Could you share more info on your builds and equipment? It is a tough fight but I could manage it at the first try with my fully custom party. Having two Priests might be part of the issue, as they won't be able to contribute much to your damage output, though the two Wizards should make up for that.

Yes. Dexterity affects the speed of every action you make, including attacks, spell casting, sipping potions, and reading scrolls. It also speeds up your recovery time between actions, as well as the reload animation that plays after recovery when using firearms in combat. Anything else in the game that affects "attack speed" only applies to recovery. Ideally, Dexterity is important to every character. As mentioned by Mechalibur, up until patch 2.0 Perception used to affect Deflection rather than Accuracy. This is the reason why most guides seem not to consider it very much. Accuracy is important to every character that is not in a support or tankish role. However, keep in mind that the game was balanced without the Accuracy bonus from Perception in mind. Up until patch 2.0 you couldn't boost your Accuracy through stats, yet it was absolutely possible to beat enemies to a pulp with your DPS characters. No rebalancing was made post 2.0 that would require you to pump Perception to be good at combat. That said, it is an important stat and putting points in it will make a difference. You just don't necessarily need to max it out on all characters. It depends. Flat bonuses (e.g. +1 Accuracy/point from Perception; +1 Deflection/point from Resolve; etc.) benefit all characters in the same way. Percentage-based bonuses benefit more those classes that already have a high base value to begin with (e.g. Fighters will benefit from Constitution a lot more than Wizards; characters wielding high-damage weapons will benefit from Might more than characters using fast, low-damage weapons.)

SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Select the Moon Godlike and activate her "Cautios Attack" and "Zealous Endurance" modals to increase her durability. Send her all the way to your left, then up to initiate the conversation with the dragon. Select the "Die, dragon!" option to start combat and leave the Moon Godlike to her fate. Select the protagonist and access her inventory to see her Accuracy score (should be 86 if the dragon terrified her, which is 99% likely.) Back in-game, select the Priest (character with purple-dressed Vailian woman portrait) and right-click the 4th-level spell "Devotions for the Faithful"; observe it grants a +20 Accuracy bonus. Cast "Devotion for the Faithful" on the party. Right-click the 1st-level spell "Blessing"; observe it grants a +5 Accuracy bonus. Cast "Blessing" on the party. Select the protagonist and go to the inventory. Observe her Accuracy is now 25 points higher (111 if the dragon terrified her.) Generally, bonuses to the same attribute from the same source don't stack. Unless these two spells were an intentional exception (check with a designer), the +20 Accuracy bonus from "Devotions for the Faithful" should suppress the +5 Accuracy bonus from "Blessing."

No, the bounty guys are south of the tower where you can find Stormcaller and won't drop any soulbound weapon (though they should definitely appear if you got the task from Tealdor in Stalwart. For the bandits to appear in the spot marked with a red X in the map below, you need to have at least received the "Regrets Worth Trading" quest from Okrun in Stalwart.

[I'm keeping this baby]

Mechalibur - guess you need to have it equipped when you beat the game to unlock that slide? I had it in my backpack and I'm sure no slide related to it in any way. -
The sword is in the northern portion of the Durgan's Battery map, basically in between the Battery and Galvino's place. You'll have to fight a bunch of mercenaries, and one of them will drop it. Stormcaller is split in twain. One half, a silver arrow, is stuck in a dying wolf in the southeast portion of Russetwood; the other half is on top of a tower that sits next to Durgan's Battery.

Refreshing Story
AndreaColombo replied to Raimon777's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
Well, not quite Being a Watcher is a form of Awakening. Remember Bellasiege in the Sanitarium? She's looking for an Awakened soul on which to conduct her research and you can offer yours if you meet her prior to starting Aloth's quest, but she declines. Yours won't quite do; she needs a different kind of Awakening. Your Awakening made you a Watcher; Aloth's just brought forth a personality from a past life. Honestly, I like it better this way than if the Hollowborn had been your primary motivation from the start. Yours is a personal matter. You're not out to make the world right; you're not the herald of justice single-handedly taking the world's problems on their shoulders and fixing them because they're oh-so-much-superior to the average Joe. You're just another dude/dudette who becomes a Watcher because sh!t happens. Then, as the story unfolds, you may decide to take the Hollowborn thing at heart seeing as your predicament appears to be tied to it in some way. But had that not been the case, why should you look into the matter any harder than anyone else? You possess the same means and the same knowledge—or less, even, since you come from abroad and people need to explain the Legacy to you when you get to Dyrwood. -
Concelhaut's Crushing Bugs
AndreaColombo replied to mph's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
QA are going to ask for your output.log file too. As for 2), can it be going against 25% of the Corrode DR? If that was the case, it would be mimicking the behavior of the elemental damage lashes on weapons. Still a bug as spells aren't supposed to work that way, but I guess it would be a less convoluted behavior than what you described -

It's in Concelhaut's Grimoire but you must have obtained it after patching to 2.01. -
