  1. @Phenomenum Confirmed to be a resolution-related issue. I switched to windowed 1920x1080 and all icons were perfect. At full-screen 2560x1440, a number of them (but not all) show borders here and there. Here's a screenshot with those I mentioned earlier: There are a couple in the Barbarian tree as well (like Interrupting Blows.)
  2. It might be due to using different screen resolutions. I’m using 1440p. I’ll post screenshots of what I see later today (AFK right now.)
  3. It works, and it looks great! Quick feedback after a cursory look: Some of the icons look a bit blurry. Examples I caught include Helwalker, Helscar, and Sneak Attack. Some of the icons aren't centered and you can see their squared borders within the circle. Those I noticed are Two Weapon Fighting (border visible at the top and left), Two Handed Style (border visible at the right and bottom), Tumbling (border visible at the right and bottom), Wildstrike Freeze (border visible at the top and left), Wildstrike Frenzy Shock (border visible at the left) I must say it makes quite a difference to have unique icons for the passives!
  4. How long does the Accuracy buff from Enduring Dance last? Until you’re hit enough times (and how many times is that)? Firebrand from a scroll only requires 2 Arcana, one point of which you can get from one of the skill trainers, and casts rather quickly. It’s very good to use in BoW, though the Fire Keyword makes it so that enemies can dispel it rather easily. It was very good against the dragon, though. However, during my last playthrough I compared my Devoted/Helwalker to a SC Helwalker and the latter felt quite a bit more powerful with WotW and the Stalking Cloak, even without extra cheese like Avenging Storm and Hand Mortars. EDIT: How high is your DPS characters’ Accuracy on average? Mine is usually between 120 and 130, but some of the Megabosses require higher figures to hit reliably.
  5. Besides the blunderbuss modal and running in the middle of a pack of ravenous enemies, are there other ways to make yourself flanked?
  6. My problem with the Streetfighter is that it needs to be flanked and bloodied to benefit from the bonuses. Unless I rely on BDD shenanigans, I'm as good as dead after swinging my weapon twice. Fighter/Priest may dish out less damage, but is definitely more durable (even a SC Priest of Berath could be a decent damage dealer; the high-level spells are pretty good.)
  7. After 1.2 I disabled telemetry and stopped posting builds or even synergies I ran into specifically to avoid the nerf-hammer. Unfortunately somebody else spilled the beans about Brilliant+SoT but we were lucky enough they only changed Brilliant from 3s to 6s (which I modded back about three minutes thereafter.) @dunehunter has it right.
  8. Devoted (Greatsword) / Priest of Berath hits like a truck if you max out on Berath’s favored dispositions.
  9. If Obsidian did it, I could hear the lament too—but if it’s an optional component of a mod, people can easily ditch it if desired.
  10. If it’s going to be in a separate, standalone file, I’m all for it (since I can easily remove that particular file when I install the mod)
  11. Heart-chime amulet does not work in the first place By the way I remember looking at it in the JSONs and I couldn’t spot any obvious issues. Of course I might have missed something, but it’s likely a code issue.
  12. Wouldn't it be better to create an additional 2nd-level spell for each Priest that added the weapon in question? For Wael you could potentially re-use the model for Llengrath's Warding Staff (which would unfortunately come with the grating Wizard spell icon in the inventory); it looks sufficiently similar in style to the wand IMO.
  13. I'll never accidentally play a Tactician/Priest. If I do, it's very likely that I'm willfully pursuing the Brilliant+SoT combo. The Ultimate is an unfair challenge in the first place, so it should come as no surprise that people tackling it are abusing everything that can be abused in order to beat it. It's the name of the game. I also think nobody denies that 100% up time for buffs is fun
  14. Abusing Brilliant is something that requires three things: high levels, meta knowledge, and willingness to knowingly pursue the exploit. There's no need to nerf something you'll never accidentally run into and ruin your game with. If you willfully seek it, you can't complain about it; if you don't willfully seek it, you don't run into it. It's that simple
  15. My .02: I wouldn't make them into a trinket so much as into a spell for consistency. However, if the same look could not be achieved (which I believe it couldn't), or it could not be achieved at the same level of quality, I would personally never use them. I'm too much of an aesthetics bitch (to the point that if I wanted to use, say, Llengrath's Warding Staff on a build, I would pay an artist to draw an inventory icon for it as I can't stand its using the same icon as the spell.)
  16. Yeah, just checked them out. Berath's and Rymrgrand's are the best ones; Magran's is really nothing special. Also checked Minor Avatar for all other deities and only Magran is getting the special fiery one; all others look the same. Symbol spells and spiritual weapons all look pretty rad.
  17. Another ability that recycles an existing icon is "Bodyguard" from Furrante's Breastplate, which uses the icon from Rogue's Coordinated Positioning.
  18. By means of an update, the Rogue/Priest of Magran works pretty well too. The problem is that pistol/sword is just a bad combo. They don't synrgize as well as the Scordeos so you either optimize for one or for the other. A couple things I noticed: Priest of Magran's Minor Avatar is fiery like the fire twin from the Dichotomous Soul, which I thought was a very nice touch. Looks very cool with Flame Shield and Magran's summoned weapons. Some of the bonus spells, like Torrent of Flames or Symbol of Magran (the latter unfortunately unavailable to MC Priests), are plenty cool Now I'm curious what the Incarnates look like (except Rymrgand's, which I've seen already.)
  19. I too can see how some of the custom icons are darker. It would be great if they could be made to match the brightness of the originals’ white—but they look amazing either way
  20. I don’t think it’s fair to say those people were unintelligent—it was only logical to expect a weapon that deals elemental damage would/should benefit from elemental talents. Not everyone could know that the system in place would make it counterproductive. The weapons I know of are Lord Darryn’s Voulge, Frostseeker, Essence Interrupter, Firebrand, and Frostfall. I’m not sure Frostfall has the keyword, however. Firebrand is literally made of fire so it might make sense to retain the keyword.
  21. The Cipher multi isn't that bad, after all. When I tested it, I did so in parallel with a Devoted/Priest of Berath (another combo I'm interested in) and forgot I had maxed Berath's dispositions, so the latter had an advantage lash-wise. I also forgot to spam Recall Agony with the Soulblade/Priest of Magran, which I should have done. Devoted/Berath hit harder but those two things would help make the gap smaller. I'll try out the Rogue variant too for good measure, though.
