obsidian's fault in the slightest, as I said at the beginning of this post they are completely in the right as things are to get the publicity this game deserves.
