  1. Having Concelhaut's skull as your pet should make everybody poop their pants when they see you. "I've got one of the most powerful archmages in Eora as my private pet so excuse me if I don't find you particularly intimidating, Thaos. I'll hang your head in my keep next to the three dragons I decapitated on my way to you."
  2. Heh, they had to make resolve good for something
  3. Did anyone understand how she could forget her past altogether? I mean, she does mention trying to suppress the memories of what she had done but ... I don't know, it felt kinda forced for some reason. She used her Cipher powers to suppress her memory of what had happened and ... well, if she didn't remember what had happened in the village, why did she leave? If she left while still remembering, why didn't she go back after forgetting? If you choose to erase the memory from her mind when she asks you to, the end-game slide says she goes back to the Birthing Bell, waiting for more women to come deliver. So why didn't her suppression yield the same effect? (And why did she keep the caul up if she didn't remember why she was doing that?)
  4. I've got this too. It doesn't happen all the time, which makes it hard to provide repro steps, but often enough to be annoying :\
  5. Does this work in conjunction with IE Mod?
  6. As explained here, chances are you are missing the draining.unity3d file. If that's the case, grab the one Oralaina provided (link in the link above) and place it in your objectbundle folder. It might not fix items retroactively, however, so you may still have to sell and buyback or cheat for that. On related news, IE Mod 5.06 beta for patch 2.02 has been out since the patch was released on Steam as announced here. It's not on Nexus's main page because it's a beta rather than a full-on release, I suppose. Works perfectly fine for me; download link.
  7. Hi Sarah, I suggest reporting textual issues in this thread to keep them all in the same place (also, Eric's been keeping an eye on that thread, so it will increase the chances the issues actually get fixed.)
  8. Taking the armor from Penhelm is not the Dozens' main quest; their main quest involves looting Lle Rhemen. I've always killed Penhelm for the armor and subsequently sided with the Knights of the Crucible.
  9. ^ Same here: No issues with 5.06 beta. I don't dislike in-game character models (and love the overall graphic design), but the heavy texture compression has to go. Unfortunately it looks like they couldn't implement much in the way of optimizations and used heavy compression to make up for it (doesn't work too well; sometimes the game slows down significantly on very powerful machines too.)
  10. Springwight, tjayharvey - would it be possible to implement a console command that restores default colors on NPCs? Some of Obsidian's NPCs use colors that are not available to the player. Sometimes one might change them to better match the equipment they're using; however, selecting a new color means the original color can no longer be had if it wasn't part of the selection available to the player from the start. Very marginal stuff for aesthetics bitches like me, but if it's feasible, it would be kewl.
  11. Check your objectbundle folder; chances are you are missing the draining.unity3d file. If that's the case, download the one most generously provided by Oralaina here and place it in that folder. It might not fix Gaun's Share retroactively, but it will fix the Draining ability on all other weapons that have it going forward.
  12. After updating to 2.02, music appears to have stopped playing inside the Gref's Rest inn in Stalwart. SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game Observe you are inside Gref's Rest and no music is playing. Try to get in and out a few times. Observe that even though you can hear inn tracks from a distance while outside the building, nothing plays when you enter it.
  13. Actually, the ability seems to be working just fine in my current play through. Perhaps it was fixed but the fix was not retroactive and my old save was still bugged.
  14. Looks like a bad install. Pink blotches are missing textures. Are you on GOG.com and manually patching? If so, you need to install both patches for the game to work: The patch for the base game AND the patch for the expansion.
  15. The comma highlighted should be removed (it serves no purpose and is ungrammatical.) Screenshot "Between she and I" makes no sense and is highly ungrammatical; "she" and "I" are subjects and can't be used as objects. "Between her and me" is the correct form. Screenshot "forgive me saying so" should be "forgive my saying so" Screenshot Screenshot In the last screenshot, two correct uses of the comma have been joined in an incorrect mix The correct form is either one of the following two: Her eyes shine, and for an instant she looks like a much younger woman. Her eyes shine and, for an instant, she looks like a much younger woman. EDIT: A few more. "return" should be "returned" Screenshot Sentence begins with a space that needs removing. Screenshot "fully articulated" should not be hyphenated (composite adjectives that include an adverb never hyphenate.) Screenshot "Might fine" should be "Mighty fine" Screenshot
  16. This bug was originally reported here but since 2.02 is no longer beta, I figured it would have better visibility if I posted it again in this forum. SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Select the Priest (Vailian portrait with elegant violet clothes) and access her inventory. Unequip her shield to lower her Deflection (you'll need this later); observe she is wearing Raiment of Wael's Eyes. Right-click the robe and observe its description says it grants Mirror Image when hit by a Critical hit. Back to the game, select the Moon Godlike, activate her modals and send her to face the Alpine Dragon ("Mirror Image" is a combat-only spell so you must be in combat to test whether it works); make sure you keep the rest of your party out of enemies' sight so you can conduct your test. Select the Priest and have her cast Devotions for the Faithful on the party; simultaneously have your Wizard cast a Scroll of Valor. The protagonist should now be able to crit the Priest automatically upon attacking her. Select the protagonist and attack the Priest. Observe that when the Priest is struck by a Critical hit, Mirrored Image doesn't proc.
  17. SAVED GAME: link OUTPUT LOG: link REPRO STEPS: Load the attached saved game. Access the stash to find Tidefall, and give it to the protagonist. Right-click Tidefall and observe its description says it applies 25% of damage over time. Back to the game, select the protagonist and have her attack a party member of your choice. Observe the combat log says the protagonist affected that party member with *EffectError*. (The ability works, so apparently it's a matter of making it lookup the correct string in the dialog file.)
  18. Got a saved game that exhibits the issue to upload? Alongside your output.log file. QA will ask you for those
  19. Only potions I give my frontliners are healing potions and Deleterious Alacrity of Motion. The latter I have them sip as soon as the fight ensues, while the enemy draws near. It's a big DPS booster. Scrolls I generally leave to casters (and I generally mostly use Scroll of Valor and Scroll of Defense.)
  20. It already exists after beating part I, so I don't see why not. (in the base game the final fight is balanced against level 9, btw)
  21. Guess there's a RES check for that dialog option? I usually play low-RES characters so I would miss it.
  22. It was never "proc on hit" that I know of. It was, and still is, "proc on crit" on Sanguine Plate. Barbarians activate it when they want.
