  1. I'm honestly surprised these synergies need to be modded in. They would have made so much sense in the base game already. Thanks for making this!
  2. Tekehu as a Theurge can be pretty great at heal/support, and he has those FoE-only Water-based spells which are pretty great. His Spiritshift form is very good to handle Lagufaeth, since they have a penchant for paralyzing darts. Not the greatest at DPS because of relatively low MIG, but still very good in general. It doesn't hurt that he has a lot of interjections and an interesting story arc.
  3. It's important however to differentiate between full-on companions and sidekicks. All full-on companions have a personal story arc, banter, interjections, and participate in the companion relationship system. They are: Edér Aloth Pallegina Xoti Maia Serafen Tekehu Sidekicks only have interjections in specific parts of the game (usually the DLCs.) They do not have a personal story arc, banters, or participate in the relationship system. They are: Konstanten (has content during Seeker, Slayer, Survivor) Fassina (has content during The Forgotten Sanctum and a fling with Konstanten during Seeker, Slayer, Survivor) Rekke (has some content during the base the game) Vatnir (has content during Beast of Winter) Mirke (not sure whether she has content?) Ydwin is in-between. She started out as a sidekick (with content during Beast of Winter) but recently received a dialog tree like regular companions (but still no banters or personal story arc, and she doesn't participate in the relationship system.) All sidekicks have been given dialog in the final chapter of the game. In terms of the classes you'd like to have in your party: Druid : Tekehu (he has a pretty good unique sublcass too.) DW DPS : Edér, Serafen, Rekke, Konstanten, Mirke, and possibly Pallegina can all be built that way. CC : Aloth, Serafen, Ydwin Support : Tekehu, Xoti, Pallegina, Vatnir, Konstanten, Fassina Tank: Edér, Pallegina, Rekke, maybe Konstanten
  4. Speaking of which, does Frostfall now benefit from Secrets of Rime? I know the bug was reported back then, but I don’t recall seeing a fix in any patch notes. It should be an easy fix; just need the Frost keyword to the attack.
  5. Voidwheel and Sanguine Great sword for I’m sucker for great swords Will Breaker Engoliero do Espirs
  6. What do you mean refresh? It’s supposed to change in real time when you change your equipment.
  7. If MS’s marketing department know what they are doing, they’ll realize how poor marketing was behind Deadfire’s lackluster sales. If they’re not worth their salt, then yeah: good-bye RTwP, should TB prove successful. A shame, if you ask me. RTwP is a very good system.
  8. I too would love a third game, and not Skyrim-style. Action RPGs bore me quickly even when they are exceptionally well-made, and I’d end up missing out on the story and lore. I prefer RTWP but I can live with a well-executed TB system if the game is isometric and party-based. I need to know the deal with Yezhua, after all
  9. For some reason GoG Galaxy wasn't updating to this hotfix while the "Automatically update to the newest version" option was selected. I had to deselect it and manually pick the latest version for the update to kick off. Thanks Daled for the tip
  10. I’m on the regular channel. Is the hotfix on the beta channel?
  11. Been wondering since the beta days, though I haven't quite bothered with it because I'm always using the Cat form anyway. Rightfully pointed out; hope it can get looked at.
  12. I believe BMac confirmed in a different thread on the same subject that it'll be fixed in 4.02.
  13. I disagree. This is an excellent way of getting endgame unique gear earlier and be able to enjoy it for longer without disabling achievements with the console (and you pay extra to hire characters with equipment.) If having duplicated items or early access to endgame gear bothers you, you can always import without equipment (or remove equipment prior to exporting if you want to be hardcore.)
  14. I'm on GoG Galaxy and that game's still not updating. Is it just me or GoG doesn't have the patch yet?
  15. I commend Obsidian for their commitment to supporting Deadfire long after its release, not giving up on it despite the fact that it probably didn’t sell as much as expected, and listening to player feedback. I too prefer RTwP but if there can be an option for TB, that’s great. I’m all for player options and flexibility—and where else would you find a game that offers this kind of flexibility? Looks like there’s at least one more big patch to go, then EDIT: I’m also intrigued by that new ship combat UI.
  16. Heh, not so much a surprise anymore I guess. Very interesting though. I prefer RTwP but it's cool to see so much dedication to post-launch support and providing player options.
  17. I assume this should be "residue":
  18. You mean the Machiavellian psychopath who invaded a whole country to impose his view of the world on everybody? And when that failed, he inhabited an adra statue, stomped around the Deadfire as a walking biawac killing hundreds in his wake, and put all kith and gods on a timer by destroying the Wheel? You don't mind that guy?
  19. Here's the save file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vvazwddllidhyaw/Misery%20%28BardattoEstate%29%20%28addd9497-5e31-441d-b5b2-fb51456004ba%29%20%28LAX-123ABCDEFG%29%20%28918342303%29.savegame?dl=0
  20. This kind of issue is usually a sign of corrupted game files. If I'm right, a Verify/Repair should fix it up quite nicely.
  21. The in-game console does, yes, but the Unity Console mod does not
  22. Unity Console should work. Other than that, I’m afraid the best you could do is report the bug and attach a saved game and output log.
