  1. IIRC QA mentioned in the bug forum that the issue stems from some creatures lacking a flag that makes them count toward the kills for upgrading soulbound weapons - or something like that. Hopefully it will get fixed in the next patch.
  2. I agree Clear Out could be per encounter to make it more competitive with other classes' high-level abilities. Into the Fray would be pretty good if targets weren't so easily blocked by other enemies or party members. If that was fixed, the ability would be interesting again.
  3. If you have a saved game before leveling up, you can attach it here and the repro steps will hold. "AddExperienceToLevel 3" The damage figure you'll have to provide
  4. They should stack, but I'm afraid 2.01 broke the "Speed" enchantment again. I'm still on 2.0 so I might be able to test it this weekend (though likely you'll have found out by yourself by that time.)
  5. Tangentially, has anyone else noticed that the texture on this robe is terribly bad in-game, but actually good in the inventory? I'll post screenshots tomorrow.
  6. I'm still on 2.0 or else I'd do it; anyway, suffice to have a saved game with Edér in your party without the talent. Repro steps will be something like: Load the attached saved game. Select Edér and observe he does not have the Confident Aim ability; further observe his minimum damage is X. Bring up the console and type "AddExperienceToLevel X" Level up Edér selecting Confident Aim as his Fighter ability. Observe that minimum damage on the Edér's character sheet is unchanged. It should be 20% higher. [EDIT: making repro steps more visible for QA's convenience.]
  7. The spell "Consecrated Grounds" as proc'd by the Shod-in-Faith boots appears to be affecting specific enemies. My best guess is that when the Killing them with love bug was fixed, some creatures were missed and are still lacking whatever flag makes party buffs leave them unaffected. SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Observe the protagonist is wearing the Shod-in-Faith boots. Enter combat with the spores, lurkers, etc. and spam crowd control to enable the protagonist to get close to the Giant Dank Spore. Have the protagonist be hit by a critical hit (either debuff her or try to hit her with a high-accuracy party member) to proc "Consecrated Grounds" from the Shod-in-Faith boots. Hover your cursor over the Giant Dank Spore; observe that "Consecrated Grounds" is affecting it. (You may also observe that other enemies around the protagonist appear to be unaffected.)
  8. The "Revive the fallen" ability of a fully unlocked St Ydwen's Redeemer (Fighter version) doesn't do anything. SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Observe the protagonist is wielding a fully unlocked St Ydwen's Redeemer that enables her to cast "Revive the fallen." Send the whole party back so their A.I. won't interfere in the ensuing fight. Send in the Wizard to fight the spores, lurkers etc. and wait for him to be knocked unconscious. Select the protagonist and have her cast "Revive the fallen" on the Wizard. Observe that nothing happens.
  9. Can't say these are necessarily sine-qua-non, but the abilities I would dearly miss if I played another class are Knock Down, Armored Grace, and the Specialization/Mastery chain. Sundering Blows is also pretty sweet (even though I still have to figure out what the icon is meant to represent.)
  10. If you hate PoE as much as you say you do, why do you even bother asking about the expansion?
  11. Vailian Republics / Pearl Coast would be my favorite, but Deadfire Archipelago would also be pretty good. I want naval battles I generally prefer sequels to be entirely in new locations because fresh, but I wouldn't mind if we got to visit an older location or two. It's not like I dislike the Dyrwood; quite the opposite.
  12. I might have missed something while steamrolling the dungeon ... but
  13. Why? I would do the exact opposite: Weapon Mastery (and perhaps even Bonus Knock Down) from talents to abilities. The reason is that most Fighter abilities are defensive or not particularly useful, to the point that I can basically pick the last one or two in my build at random, safe in the knowledge they'll make no difference. Talents, on the other hand, still have a bunch fighting for the last slot when I play Fighters (which is always, pretty much): Bonus Knock Down, Interrupting Blows, Quick Switch, Marksman, Penetrating Shot, Weapon Mastery, any of the defensive ones like Unstoppable etc., or even the the one that improves recovery.
  14. SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Select the Cipher and access her inventory. Observe that she has the Badgradr's Barricade shield in her backpack. Right-click on Badgradr's Barricade, then click "Enchant." Click on "White Forge" and select "Durgan-reinforced shield." Observe the message that says, "Maximum enchantment value reached for Badgradr's Barricade" even though Durgan-reinforced Shield effectively costs zero enchantment slots. This is likely due to the existing enchantments on the shield adding up to 13 out of 12. Nothing wrong with a unique shield breaking the rules, but the Durgan refinement should still be applicable on accounts of its zero cost.
  15. You can save close to enemies and write in the repro steps to enter combat. However, there must be enemies nearby out of your line of sight too; kinda hard to determine unless you already know enemy positions by heart
  16. Do when you enchant it to Fine your Pierce DR is still 8? Might be yet another thing 2.01 broke. I'm all the happier to have skipped it.
  17. Somehow I doubt his 16Gb of RAM and 4.8Ghz overclocked CPU are bottlenecking PoE's performance.
  18. So you've learned the words you need to speak to open the door? Did you find the anvil-shaped ingot you need to place in the similarly anvil-shaped slot on the door?
  19. Might be an issue with switching alliances? If you charm an enemy, they benefit from your buffs; when the charm is over, the game fails to stop applying the same buffs.
  20. I get that quite often. It is rather irritating but as it happens randomly (or seemingly so at any rate*), it is very hard to get a repro case for QA. That's why I haven't reported it yet. * I am sure there are certain conditions that, if met, repro this behavior with 100% accuracy. It's just very hard to tell since it revolves around enemies that are effectively beyond your line of sight. My custom party have all their A.I. set to Aggressive; guess it doesn't happen with Defensive.
  21. Caster-centered spells and abilities are all broken in 2.01. It has been reported by multiple users in the technical forums.
  22. SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Select the Cipher and switch to her second weapon set. Observe that she is now wielding the Spelltongue rapier. Make a single melee attack against a companion of your choice. Observe that an icon that looks like the Spelltongue rapier appears next to the attacked character's portrait. Hover your mouse on that icon; observe its effects are described with a timer between parenthesis. Observe that once the timer is over, the icon doesn't go away. Rest. Observe that even after resting the icon doesn't go away. Save the game, quit, and reload. Observe that even after quitting and reloading the icon doesn't go away.
